I checked, and was not surprised not seeing a thread for the new season for The Amazing Race 12.

No worthy hunks.
Okay, it has lesbians for the first time.
One freaking gay, who thankfully, was out as soon as the episode one breathes a life. Kinda reminded me of the less glamorous and horrible version of Karen and Jack.
Gothic couple, who amazed me that the girl did the peddling, and not the guy. Is he gay too?

I don't feel like watching it this season. This show needs hunks!
 
whenever they have a run of teams that are 2 20 something males winners they do a season without young all male teams.
 
I feel TAR has lost its something. Don't get me wrong i love the show, however, it is missing something.
 
The show has won the emmy 5 years in a row for best reality tv show. so its def doing something right to keep afloat. Its prolly just getting harder for the producers to think of new places to go and task to do. I will admit that bike ride across that canyon was pretty cool and I would LOVE to have did that. Its my faveorite tv show ever and I would love to be on it.

I think Natan and Jason are both cute. Also TK would be cute is he got rid of them dreads. I'm glad that gay guy is gone. See karma is a bitch. They should not have stole that taxi.

I like the goth couple thus far. They are suppoesdly together but he seems kinda femme to me.
 
Its debut pulled higher ratings than the finale last season, the last time they had ratings this high was TAR8. So something is right and not just the timing. With ther writers strike this show will not be affected in any way. Nathan was kinda hot and TK and Jason have potential. I haven't figured Kynt out yet.

But those donkeys were the funniest thing since Charla has to wear that suit of armor in AllStars.

One Emmy Awards review I read on the net said that TAR did the abnormal when it won Emmy again even without a show in the fall.

I think this season is the senior citizen themed, or something.

I will watch out for The Amazing Race Asia 2. Me thinks the hunk factor exists there.
 
TAR can submit any programming for Emmy consideration that aired in the 12 month period of eligibility, it does not have to start in the fall. Epis from TAR12 were submitted that started last February. Shame the source didn't do its homework.

They're trying to avoid the alpha males so offering more people over 40 draws in a new audience and fewer mactors is a nice change too.
 
I love the Amazing Race. It could use a couple young, athletic male teams, but the show is Amazing, and I will never stop watching.
 
The end of Amazing Race got cut off (Damn TiVo.) Who got eliminated?

^^^ - Good. They were boring as hell. And I have to agree with you. I don't really have a favorite team as of right now. No one to cheer on.
 
I like the Goth couple and the fact that all the others (except the lesbians) get pissy when they do so well. That one blond gal whose boyfriend cannot work a pully seems like a bitch. The dude who let his grandpa polevault over the stream is an asshole as is the dude who is so shitty to his daughter.
 
I so wish the Dad and Daughter team got eliminated he is incredibly annoying!! I don't know how she puts up with him! I like the lesbian ministers...then were chill and fun....but obvi not really cut out to make it any further in the race.

and yeah the girl who's boyfriend couldn't do the pully(though that was a few teams where the girl carried that challenge) but the blonde with the tall bf...she def seems like she's gonna be the cunt this season...haha

and the blondes.....umm.....are they supposed to be like "hot blondes" cause in the opening they are like all in their bikinis and trying to look all sexy...but omg they are so not attractive...haha
 
the asian dad is so annoying but in a really ben stein sorta way. when i look at him i think "bueller, bueller..." so its kinda funny.

the blone girl with the tall bf is very cunty and annoying. i think either her or her bf called the goths, "the freaks" this season is "boring" to some people because there are no really huge jerks that are trying to screw everyone over.

i love this season. this is the one show that i actually like to remain drama free. i just find traveling around the world and performing these tasks interesting on their own. i think that's why it wins emmy's every year.
 
I love the amazing race.It beats the hell out of big brother this year or survivor any year.Phil is a hot host.Better than Julie chen or Annoying Jeff prost.
