We need to see the musical icons from our heyday when we can, especially now that we can consider it lucky these days when the musicians are still alive, let alone performing. Hi friends!

I'm home and very well and happy. My next trip is August 7-14, to Chicago for Northalsted Market Days Aug. 10 & 11.

Tuesday night I went into Philadelphia for a concert by Bright Light Bright Light and Ariana & the Rose. It was at Milkboy, a smaller venue near the Gayborhood. So it was VERY up close!!

I've been a Bright.Light Bright Light fan for years (he's really Rod Thomas, from Wales but Bew York- based lately).

I enjoyed Ariana & the Rose very much, too! She's a New Yorker with a good set of songs and great delivery.
