I got the idea for this thread after i received a lovely comment about one of my picture threads and it got me to thinking how just a few nice words can mean such a lot.

Do you take the time to thank people on here for making thread, good advise given or just giving you a good laugh ?

For a few threads here, it's:

But I've often thanked people for comments on my posts and even a few threads.

It's common courtesy when they go to the trouble of telling me what I did meant to them.

I should try to be a nicer person.

I may have once or twice, but not normally. Instead of thanking someone I am more likely to just comment about it being a nice post which I have done just a few times.

I do tend to send a member a comment if i like or agree with what they have posted. As you well know...;)

I do but should try harder to communicate more frequently with people.

I Try to add a thanks for sharing to the op in my posts.
If I might add there are some jobs that seem thankless; the person that bags your groceries is a good example and a good opportunity to say thanks.

Your threads are great, thank you.

I was thinking I do...but that is on facebook. I use the facebook like button alot...

So thanks everyone who makes threads. I enjoy all of them (almost) and I appreciate the efforts everyone makes.

I rarely make any because the things I think to talk about are too weird for a general message board.

Don't mention it.

I better get a thank you for this post.
