The best song from the sixties?

Simon & Garfunkl :

The Sound of Silence

Scarborough Fair

(Simon heard the song sung in England, he wrote his own arrangement and with the words, copyrighted, he made money on what was a traditional English canticle.)

I loved this and it was the more famous one from Lulu

...but I loved this one ALOT more and it was my embarrassing "heartsick in love" song with my first boyfriend....we broke up...lots of drama...

I actually did love him though..just in a different way...until he died....

I still love this song too...

Oh Me Oh My (still have my 45 of this)

I agree with The Beach Boys but I would go with "God Only Knows" even over "Good Vibrations"...

And in a totally different vein The Who "My Generation"...

It's kind of funny to think that 60s' teens listened to these songs on little one-speaker pocket radios, and now, here we are again, listening to these songs on little pocket devices.

Stop in the name of love! =; Before you break my heart!

Peter, Paul, and Mary Blowing in the Wind

Who could forget this classic?
