It's really really cool how you can see the Earths rotation by watching the stars move (which I didn't notice until the second time I watched it)​

I have only seen the aurora lights from North Dakota and I am sorry to say but the clip is not even close to the beauty you see in the sky. It is something to see. Thank you for sharing the clip!!!!

Years ago, I lived in Kodiak, Alaska.

One of the memories that I will take with me to my last breath is laying on the hood of a 1973 Buick Skylark, on top of a moutain watching the "Northern Lights."

Thank you Jake for sharing that. I would love to see the Northern Lights. In Britain the Scots get to see them now and again I believe but certainly where I live it is very rare indeed and besides there is too much light pollution. When I can get out into the open countryside and it is a clear night, the spectacle of looking up at the thousands and thousands of stars nearly makes me cry.

I've never seen the northern lights that active, before. Once I saw them as far south as Comox, but it was faint and very subtle. Still, pretty cool.
