Well the new season is upon us. First show was just the other day. This show always amazes me, and I love Bob. Also happy that Jillian is back.

I'm liking the three teams this season...and how Jillian is back and training her team in secret. haha...I gotta tell ya...I've worked out to the Biggest Loser dvd's before...the first one with just Bob...was kinda sucky...the second one with him and Kim was a lot better and more intense...but i've also tried Jillian's dvd's...and holy shit I almost threw up from working so hard in like the first 10 minutes of it...she's crazy....but I think I would love to have her as a trainer...she'd woop my ass into shape literally!

I also enjoy watching the show to guess which of the contestants will be really good looking when they loose the weight...haha I know shallow...but sometimes they loose the weight and they just turn into a different person and are really attractive people under all that fat.

I'd give anything to make it onto that show.

The trainers are evil but that's what my fat ass needs.

^Join the club! I'm so happy Jillian is back. I like her sooo much more than Kim. Bob is hot as shit!

It always gives me hope that I can lose weight. So far I've lost 25lbs....I have a long way to go.

What's up with all the guys taking their shirts off before they are being weighed?

I mean these guys have boobs that are WAY bigger than most of the women on the show.

Mind you I am not advocating for the women to take their tops off, but it seems awfully hypocritical.

I don't get why they have to take their shirts off JUST when they're on the scale. How much can the shirt weigh? Is it going to make that big of a difference in their final number? Otherwise, it just seems cruel to make them stand there shirtless.

^^ - I think that the producers want them to take the shirts off so we can see the progress or how much weight they have lost. The women are just wearing a sports bra...men wearing a big shirt hides it.

It's always amazing to see how much progress they make. I usually hop on my treadmill every week while watching (along with other select shows) .. this is the time of year I usually shed 20 lbs or so, hoping that this year yields the same results.
They do have a good mix of contestants this year; waiting to see how the brothers work out, this is the first time they've had related contestants, isn't it?

There was an open casting call in Cleveland a while ago. Apparently, next season is going to be groups of people. They asked for families and friends to audition together. I wanted to do, but had no one to go with and I'm too shy anyway.

I love the show, and Bob and Jillian. Everytime I watch it it makes me want to excersize and stop eating the ice cream while watching it. lol Seriously though great show.

It truly is a great show ... watching the incredible transformations over several weeks is very inspiring. I'm glad Jillian is back too! I can't wait to see the reactions when her team is revealed tomorrow!

:)

me too...every season they have that one whiny bitch...and she usually lasts a few weeks good thing they got rid of this one quick

You know....Jillian's team didn't do that great except for the twins. If it wasn't for them, they wouldn't have won. That one girl has only lost 5 pounds in the last two weeks...that is not good.

Oh that is fucking bullshit. I can't believe that they got rid of Jerry. Yeah he may have been a big threat, but he was the man carrying your team. If it wasn't for Bob, I would wish everyone on that team get sent home. Jerry looked good though at the conclusion of the show. Lost 88 pounds!

On last night’s episode of The Biggest Loser 4, Jillian Michaels told her team, “I missed this job, you know, when I didn’t do it last year, I missed it, but I forgot how much.” With her recent return to the show after a one-season absence, the question lingers: Why did she leave in the first place? She revealed why—in an interview earlier this year.

Comparing the American version to the Australian version, on which Jillian was a trainer, she told Who magazine, the Australian version of People, “For Loser in the States, they just made me look like a crazy person in the gym and it’s not who I am. Yes I am, but there’s a good reason and there’s a method behind my madness, I just started to feel limited by the portrayal so if I did go back, I don’t know. You never say never and if I did go back it would definitely have to be a scenario where I’d felt like I’d already expanded my brand and for it not to be a small facet of my reality and go it’s almost like a character that I’m seeing on TV.”
Jillian also said, besides the editing, she didn’t like the show’s artificial drama. “Bob and I are in, I can honestly say, five minutes of the American show, and it’s whatever kind of BS story they want to create,” she said. “I’m through with that. Through with the, like the whole eliminating 36 people in the lawn then having them all cry. I was like, you know what, find someone else, I’m not going to do it.”

Although it was conducted in February, it’s interesting considering the changes made for the fourth season besides Jillian’s return: For one, the trainers now attend the weigh-in (where Jillian tends to look extremely bored), and are included in the deliberations for who to the team will send home. And while the show did eliminate a group of people and make them cry during the first episode, Jillian came in to train them. But they were still standing there, crying, emotionally manipulated for entertainment.

Last year was very cruel. The whole 50 states thing and sending home three quarters of the people in the first fifteen minutes was mean. I can see why Jillian didn't want to take part in that, especially since the trainers were the ones who picked the lucky few who made it.

However, it seems kind of stuck up of her to complain about how much she's on each episode and how she's portrayed on the show. It doesn't really matter because, in reality, the trainers are the ones changing these people's lives, whether that gets edited into the show or not. You'd think she'd care more about the people she's helping than her public image.

Well the finale was last night. It was amazing to see the amount of weight SOME of the people lost. The reason I say some, is because others seemed like they weren't very far along.

Both the twin brothers won. They looked absolutely jacked and buff.
