Well, I did it! I finally joined the ranks and bought my first Blackberry today... well, actually my company did. :p

I have to admit it's somewhat overwhelming at first... I am amazed at all the features they've packed into that little thing! It even knows when you put in its case and goes into sleep mode!

Any Blackberry users out there to help out a newbie like me? The manual (as you probably know) lacks a great deal, but the navigation is pretty easy. The thing that intimidates me the most is downloading new apps for it. Are those stored in the device itself or are they stored on the memory card? I know that's where the photos/vids/music is stored... I think...???

I'm not exactly electronically-challenged but that little thing just seems a bit overwhelming for some reason.

I'm tempted to join the ranks of Blackberry users, but haven't made the plunge yet.

All I can tell you, Ace, is the damn things are addictive!

Congratulations, I don't think Blackberry's are so impressive though. The Curve and Storm are the best so just stay legit(no crackberry) and get stuff from the phone: games, tones, backgrounds.

I think Blackberry has their own apps site now??? It was supposed to go on-line April first. I need to Google it and see...

Yep! It's called "Blackberry App World"... To shop the store from the your Blackberry, first you have at download the free store app from http://www.blackberry.com/appworld

Think I'm gonna check it out! :)
