I love Janelle but the influence that Will has over her kills me. As far as this game goes I was hating chill town from the get go, but now I hope they win. They deserve it because they are the ultimate floaters in the house. Marcellas can go home tonite. He's really been irking me lately with all this smiling in the face and stabbing in the back but I believe that Janelle knew that he wasn't to be trusted anyway. Can't wait to see who wins the coup'.
 
Janelle will so be gone this week with Boogie having the Coup power.
I hate to see her go, but she is playing such a weak game this year...
I still love her though
 
Can anyone help me remember the double eviction week rules? How does the second nomination of the week occur? Does Chicken George retain HOH and nominate a second field or is a new HOH chosen after Sunday's eviction? Is there POV competitions for each set of nominations? Finally, with the coup, can Mike use it for the next two nominations or the next two weeks?
 
That's how it worked last season, as I recall someone saying that they barely got unpacked in the HOH bedroom before it was time to pass on the key.

What was the exact wording Julie gave Mike about the amount of time he had to use the Coup - was it to be used in three weeks or three evictions?
 
I went to the CBS website, the coup power was for the next three evictions (with just Sunday and Thursday remaining).
 
Poor Janey she doesn't even realize her only hope from here on out is being nominated so she can secure teh veto and avoid the coup. That being said I think it would be wise for Boogie to lay and wait. I mean maybe we'll have to see post veto nominations but loosing erika (what will happen after voting) isn't that big of a hit. He should save it until he NEEDS to save someone at the same time that's risking they don't get HOH.
 
I'm wondering if this is the right time for Booger to use the coup d' Etat...

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't it be smart of him to wait until after the veto competition/ceremony and then just before the Sunday elimination vote use it to overthrow George and put up Janey and whomever (pawn) for eviction...thus getting Janey out of the house. Is that what Chilltown wants? I know that's what Danielle, James and Erika would want...but I'm not sure if it's the best move for CT just yet. The only way Janey would be for sure safe would be if she was picked to play for Veto...won PoV and didn't use it (like foolishly to save James). I think Julie said the Veto holder cannot be voted out nor the overthrown HoH. If Janey won PoV...then Booger may have to hold onto the coup for a future elimination(?).

Booger has been lusting after Erika...I wonder if he will use it to save her. There's been talk that the two of them are secretly engaged...I think it's BS but who knows. If the nominations stay the same...between Erika and James...Erika would be voted out...wouldn't she? Danielle would totally freak if James got evicted. I just can't see the nominations staying the same...something is going to change them...PoV or Coup.

I was listening to House Calls earlier...Marcy was saying that he thinks the general feel in the house is that people want Janey to stay in now because everyone thinks they'll beat her for the 1/2 mil at the end. I don't think these people will risk keeping her around but you never know. My gut says Janey will be walking out the door on Sunday night but I hope not.

I'm starting to confuse myself...too many possible scenerios #-o

I can't see them doing that...it would for sure piss off Danielle and burn that bridge with her. Danielle would hunt them down and rip off their balls if they tricked her....why....she'd even team up with Janelle to pay them back (ha...that would be a hoot).

I think the alliance with James, Danielle and CT is the strongest in the house...so I'd be very surprised to see CT make a choice like that. Sure, CT is ultimately only loyal to themselves...but Janey and Howie are more expendable than Dani and James, and I think CT trusts Dani more than Janey/Howie. They have to make their decision on where they stand soon. I can see them perhaps not using it to get rid of Janelle yet...but James couldn't be the target to eliminate. Erika would have to be sacrificed...or god forbid she wins PoV...who would George put up?...it would have to be Howie or Janelle because George knows Booger would use the coup to save himself or Will, and George and Dani have an understanding..so she's safe. (I know...I'm speculating way too much...can't do this any more...brain starting to hurt)

Except that when they (CT) vote to eliminate someone...soon it will have to be one side or the other...only George and Erika (floaters) are left who they haven't got a fake alliance with (which I think they do have a fake...or maybe real...hmmmm ;) ....alliance with Erika) ...and George is safe through Sunday...so either Erika goes or CT has to make a decision on which fake alliance they are with...and my guess is they will pick James/Dani to stay with. I guess it really all depends on whether Booger and Erika are tight...and who wins PoV...and if it can be fanagled so that George goes up for Thursday eviction. Too many "what ifs"!

Okay...finally the show is starting to get interesting. ;)
 
It would not be intelligent for CT to use it on Janey and I think they know it. As long as Janelle is in that house everyone's trying to get rid of her and thats a good thing for CT. That's why they tried to get Danielle to nominate Marci instead of Kaysar. They keep targets in as long as possible. As far as Boogie keeping Erika for romantic reasons I think that he knows where the game ends and where real life begins. He's not gonna ruin a golden oppurtunity with the Coup by using it on her. On thing that kinda pissed me off though Janey won prom queen but couldn't compete in the HOH... so don't you think instead of no one getting the advantage she should've been allowed to pick who got it?

I hope you're right...the more I think about it, Erika is the only logical person to go...as far as CT is concerned... to keep their gameplay strong. (I have been routing for CT lately and I haven't been able to figure out why or even when it happened!:badgrin: )

I thought the whole prom thing turned out to be a waste of time...and Janey got robbed. Like you said...there should have been some kind of reward for her.
 
Well not for nothing? You knew Janey was HOH and one of the most popular in the house and you had all week to work on a plan B... didn't bother to think of anything?

I don't know. I didn't want CT to win in the beginning but haven't been rooting against them. I like Dani and Janey but I appreciate Will's gameplay. It's all falling in place very well for him. Dani and Janelle are gunning for me and running up a high mortality rate in the mean time. Either way CT is safe and by the time either Dani or Janelle suceeds well CT will be in a good position.

James won the veto, Howie went up.....Howie was evicted.....Boogie now won the HOH.... DAMN IT!!!!!!

I'm still befuddled as to why it appears that no one in the house seems particularly concerned with chilltown. They're running away whith the game and no one seems concerned. You know, they probably should win *shrugs*. Bravo to them for playing such a good game.

It's simple really. If Janelle approached Dani and said let's get out CT. Dani wouldn't bite. She'd still gun for Jani. Jani needs someone and CT is the only ones willing to deal. At teh same time they're playing just right of center against her cementing loyalty with everyone else. Basically... Janey needs them because they're prolonging her stay and they need to prolong her stay to keep eyes on her and away from them.
 
Well my thought is that the perk for the prom king/queen is they probably would've got to start out one step ahead... which brings me to the previous comment don't you think Janelle should've been able to give the privledge away?
 
I've absolutely ADORED Janie both seasons. She's such an amazing competitor too and soo entertaining to watch. I'd totally go straight for her, lol.
 
Boogie's pretty secure. He's no one's main target and he'd be one of the best to be with in teh Final 2 because you can say he just road Will's coattails and doesn't deserve to win. I I were in teh game I'd keep him around. My thought/hope is that Janey will make it to the final 2 and no one will want ot give her the money but in the end they will because they know she had to overcome a hell of a lot to make it there.
 
I hated to see Howie go tonight and Mike win HOH. It's obvious who he put up but I won't spoil that. I hope that Janelle makes it to the final 2 as well but it's gonna be hard to get there.
 
I so wanna say stuff I learned from live feed recaps but I won't spoil anything. I just advice you all go to jokerupdates and spoil it for yourself because the past 24 hours have been quite interesting.
