The BP "Three Little Pigs" memo

can you point to an expert saying this?

Do yourself a favor and learn how to use google. Its getting a little tiring pointing things out to you that you should (hopefully) have the capacity to find yourself.

There is also information that the oil will mostly evaporate or be broken down by bacteria thanks to the Gulf, but that it DOES pose a huge risk to marshes and swamps on the coast because this type of oil is pervasive in those specific environments.

If I came in here making some silly claim using the say so of a few "scientists" on the payroll of the oil industry, you'd ask me to cite a refrence too.

And rightly so.

If I want to make a point I won't just post "Laura Bush was having an affair with Condoleeza Rice, you go find some proof using Google."

You want me to buy your big bag of bullshit, post a fucking link.

so even you concede that it's not going to be all gone in a year all by itself with no trace at all.

Glad we agree.

In the marshes in Louisiana, yes. However, no one knows how long it will last in the gulf proper. Since the gulf is a living breathing thing, who knows how quickly the combination of evaporation, processing/collection, and bacterial breakdown will get rid of the crude. There are too many variables right now, and the most important thing is getting the leak stopped.

Oh, and I like how you conveniently ignored links that proved you wrong. Not that I would have expected anything better from the likes of you...

I don't believe you.

That's your foolishness.

That's idiotic.

Incorrect. There were two leading candidates, and it wasn't Obama who chose Palin to be. Heartbeat from the presidency.

But if you, in your self loathing, prefer to vote for Palin it's your vote. You have my pity.

Did you even read this one?

This is citing some guy who says that since a couple of tankers-worth of oil wasn't that big a deal back in 1979, this "might" be the same... even though it's about 125,000 times more oil this time, seeping into the marshes.

I especially like quotes like "very little oil has hit shore" and "I don't believe that the spill, the BP oil spill will take care of itself."

It also includes the quote "it was about what your wife finds in the sink when she's washed the salad bowl"

Before you act all big and smart and act like finding a link on google first makes you the winner... learn to read.

Unfortunately, raging testosterone often gets in the way of common sense.

One has only to peruse the CE&P threads to understand that.

The "I'm right and you're not" mindset often misses the real point of the matter.
