So many reasons too. Destructive and self-destructive mind sets, no accountability or able to know/understand the consequences, porn culture "pushing" bareback sex as the norm, lack of sexual/health education, etc. I could go on about why this is.

Yeah, this factor...sex education is absolute anathema to "social conservatives" these days, and they're wielding their power on so many school boards, even often in states or regions which are otherwise "blue."

I often wonder what the mindset is of these "conservative Christians" are that oppose stuff like sex education, equal opportunities for women, gay rights, etc. Sex education is what really kills me, they were young and horny at one time, kids are going to have sex and fool around no matter what, better that they know the facts, risks and why they should use protection.

To me their attitude to that pregnant teenager is "well serves that harlot right" or the gay man with HIV "well that's god's punishment for being a degenerate faggot". Judge, Judge, Judge those that aren't like you or make poor life choices. God forbid you do like Jesus and try to lift up the less fortunate or respect your fellow man who is different than you.

Cannot be highlighted enough, condoms do work, better than Prep, 87%. People are getting lazy, many no longer see HIV for what it is, a very clever virus, adept at hiding for years in our bodies.

It is also very much an equal opportunity infecter, nor does it care if this was your first time or your fiftieth time. You give it the opportunity, and it will grasp said opportunity.

Education, education, and more education. And enough already that we don't have to worry about it any more. I mean. They have a tablet for it now? Right?
