THAT GIRL! Marlo Thomas and Ted Bessell

Another similar show at that time was LOVE ON A ROOFTOP that featured Judy Carne and Peter Duel, about five years before he starred in Alias Smith and Jones.

Sorry, but I've really enjoyed Will Smith in his movies.

Oh, Donald!!!!!!

Ted Bessell was very sexy on that show.

Did you ever see the spoof called "That Black Girl" that Saturday Night Live did a long time ago? I think it was Garrett Morris playing her.
It was Danitra Vance. She was really great on that show.

I caught a few of the episodes this weekend and really enjoyed them. Ann Marie and Donald Hollinger made a cute couple and, although I was a little kid when the show was on the air, I think I had a crush on them both. Seeing the shows this weekend reminded me of how pretty Marlo Thomas was - and really still is, considering her age now. She must be close to 70! The theme song is great and I love the kite.

The funniest Halloween costume I ever saw was a guy dressed up as Ann Marie complete with flip wig, false eyelashes and mini skirt (he looked exactly like her) on roller skates holding onto a "That Girl" kite. The kite was at the end of a rigid wire that made it look like it was flying above him. It was a wonderful costume and people were dying laughing.
