The 2006 MTV VMAs is tomorrow and will start at 8pm et/pt. The person I’d like to watch the most on that show is the pop diva/superstar actress Jennifer Lopez!!! She’s an adorable down-to-earth person and an A list celebrity like Halle Berry, who I also adore.

Jennifer Lopez had this #1 hit song called “I’m Real” several years back, and well, just like the way that song of hers goes, she‘s real, the way she walks, the way she talks and the way she smiles. That down-to-earth diva is true to herself because she acts and looks the same way now like the way she did way back in the early 1990s when she first came onto the scene. She’s no con artist, she's real.
 
Down to earth? Isnt she a huge Diva B!tch? Ive never heard anyone describe her as down to earth.
 
I've never heard anyone say that she's a diva bitch. But that's okay 'cause that's your opinion and your entitled to it. Anyway, what has she ever said or done that seemed like diva fashion?
 
I keep track of entertainment news and the tabloids and there’s nothing she’s done in diva bitch fashion, so she’s really not a diva bitch at all. NYCBum, whoever told you she’s a diva bitch, lied.

Basically anything that discusses celebrity news has said she is. High Maintenance = Diva. Plus doesnt she have to have an all white dressing room where ever shw goes? And if she doesnt get it then she wont do anything there? Well in my book that's a bitch,
 
Ok, I like J.Lo, but I'll be the first to say, she's a diva bitch.
 
I just looked at the artist rider at http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/lopezrider1.html. Granted that she has the funds to pay for that sort of stuff like renting things like small furniture or trailers with white walls and white carpeting, but I think most trailers would be available on the lot with basic white walls, basic white carpeting and even a large sink because most trailers are built that way.

Most material things are basic and white in color. Every A list celebrity has the funds to rent that type of stuff like Jennifer Lopez. I don’t think there’s an A list celebrity who doesn’t ask for those kinds of rented things that Jennifer Lopez asks for. Asking for those things like rented trailers, rented small furniture, rented television sets and rented VCRs comes with the territory.

And looking at that Lopez “Dumped” by Furious Agents article, I believe it’s a question of “they said, she said”. Anyway, I see key phrases like “reportedly” and to me “reportedly” means “they said”. I also see the phrase “they claim” and when you see the phrase “they claim”, I don’t think you should take it as a fact because the claim could be false and it has to be proven. And “reduced fee” could mean that just a little bit got reduced on the contract like maybe $100. “Reduced fee” doesn’t have to mean a lot of money. Anyway, it says on the article that Jennifer Lopez “flatly denied the story”. And on the article it says that “Lopez's new representative Leslie Sloane has refused to comment on the matter.” Well, Leslie Sloane can’t comment to every reporter in the world. I’ve never even heard of WENN, the ones who wrote the article.

I don’t think Jennifer Lopez asks for everything in white everywhere she goes and anyway white is the most basic color and therefore most furniture are white. I think Jennifer Lopez didn’t want to go through the trouble of them finding stuff like small furniture and what not of a different difficult-to-find color.

At least Jennifer Lopez isn’t a scary diva and what I mean by that is she doesn’t have the look of cruelty in the eyes like The Queen from the story of Snow White and she doesn’t have the personality to say or the personality to try to avoid to say on television “I’m wealthy and I’m reaching legendary status dahling, now get lost before I throw something at you and get your feelings hurt, you pathetic loser!!!” That’s what I mean by a scary diva. But Jennifer Lopez isn’t a scary diva. She’s definitely down-to-earth and a vision of adoration.

So to summarize, I don’t think she’s high maintenance because she has the funds for that kind of stuff like rented basic trailers and rented basic furniture and rented electronics and I believe that every A list celebrity asks for the same kinds of things that Jennifer Lopez asks for.

AndrewV, you're right, she's a huge star but she's not a bitch or a diva (in the negative sense of the word).
 
I like most of her stuff. I don't really care if she is a diva or not.. everyone out here is.. famous or not ;)

Insiders say that super-goddess Jennifer Lopez has elevated herself to deity status, insisting on a huge entourage of bodyguards and outrageous demands.
Superstars that are difficult to please and that make eccentric demands are certainly nothing new to the Hollywood landscape, but industry scene watchers are labeling Jennifer Lopez as one of the most difficult stars to please, ever. As stories of unprovoked tirades and a 'holier than thou' attitude continue to pile up, so does the size of Puffy's former sweetheart's security force. Those close to the set of her upcoming film, Enough, have revealed that, not only is her entourage enormous, it is also well trained to obey her over-the-top demands. Apparently, Lopez may only be referred to her by her handlers as "No. 1," and her every movement is tracked and reported via walkie-talkie.

Understandably (insert sarcasm here), Jennifer's security guards have a standing order that no one is to make eye contact or speak directly to the Latin Diva. Producers and wardrobe people also have to obey the Lopez Rules, which include her insistence on having a particular type of bra that conceals her rather dark nipples. When Lopez herself forgot to bring her favorite undergarments to the set, she proceeded to lambaste the crew and producers until a new bra was produced. J. Lo’s Diva-like Demands
Jennifer Lopez has been staying at a swanky London hotel to promote her latest film and it has been rumored that her demands are more than diva-like.
Jennifer Lopez, who has been in London promoting her latest flick Maid in Manhattan that made its London debut on February 26, has reportedly made a name for herself at the swanky London hotel where she was staying. Lopez rented the entire top floor for a mere $13,500 a night. One of the stipulations Lopez had is that the suite where she was staying be decorated with white lilies, white linen, and white curtains. She apparently arrived for her stay with 60 suitcases in tow and once she had settled into her room she found out her ex Sean "P. Diddy" Combs had stayed in the same suite.

Well, needless to say, like most people she demanded that she be moved to another suite refusing to stay in the same suite as her ex once had. According to one hotel staff member, "The whole thing was a farce. We had to lug all of her stuff from one room to another – it took forever." Other demands included that the hotel staff not be permitted to talk to her, all food must be left out in the hall, only Cristal champagne was to be served to her and her staff, and that sushi and chocolate cake be available at all times.

According to a source, "As long as everything goes smoothly, then she’s happy – but if it goes wrong, she can be prickly." One has to wonder what makes a famous person become so demanding. Do they feel they’ve earned the right to act like a jerk or is it just a money issue? They have the money and power – is it an ego trip or are they so accustomed to people bending over backwards for them that it is just second nature?
 
“Everyone out here is…famous or not”…LOL, I agree with you keys. Everyone here can lose their temper sometimes and yell things like “You’re on my last nerve…shut the fuck up!!!” or whatever. It’s human nature.

I do remember seeing those two articles a couple of years ago. But keys, that’s not what the articles really look like. Whoever you got those articles from, they don’t look totally correct, in fact they look misleading. Comparing the article you posted to the article itself in the link, you’ll notice that the first sentence is actually the topic or in other words, the heading of that article, that it really isn’t the start of the first paragraph. So everything on that article is based on what the insiders are saying about Jennifer Lopez. And maybe the insiders said what they said because they probably got let go of. And Jennifer Lopez probably fired them because maybe they were rude to her and as a result maybe they got angry and made up that whole story in retaliation.

And here’s what the second article really looks like: http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/3-5-2003-36742.asp, so you’ll see that everything’s based on a rumor because the heading of that one says “…and it has been rumored that her demands are more than diva-like…”. So everything they’re saying on that article is just a rumor.

Anyway, the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards is today! The show starts at 8pm et/pt and the pre-show which I think is when the celebrities will walk down the red carpet will be at 6:30. I bet Jennifer Lopez will look beautiful as always!

she's a fake and a foney. she would sell out her mother for time in the spotlight. i can't stand these celebs who think they are the second coming. you think she would be doing the kind of music she does if she didn't know it would sell?she's all about the bttm line.
