Anyone else a fan??

I saw Mulholland Drive a while ago and immediately became a fan of his. I like that, when you see one of his films, it's a total mindfuck -- and you're in a haze afterwards...(or is that just me?)

Haven't seen Twin Peaks, which is probably what he's best known for -- but I did catch Blue Velvet the other night and fell even more in love with this man!

I loooove David Lynch. You should check out Eraserhead, it's probably the most confusing of them all, although I still have yet to see Inland Empire...

Yes yes yes yes yes ... I grew up watching his version of 'Dune', so cool regardless what others say
His best film is definitely 'Blue Velvet', one of those movies you must see before you die

Oh yes, there's a reason why his films are successful and have cult followings -

the public is not as dumb as Hollywood would like to think!

Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive - brilliant films that keep you thinking about them for days afterward...

You never forget a David Lynch film

I want to see Inland Empire too...

"Inland Empire" received terrible reviews when it was released in theaters, because, at three hours, it was an overdose of "Lynchian strangeness" that was too much for many to endure.

I watched it at home on DVD and really enjoyed it because I could pause it, take a break and then go back to it. That being said, I sat spellbound for long stretches of time.

Laura Dern was absolutely amazing in the film.

I've got to see "inland empire" and "twin peaks". (I keep telling t. boyfriend to netflix twin peaks, and he still hasn't done it.)

I would like to re-see pretty much all the ones that have been named that I have seen: mulholland drive, eraserhead.... I might have had enough of Blue Velvet, though.

What was the film before mulholland drive?

Before mulholland he did some documentary called the straight story, which I haven't heard much about, but before that was The Lost Highway which I've heard good things about

Seen;

Eraserhead
Blue Velvet
Twin Peaks (Season 1)
Mulholland Drive
Inland Empire

LOVE him. Mulholland is a modern masterpiece, Inland in indescribable and Eraser is a classic.

"The Straight Story" is not a documentary. It is a film based on a "true story" about two brothers. It is a very sweet, sentimental film that runs counter to the darker films that make up most of Lynch's output.

all this talk of Inland Empire is giving me a boner. True story.

MUST SEE THIS SOMEHOW.

gonna check out alluc.org......

anyone seen Dangerous Game with Madonna?

If you haven't seen it, check it ou. It reminds me of a Lynch film.

Lost Highway, that's the one I'm thinking of.

I had forgotten that "lorando" sequence, and since I watched it yesterday I can't get it out of my head. that's what happened the first time I saw it, too. I think I re-watched it like ten times before I turned the disc (or video or whatever it was) back in.

When you watch Twin Peaks be sure to watch the pilot episode first. It's not included in the box set (unless it's the Gold Box).

But that's not "Firewalk with Me," is it? I've been told to NOT watch that before doing the rest of the series....

Fire Walk with Me was made after the series ended. It's a prequel, but should be watched last.

The pilot is a feature-length episode. Also, be sure to watch the American version and not the European version which was intended as a stand alone movie and has a different ending.

Fire Walk With Me reveals the killer of Laura Palmer, the mystery at the heart of the TV series.

It is also one of the scariest movies I have ever seen ... and I have seen many scary movies.
