I like how three Oscar winners are nominated in one category.

You know I saw Burlesque and Cher wasn't half bad at all. The Razzies used to be a good idea at one time, they actually nominated and singled out performances and movies that were abysmal (ie. Windows, Cruising, The Fan, etc)... I feel like since the late 90's, the guy who runs it is absolutely obsessed with nominating anything that Cher, Sharon Stone, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton etc does even if it deserves it or not.

I'm surprised Lindsay didn't get a nomination for Machete but Jessica Alba did, they were both equally as bad, but the movie wasn't trying to be serious. The Razzies should focus more on films that aren't trying to be bad, rather than stuff like Machete and Vampires Suck. Yeah, Twilight and the Last Airbender deserve to be in there - and definitely Megan Fox for Jonah Hex. It's almost like she wasn't even trying when they were filming it.

The best nomination though truly is Sex And the City 2 - that "film" was an absolute mess and nearly destroyed the legacy of the series. What the hell were THEY thinking?!?!

Everyone gave The Tourist flack for that whole Golden Globe fiasco, but was it really that abysmal? I haven't seen it, but are we talking Razzie-worthy here?

The best nomination though truly is Sex And the City 2 - that "film" was an absolute mess and nearly destroyed the legacy of the series. What the hell were THEY thinking?!?!

I haven't seen it and don't want to, but I actually gave the first one a try. Halfway through it, I decided it was a completely unwatchable piece of shit and turned it off. If it's somehow WORSE than the first one, that's an amazing accomplishment.

Kristen Stewart should win everything that she is nominated for.

You see, at least with the first SATC movie, it was somewhat nice to be reunited with old friends, even though it seemed like just an overlong episode. They even wrapped most of the storylines up nicely (even fairytale-like) at the end of it.

And then came SATC 2.

For no apparent reason other than to rake in money, they pumped out this piece of garbage which completely ruined anything and EVERYTHING I loved about the show. The girls turned into rich, vapid, shrill bitches, their problems so trite that only the wealthy and truly upper-class New Yorkers can only identify with. Then the plot had them whisked away to the middle east for pointless reasons other than to reunite Carrie with a bloated-looking Aiden and to give Samantha yet another sexcapade. And Anthony and Stanford getting married??? Wow... just wow. To think that a gay man wrote this shit, it doesn't get any better than this!

I feel bad that Liza Minelli was the one who got a Razzie nomination for this as I felt her performance was about the only thing that made me laugh (for the wrong reasons).

Had The Last Airbender not been released this year, I totally wish that SATC2 swept all the categories it's nominated in (except for Liza who shouldn't have even been nominated).

Face it, the Razzies will nominate anything Liza touches these days for no reason and that is just stupid.
