I couldn't get into the show much at the very beginning, but I did wind up liking it towards the end of the season. I'd like to see this come back.

from what I've been reading on entertainment sites, it hasn't been determined which shows are coming back next season. the networks haven't announced which shows have been picked up or what's new for the fall season.

I sure hope it does! it's such a great show! That and "How I Met Your Mother" are two of my favorite sitcoms on the air right now...right up there with The Office and Scrubs.

I love the show. I think it will probably come back for another season... they seem to be juggling around it, New Adventures of Old Christine and the David Spade on. My guess is for the latter to be the one to go.

and I mean come on it won the People's Choice Award this year...that's gotta count for something...haha

It is not a good show by any means, but dang it, I'm addicted to it... not sure why, but I am.

I love that show!
It has great writing, and it was developed by the same guys who did Friends and Mad About You. Then we have the greatest sitcom director in TV history James Burrows and the actors (Jason Ritter and Jon Bernthal OMG!)
and funny Jesse Tyler Ferguson who plays Richie are among a very talented cast.
I have several episodes saved on my DVR to get me through till CBS decides if the show will be picked up, which wont be until May.
You can go to http://www.cbs.com/primetime/the_class/ they used to have a lot of clips there perhaps you can still see them.
Last month the website had a live run through of one of the episodes as well as the table read which was a lot of fun. You might still be able to see that on the website.

I like it too, but someone at Entertainment Weekly or TV Guide said its season finale last Monday was probably its series finale. I hope they're wrong.

That is pure speculation based on the ratings which have been fair to good but below expectations for CBS. There are a lot of people trying to save the show, and there was some talk of re-testing the show in April. The final decision will come in May.

Hate to burst anyone's bubble, it's official now. The Class has officially been cancelled.

I heard the bad news, CBS has decided to stick with "Rules Of Engagement" and some new sitcom for Monday nights. A pox on them :grrr:

I'm sad it wasn't picked up, but they started messing around with the format in a stab for ratings, and it wasn't as good. They certainly started playing down the gay characters.

actually towards the end Sean Maguire's character got more airtime then he did when he had the boyfriend with him. The reason that he kinda joined the Jason Ritter storyline was because the actress who played the news reporter left the show because she didn't get enough screen time and since they were kinda a joined storyline he had to get bumped to one of the bigger storylines which gave him more screen time. So really...they didn't play it down....he just wasn't with his boyfriend he was with a friend...haha
