I am the opposite. I can't understand the joy of putting someone's penis in the same place as I put my food.....and I don't really understand what makes people cum when they give a bj? I don't mind individuals identifying as either exclusive tops or bottoms. Continuing with the plate theme, I do tend to view them much in the same way I see picky eaters. I think they're missing out on a lot of really good food, but if they're content with that then it would be silly to judge them. They're just doing what makes them happy and it's not hurting me in any way unless we're sharing a meal.

What I do dislike is when questions or speculations about the sexual preferences of other people are framed such that it must be either one or the other. Not just because it's often inappropriate or assumes (irrelevant) behavioural characteristics outside the bedroom determine preferences within it, but because gay men are incredibly diverse and too many of us don't even identify as either tops or bottoms. Hell, many of us don't even enjoy anal sex at all.

It's mildly annoying to me when people ask "are you a top or a bottom?" but my eyes roll into the back of my head when anybody responds to non-sexual behaviour by saying something like "he's such a bottom". Without remorse I will judge the fuck out of anybody who says that.
