The Boyfriend Material: Jocks or Dorks?

Hi guys,
so do you prefer the jocks or the dorks as your boyfriend? Personally I prefer dating the regular guy with the dorky look. I found that the dorks are cuter than the jocks and I found them as the keeper, but I don't mind to dating jocks but again, I still prefer the dorks as the keeper .
How about you guys? any more specific qualities that you looking from someone that could be categorized as your boyfriend material?

There's nothing precluding a guy from being both simultaneously. I'm a guy like that. I love rugby, skiing, and weightlifting (and swimming too), all of which I do on a fairly regular basis especially the last two, but I'm also a geophysicist. My job is awesome. I love playing video games too and computer programming.

I like guys who can't be defined by just one label.


A sporty guy who also loves dorky stuff, a smart guy who also enjoys dumb films, a funny guy who knows when to take himself seriously, etc. etc. It may sound too ideal, but it's actually not. Most guys don't fall under one label or the other. And if they do, then I wouldn't really consider them boyfriend material.

My experience in a nutshell. (I wasn't literally in a nutshell, it's a figure of speech)

Jocks tend to be high maintenance. Fine if they're doing all the maintaining.

Dorks are cute and cuddly but sometimes too passive in bed. Fine if I can have a jock on the side.

My BF is pretty much a jock while I am pretty much a geek. It works out pretty well for the two of us.

I'm not into sports, I hate the outdoors, and I view exercise as a necessary evil, not something to be enjoyed.

You don't walk and play with your dog? Hell my dog is a lazy sack of crap but he's got a good 10 minutes of running/playing in him a day.

Definitely Dorks. I am so attracted to nerds, and find most jock guys kinda more interested in themselves, and hot hot they think they are. I wish i had a dork boyfriend right now....
