It's good to know that 6 years on, CE&P is probably still derided as much as it was back then. In fact most of the comments about it still apply today!

There is a language for the young or hip or whatever I'm not, wherein the gifs either define the context of their comments or make an additional comment. I can only suppose they have a word document that lists the gifs under headings / topics. It might just be the evolution of the smiley faces.

As little love as I have for the GOP, "staggering rejection" implies landslides or runaway margins. Sadly, the country remains divided in nearly equal proportions, and with a polarizing tone being set by both parties.

I'm chagrined that third parties are killed in the cradle by direct action of the two ruling parties.

There are some issues there isn't plausible middle ground on. Like whether or not science is black magic.

I dislike the "both sides are to blame..." mindset when the question implies a false equality of merit between the two sets of ideas.

I'd say a lot get them from tumblr. You can type anything into Google images and get whatever you want these days. I love the Internet. It really has evolved since the sparse days of dial-up.

I spend a lot of time reading stories in the often overlooked "Gay Stories" section and I enjoy going through the "Straight & Bi" section and discouraging all the straight married men from cheating on their wives, lol. Hot Topics is cool too for the most part, but usually I feel like too much of an outsider to enjoy it as much as the others in the JUB clique. I check out the amateur showcase one in a blue moon.

I'm too scared to go back to the Fetish section.... "You must never go there." lol

When the JUB was more addictive, I was in the Coming Out & Relationships as well as the Religion & Spirituality. Now most of my time is spent in Bender's thread. I think the way "history" repeated itself in the Coming Out & Relationship - - - - I've a crush on my best friend, he's straight - - - just became too saddening the need for so many to be "accepted" in a physical way by people important to them.

I think it is a very good idea that the forums are split up into various interests. It makes it very easy, especially for us newbies, to avoid the contentious discussions and easily find the stuff that interests us
