Thank You to the Hillary Clinton Supporters

Well let me tell you, McCain isn't doing anything to unite the people behind the President-Elect right now. It's a terribly pathetic speech.

And I'm actually touched that Palin has tears in her eyes right now.

I actually liked his speech.

His shooshing of that nonsense was the real McCain.

I'm shocked (OK, no I'm not with most of you Liberals) about McCains speech.

I thought for the first time since the primaries, McCain was McCain. Since it became Obama v. McCain I knew it'd be who could keep it cool the whole time. McCain tried to be what America wanted, but shone through, while Obama did, but wasn't shone through (through the media, and his overall composure) but last night, McCain went back to just being himself and I thought it was one of his better speeches I've seen in months.

I also thought McCain's speech was really good. As one person pointed out months ago, McCain is a terrible liar. When he has to do something he doesn't want to, you KNOW it. He can't fake sincerity the way many politicians can.

But his concession speech came across to me as quite sincere. And, given the source, to me that meant it WAS sincere.

I always knew that McCain was a good person someone who could have been president. But unfortunately, you cannot be a moderate and win a partisan election. IMO, we need more moderates and independents in politics.
