^^^ First team in 14 seasons to receive 2 penalties in the same leg. What morons. And this is the first season ever that I don't have a fav team to root for.
 
well my fav team got voted off...I loved Mike and Mel.....but I guess I'll root for .....Gee I don' t even know anymore....I like Margie...I don't really care for Luke...the Tweedles I don't really like...Tammy is alright...Victor is annoying....The Cheerleaders I may root for...cause I like how big of a bitch Cara is...haha

I liked Mel and Mike for the most part, but Mike's sarcasm was a bit much at times. It was a cool relationship though. It was so funny how they were at the spice shop. I think Jaime is the bitchy one. I can sometimes be amused by mean girl, but tbh Jaime's ugly American awfulness comes across as racist in many ways. I do like Tammy as well and it is apparent that she was always been marginalized by Queen Victor her whole life.

I have nothing to say bad about Jen and Kisha. Except Kisha makes dumb mistakes. I guess Ill root for them.

btw The tweedles were such assholes for fucking with the bike pumps.

The National Weather Service broke in right before the end of the show. Who got eliminated, the brothers or the sisters?

no one...non elimination week

the brothers got a 4 hour penalty though for using personal belongings to settle a bill

they did I think 50 minutes and then Phil checked them in and told them that the remaining time will be tacked onto their start time for the next leg and that they also have a speed bump to complete

and next week Jen and Luke get into a fight and call each other bitches...lol

I have seen many times where a team gives away personal belongings to pay a cab and they never got a time penalty but all of a sudden its against the rules? Give me a break.


I like Keisha and Jen but fair is fair and that rule is bogus. Also why didnt they let them sit out the entire 4 hours instead of delay them further. Its like they are picking on the brothers.

It stated on the instruction paper. Failure to settle taxi bill *may* result in penalty.
 
The rules have changed each season. I'm sure they have a long list of rules that they have to play by (the taxi thing last show and moving the bike pump) that might have been allowed in previous years.
Also, since it was obvious they were last, there wasnt really any reason to just make them sit there that day to take their penalty time. This way they can go to the hotel and just leave 3 hours later tomorrow. Think of it as a 15 hour rest stop. ;) They were still going to be 3 hours later, but at least they could get some rest instead of just sitting in the grass for 3 more hours. Plus, I'm sure Phil didnt want to stand there for 3 more hours either.

I missed the preview but I've noticed since very early on Luke can really bitchy very easily. His mom is a wonderful woman and is really 99% responsible for their success. She's so patient and hardworking. He gets really impatient and bratty all the time. She has to do the communicating for him and her, including trying to translate EVERYTHING the other players say. Plus she does a lot of the harder challenges. For fuck's sake, she carried his sorry ass on the ricksaw.The least he could do is have a more positive attitude.
 
In Season 7, Uchenna and Joyce had to beg for money to pay their cabbie before they could sprint to the finish line to beat Romber. I doubt the rules have changed in the American version.

Why would teams be so stupid as to leave their belongings behind when they are boarding a boat to go to another location.

The midgets have a new record - most penalties imposed on one team in the history of the show. Even Phil seemed pissed at them when they stepped on the mat. Of course an airport equalizer could level the playing field - let's hope not.

My hubby does the perfect Luke impression, sounds a lot like a camel!!!

Well doesnt anyone else think that the preview for next week revealed the placements for next week based at who was at the mat during the huge fight!

Anywho, currently i love Keesha & Jen and hope they'll be the first female winners of this thing! I like Margie & Luke too and hate Tammy & Victor and Micheal & Mark! So if either win this will be another disappointing season.
 
They may be shown at the mat, but there can always be penalties or other things such as a "to be continued" leg that can make the actual results appear different than it shows. Being at the mat together doesn't indicate their placements does it?
 
The penalty affects their start time for the next leg, so whether Phil makes then stand for the full 4 hours and checks them in or does what he did, it will not change their start time. I fear an airport equalizer will cancel it all out anyway.
