I loved that book! I thought the film was good too, Whoopi Goldberg was amazing as Celie. Ah I really want to read it again, now. :)

What's this about a reunion?
 
Damn...Harpo looks like he hasn't aged AT ALL!!!


Now I'm kinda pissed, thinking about how this movie was screwed at Oscar time.
 
My favorite film. I'll have to watch the 3:00 a.m. rerun in our area. :(
 
Fortunately I caught the re-run and I'm glad I was able to do so. It was a very nice look back.

Willard seems like a naturally funny person who would be a trip to be around. After all these years, Shug's "You sho is ugly!" line still makes me roll on the floor.
 
Watching the show right now, and I CANNOT BELIEVE how good everyone looks!!! 25 years?! Damn...we really do age well, don't we? Lol.
