sometimes I wonder if Christina doesnt care anymore. like maybe shes jaded or something. She's had #1 albums and singles. Gone on highly successful tours. Done movies. Done television. 5 grammies. Maybe it really doesnt matter to her if Lotus is commercially successful.

This could be true because people sometimes forget she's a mother now so her priorities have probably shifted. She could just be putting out albums for full fulling contract obligations. Many singers who are filthy rich do this actually. If I worked my ass off in my early adult life and was a multi millionaire by the time I was 30, I'd stop working too and just enjoy myself because I've earned it.

I don't know how demanding her business is but I'm guessing promotion, touring, gigs, recording, rehearsals, photo shoots, etc. can all be heavily time consuming on someone who's a single mom. And yes I know she can hire a nanny and all that shit but maybe she just wants to spend time with her son herself.

Do I like Lotus? No. But I do like some of the ballads there which I've purchased. And Christina is a singer who could at any time surprise us in the future with a massively successful album if she wanted to get serious again. And even if she chooses not to record anymore she's set for life anyways. However it would be a shame if she stopped recording. I don't care if her albums sell 10k or 1 million+++ in the future, her voice is epic and her ballads are flipping amazing, so I really hope she keeps recording!

I mean I liked the strippedtina and the BTBtina even the bionictina but i cannot support what she's become with this record.
There's nothing for the fans except pink wigs and queer performances and i wont be part of it.

I wont turn my back on her because she still did great things. But at this point there's not gonna be any lotus tour, and not any promotion for Lotus.

Im still waiting for a REAL come back but even her voice seems weak like she's not even trying to work on it.

ANd even if lotus is good, i just listen to a few songs thats it, and that the first time it happens to me.

So yeah Im disappointed and if she wants to keep up like this its her choice but it'll be mine not to followher anymore. Sadly

I'm actually a bit bored with her right now, to be honest. But there's plenty of music from the past I'll replay from time to time. I just find myself not really caring what she's up to at this point.

She doesn't seem to give a damn, and neither do I.

So true. I don't care either. Had a fun ride with her but at this point I'm indifferent. I'll still play Stripped, Back to Basics and Bionic songs. Just think her contemporary music is irrelavent to my taste. I've never been on the Max Martin train (hence my dislike for Britney's music), and never probably will. Not my style. Gotten to the point all of the songs in the last three years in modern pop sound the same.

It's sad for me to read stuff like this . I think you guys are a good example of why she isn't as successful as she used to be, I'm not blaming it on you, I'm blaming it on her. I mean, if she promoted like crazy and people noticed she does care, she wouldn't be losing fans left and right like you 3.

She whatever the fuck you want about Britney, her voice, and her songs there is no denying the fact that she makes some of the BEST dance/club songs these days, way better than many other people out there. She knows exactly how to make a hit. She's a fucking genius that way. You can quote me on that.

Christina to me comes across as a good girl pretending to be bad when she gets all Dirrty and stuff with her lyrics, songs, and videos. Britney comes across as a bad girl acting good which serves her better. Britney's voice is always taking a backseat to her production, but I think for some reason it works. It's actually a relief to sometimes hear a sort of okay voice with sick beats as opposed to just too many vocal runs, etc.

If Britney recorded Your Body it would have been #1. It just doesn't suit Christina.

Zero promotion from her, not even in the video, but the song is fucking amazing.

Should have stayed on the meth, I would definitely be a Britney follower if all of her music was like Blackout (love Toy Soldier, but in reality they're all pretty good). Joking aside she's always had a better marketing and production team than Christina, although Christina's had far better songwriters...but lyrical depth doesn't really sell Top 40.

I have never listened to a Christina album in the past, but I got Lotus, and honestly every song is awesome to me. I'm really proud, she's sounding great, and the songs are catchy. I love it!

Christina has the worst rap ever, people see her as a nasty bitch, and to be honest her music is really not that good, she oversings, her lyrics are over the top narcissistic and her albums are 50% fillers.

What Xtina should do is to get a manager who's only in charge of her like Britney's, Britney has an amazing team of people, they make her really sucessful despite her little efforts.
