Please tell me someone else has seen this film! lol. The Bad Seed is a black/white film from the 1950s, and is about an 8 year old serial killer girl. Sure it's kind campy and overdramatic, but that's the fun of it - and I do find it more creepy/mentally stimulating than many modern horror films. If anyone out there has seen it, lemme know cause I'd love to discuss it :D

(btw- you can watch the whole film on youtube:

I've seen it many times! I love the end. They used many of the original cast in this film and staged it like it was in the theater. This gives the whole production a very over the top feel that I just love. Of course Hollywood had to change the ending...

I've seen it and loved it as well. I haven't seen the remake with Redgrave and Carradine, though.

I've seen this movie many times as well. It was actually one of my favorite B&W movies for a long time.

Can't get the bf to watch it because he won't watch B&W movies (doesn't know what he's missing, the fool).

I've seen it a few times and enjoyed it, except for the silly part at the end when she spanks Patty.

The remake was good. I love Blair Brown, and she was great in it, as was Redgrave. Didn't care for the ending.

the original was good. i remember enjoying the remake, but i barely remember watching it. heard they were working on another remake. wonder if they're scrapping it now that "Orphan" is out.

yay! people who have actually seen it! lol. Have yall read the book? It's really good too. I wonder if there's any way I can watch the re-make.

^ I agree. The "best" part is in the end credits though when the woman who plays the mother spanks the girl.

One of my favorites. My favorite scene is the begining when Henery talks to Rhoda telling her "we didnt have no picnics when i was your age. She responds with such a snotty way with "I dont care what you didnt have". The scenes with her and Henery were so classic.........

the movie is one of my top 5 camp movies of all times and if it could get better watch the dvd with a commentary with patty mc cormick and a nyc actor, producer, & drag queen charles burch. its 2 hours of non stop laughs.

Thats the version I have. Well worth it.

When I was young I watched it ith my parents. You remeber the end of the flim where she gets struck by lightening? My parents would say that what happens to bad kids they get stuck by lightening.

Is this the one where she beats someone to death with a pair of shoes because they had something she wanted?

If so, then I've only seen the small snipets that were shown in a Six Feet Under episode.
