Flash Thompson is a Marvel Universe character, while The Flash is a DC Universe character.

The Amazing Spider man is getting decent reviews and did great @ the box-office over the weekend.... No one I know has seen it...I'm a long-time fan of Tobey Maguire's film work and he truly OWNED Spider Man....
I might check out Skinny Jeans performance as Spidy sometime before it leaves the theatre..

I actually went to go see it on the Fourth of July with my brother, it was good in my opinion. I kinda of didn't like how they played out the Lizards plotline, but other than that it was good. I liked Andrew's portrayal of Peter Parker. He played geek well and seeing as how this was mostly a Peter Parker movie it was good. Emma Stone was also believable as a nerdy hot chick. My only other gripe is that we really don't get a decent bulge shot of Andrew in the Spidey costume.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was dreadful. I loved Andrew Garfield's interpretation of Spidey (much better than Tobey's) but the tone was so inconsistent and it tried so hard to be Batman. Why make Batman? You've got a great character you should be proud of having! If you want to make Batman, piss off to the other franchise!
