It has been officially announced by herself that the new album is entitled: BIONIC

The first single seems to be : GLAM described as "a poppy hip-hop inflected throwback to Madonna's Vogue"

Confirmed tracks:

- You Lost Me
- Lullaby (Dedicated to Max, her son)
- Monday Morning
- Sex For breakfast
- Glam
- Bionic
- Listen Up
- My So called Life
- Beauty Queen
- Badass

One of the few producers on this record:
Christina Aguilera, Linda Perry, Goldfrapp, Ladytron, Sia Furler, M.I.A., Le Tigre, Santigold, Switch, Focus, Diplo, Dan Carey, Oscar Ramirez, John Hill, Sam Endicott, Claude Kelly, Steve Morales, Dr. Luke, Paul Sheehy, Detail, Tricky Stewart

She also confirmed a world tour coming for 2010...

Enjoy :D

T4P!!!

I can't wait for this one!

I'm just in awe of the amazing roster of producers!!

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

YES!!!
I love her

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

Look forward to it and IMO it's fantastic that she's working with Santigold.

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

That's a pretty awesome list of collaborators (well, maybe except Linda Perry).

I heard she was supposed to record a cover of Ladyhawke's My Delirium. I wonder if it's still happening.

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

I'm very excited for this one. It kinda sucks that she takes so much time btwn albums and all the annoying people put new shit out every 6 months.

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

I could really get into her if she would stop the caterwauling on every single song she does.

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

together with perry she came out with a hit like "beautiful" and recieved a grammy for it

I find Linda Perry a little safe and predictable in her songwriting/producing. It looks like Christina is going outside of her normal boundaries for this album by working w/ more indie artists like Santigold, Le Tigre, Sia, Ladytron, MIA, Goldfrapp, etc., but holding onto Linda Perry is sort of odd. I just hope the Perry track(s) doesn't stick out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the songs.

Yes she has the case of "diva over-singing syndrome."

However, in the new Marie Claire article, she says she's learned to use a voice better and isn't afraid to "sing less" anymore.

I think might be because early on in her career, she's felt that she had to prove that she could really sing, so maybe the belting is just habit.

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

My So called Life & Beauty Queen are not her tracks , anyway I wonder if it's gonna be one CD or double like B2B

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

Back to Basics will be hard to top, but this should be a interesting year for music.(!)

Cautiously optimistic. Interesting collaborators for the most part.

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

Rumors this is either Christina or Goldfrapp

Re: Aguilera: Bionic [Spring 2010]

I'm a bit worried that promotion for the album will get fucked over by promotion for her new movie Burlesque.

But Christina Aguilera/Mainstream music fans should be really happy to know that her lead single "Glam"(as well as other songs) is being produced by the team of Tricky Stewart and The Dream who together have worked on Rihanna's "Umbrella", Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body, Beyonce's "Single Ladies" as well as many other huge hits.
