It's over for Xtina with this record unless they're making very good decisions for 2nd and 3rd single...


Even if I dont think it'll match the album, and even if it's not my favs songs on the record I do think that a prima donna or I hate boys could win over radios. Those two tracks are very radio friendly. Add you lost me as a 3 single and you can make something out of this album.


But honestly lately I want to shake some sense into the girl !!!
Not myself tonight is the WORST single she could ever release and a Woohoo couldnot win over new fans !!!

I do hate the video for 'Not Myself Tonight' but I love the song. But I don't think her album is done. I don't see where all the hate comes from for this album. I'll admit some songs just don't work but it does have some awesome songs.

She needs to release either 'Prima Donna' or 'Little Dreamers' as the next single.

I actually disagree. She didn't promote the album heavily at all. Prior to the album's release she performed three times, One of which wasn't even her lead single. Most of an albums first week sales are made on the release day and to get people to want an album you have to convince them that the music is GOOD not just show up on magazine covers.
Now don't get me wrong, Christina is one of my top 3 artists but if you wanna sell records you have to create momentum for it. Which is my main concern for "Woohoo". It was released one month ago and has been performed in full ZERO times, with no music video or other promo. This upsets me because I think Woohoo would go over well not only with Christina Fans but everyone looking to party.

Sorry but it's pretty disappointing. Yeah, the songs don't suck but they're not great at all...

Kelis KILLS it with her new album and venture into 'electro'. If only Christina's album could compare.

Hmmm. I don't think it will bottom out. I feel it will start out slow and eventually boom with the right single (Prima Donna or something else as friendly...Desnudate is horribly addictive).

She just needs to fire her marketing team...and most importantly kill shit (Gaga) with that voice of hers.

I think the album has alot of potential to grow over the following months. Remember Stripped was flopping hard at first, until they released "beautiful" as a single.

I read that Bionic only sold 200K copies worldwide (111K coming from the US alone) That is sad...

Anyways, Christina Aguilera confirmed that "You Lost Me" is the 2nd single. The song wont go anywhere but at least she is finishing this era with class. After that flops, I dont see Aguilera pushing any more singles off this album. The album really has no hits

I never really cared for her but this year is about collabos. Unless you got some hot artist next to you ("telephone" has Beyonce and "California Gurls" has Snoop Dogg. I could go on-and-on) you won't get far unless you're already current.

It was confirmed but a RCA employee who works for CA.com said it's not a single :confused:

mess of a label.

Personally her album is nothing new or risky.... people are not interested her. plain and simple

It's amazing how much "coverage" the sale of her album is getting though. Granted it's her "comeback", seems to me people are either loving her "flop" or are actually waiting for something good to come out. I don't think 200k after less than a month is that terrible though. I know Kylie Minogue was/is not as big as Christina globally, but the gap between "Body Language" & "X" was also 4 years. "X" now that's a massive flop having only sold 1 Million worldwide. I hope she does release "You Lost Me" as the 2nd single, it'll easily top the Adult Contemporary Charts and it's a very refreshing single compared to what's currently out there.

Christina's Back To Basics sold around 350K in its first week in the US.

Today, Bionic sells 200K copies worldwide. That is a major flop

Radio wont play that song because of its message. She also cant perform it anywhere. Even MTV censored her performance of it. Its a flop waiting to happen

Not a Christina fan. I got sort of interested when it was announced that she was collaborating with some of the artists that I like...so I dowloanded her album. I'm on board with Elastic Love. I think that it should be a single. In fact I think it should have been the first single if she was really serious about giving the fans a different sound like she was blabbing about for years. Not really original but it sounds interesting, It's deffinitely an MIA track and the beats could easily be on Peaches next album. A sound that is new to most Christina fans and a sound that may get the pitchfork crowd a little interested.

Which is strange considering Britney just had a song about a threesome earlier this year/late last year.
