Marty Supreme

F1
Sinners
Frankenstein
Hamnet
One Battle After Another
Sentimental Value

I know a couple people will gladly say ZERO. Has anyone seen them all?
I have seen five of the ten. In the past, I would want to see all ten nominees BEFORE the awards. However, some years there are movies I just don't want to see.

Which picture do you think will win?

I haven’t seen F1: The Movie and probably won’t. I just don’t like Brad Pitt. I also haven’t watched Frankenstein or Train Dreams yet. They’re both on Netflix so I’ll check them out soon. I haven’t seen Marty Supreme either but I’m planning to watch it on March 18. I’ve already bought my ticket in advance.

I couldn’t really connect with Sentimental Value or Hamnet. They just didn’t click for me. Sinners is good but it’s just too overhyped. One Battle After Another and The Secret Agent feel like the most complete films and really deserve to win. I love both of them. I’m rooting for Paul Thomas Anderson for Best Director and Best Picture. It’s about damn time. And I’m hoping The Secret Agent takes home Best International Feature Film and Best Casting.

However, the film that surprised me the most was Bugonia. What a wild movie. Emma Stone is excellent but Jesse Plemons was robbed of a Best Actor nomination. I had the most fun watching it. Yorgos Lanthimos is mad brilliant.

You sound like a real movie fan. Also, you were the only one to respond to my thread. Thought there were more movie lovers here.
Marty Supreme is worth your time just to see the wonderful performance by Timothy C. I agree, Sinners is over hyped, but still excellent. I love PTA, so I agree with you on One Battle for best picture and director. Begonia was a little too bizzaro for me, but Emma Stone was brilliant, can't believe she shaved her head. Best actress is a lock for Jesse Buckley in Hamnet, but it would be quite an upset if Stone won her fourth Oscar for best actress.
