Chapter 434 – Dylan Is Celebrated
Caleb’s request for us to tell anyone looking for him that he wasn’t back from Break yet, sounded rather fishy to all of us. Still, we didn’t know who they were. After Chase and Caleb left for the Arena, I told Dustin to be sure and find out how they knew Caleb and if there was any possibility they could be of help to us. I told him to do a little in investigative work, ask a few questions. We could tell them we’d let Caleb know they stopped by when he returned. Dustin said we could bet our asses, he’d try to get to the bottom of what this was all about. I told him he was a good man. For that, I got a hug.
Terry had texted Blake that Ty could meet with him around 10:00 on Friday, and hoped that would be okay. Blake was all excited, saying he was really going to pick his brain this time. Tim wasn’t sure why he was going to all that trouble, supposedly leaving Saturday, or at the latest, Sunday, which Tim was hoping for, even if it got Blake in trouble with is girlfriend. In Tim’s mind, the more problems Blake had with his girlfriend, the better it was for Tim. I guess you could look at it that way.
When I asked if anyone wanted to go to court with us this morning to support Dylan, everyone volunteered, even Blake, who said he couldn’t help but really care about the guy, and he wanted to help us support Dylan in any way he could. I had to rustle up the rest of the sleepy heads to get them in the shower with all of us to get ready. Dylan was supposed to be back to us by 9:00 so we could get him all nice and pretty by Court time. He insisted on going to work this morning, thinking it would calm his nerves some, as he was nervous, even though he wanted us to believe he wasn’t.
Everyone in the shower together, kind of created a mini-orgy. I don’t think there were any orgasms, but there were some playful penetrations and much fondling and even a little oral. Let’s just say, all those naked guys in the shower together got everyone a little horny, even after the hot night of sex most of them had. Still, it was neat to see all the guys have that much fun with one another. I could only imagine what initiation night might be like, after seeing the antics in the showers with all the guys. Blake had his eyes opened some, but seemed to take it all in stride, even the minor fondling he got from some of the guys wanting to feel his junk and size him up some. He kind of got a kick out of it in a way.
Most of the guys finally got dressed up in nice slacks and a nice sweater. I had a nice outfit for Dylan all laid out for him when he got back. He arrived right at 9:00, nervous as hell. I quickly threw him in the shower and scrubbed him down, trying not to horn him up in the process. He joked about it, telling me to make sure I got all the smegma out of his foreskin. I had to laugh, knowing how clean he kept himself, but ran my soapy finger inside of his foreskin around the head of his penis, nonetheless. He gave me a kiss for that, and a semi-boner to boot. I slapped his little tight ass, making him smile. I dried us off, then lifted his arms to apply some deodorant, then gave him a squirt of my cologne, making him smell masculine. I handed him some of his clean white baggy boxers, which he said he felt the most comfortable in. Then I gave him his nicely pressed white shirt to go with his dark blue slacks I had for him. He looked so cute, I just wanted to hug him every chance I got. Then I pulled a sweater over his head and pulled the collar of his pressed shirt through his sweater neck opening. He looked so collegiate and so damned cute. I combed his hair for him also. When we finished, he looked fantastic. He hugged me and kissed me, then thanked me again for loving him like I did. I told him it was impossible not to love him, as wonderful as he was. I told him we all loved him. When we finished, I presented him to his family of friends, who gave him an applause. Dylan was really touched by their support. Then I grabbed our coats, and we all walked the few blocks to the police station and court house. Conner and Neal, dressed in their formal ‘go to court’ uniforms, met us there.
“Wow, you look sensational, Dylan,” Conner told him. Dylan gave Conner a big hug, thanking him again for everything he’d done for him, crediting him again for saving his life. He even gave Neal a hug also, telling Neal he was even starting to like him more, making us all laugh. Conner looked at the troops in tow. There was Aiden, Dustin, Zach, Brady, Edgar, Jeb, Allen, OBB, Terry, Luke, Trevor, Andy, Ashton, Tim, Blake, Eric, Trent, Todd, Chad, Buzz, Fritz, Doug, George, Jake and me. I was sure there were more, but I got distracted with Conner and Neal ushering us into the court room. Conner told us that when Dylan’s case was called, Dylan, me, Jake and Conner would approach the podium directly facing the judge and listen to his questions. Conner told Dylan to always address the judge as ‘your honor’. If he was asked yes or no questions, he should always answer the question ending with ‘your honor’, such as ‘yes, your honor’ or ‘no, your honor’. Conner told me to pinch his ass if he forgot, so as to remind him how to respond. Dylan said rather confidently, ‘he had this’. I was nervous as hell, hoping he had. We sat near the front so we could approach the bench quickly when called. There were several lawyers in front of us. Many of the lawyers were running around talking to clients or other lawyers or prosecutors. It was hard to keep track of who was talking to who and for what.
The bailiff announced we should all rise, right at 10:00. We all stood up. The bailiff announced the honorable Judge Mark Albright would be presiding. Judge Albright told us to have a seat and the bailiff to call the first case. The first case was an arraignment. The court deputy hauled a young man in handcuffs up to the podium and stood beside him, his hand on the young man’s arm.
“In the case of Mitch Sanders for armed robbery, how do you plead?” the judge asked. The court appointed attorney said his client was entering a plea of ‘not guilty’. The judge asked if that was what Mr. Sanders wished to plea. He answered, ‘yeh’. The judge looked at him sternly. Then his attorney whispered something in his ear and Mr. Sanders corrected himself and said, ‘yes, your honor, not guilty’. The judge told him that was a better answer. Then the prosecutor announced they wanted him remanded to county jail and asked for bail to be set at $150,000, as this was the young man’s second offense for robbery, but his first for armed robbery.
“Seems as if Mr. Sanders likes our luxury accommodations in our country jail. Looks like you might be spending a lot of time with the state. You seem to like it so well, you continue to try to return,” the judge commented. The attorney for Mr. Sanders objected, but the judge told him to ‘can it’. I was rather impressed with this judge, but disappointed to see a young man in so much trouble at such a young age, making me think about Dylan, and how scared he must have been, although cocky to cover up his insecurity at the time of his arrest and incarceration.
There were a half-dozen more arraignments and continuances before they called Dylan’s name. Conner, Neal, Dylan, Jake and I walked up to the podium. The judge paused for a few moments to reacquaint himself with the case, reading on his laptop. “Okay. Says here that you are petitioning the court for a release from probation, under the recommendation of Captain Conner Williamson, him saying you successfully and honorably completed all necessary requirements to live among the community as a responsible law-abiding citizen and will contribute to the community. Is that a fair assessment, Sir?” the judge asked. Dylan answered, ‘yes, your honor’. The judge smiled. “I have read numerous reports associated with your case. I have to say, I am deeply impressed by what you’ve been able to accomplish since you were given probation instead of jail. I know the program you participated in was one set up by our Captain Williamson, who believes in the reforming capabilities of putting offenders into the community with those that will sponsor them to help rehabilitate them to become responsible citizens. I have to say, I have been leery of this program in the past, because it seems to fail more than it succeeds. Although, I have to say, Captain Williamson has selected excellent candidates, and has had remarkable success with his program. You are a very fortunate young man, Sir. I would like to hear from your sponsors as to their opinion of your ability to lead a productive law-abiding life. My notes say we have Josh and Jake here as your sponsors. Which one of you wants to speak on Dylan’s behalf,” the judge asked. Jake hit me, telling me to do it.
“Your honor, it has been our privilege to have Dylan live with us and work with us in our business. He has shown exemplary talent and caring for his work and consideration and care for those of us that accepted him into our lives. I have to say, it was a little shaky at the beginning, mainly because he had never had anyone care about him before with his broken family life growing up. He only broke the law for self-preservation at the time, but realized the errors of his ways. He trusted no one at the beginning, and we could understand why. But, working along side us, he began to trust us, and we began to trust in him. We all have marveled at his accomplishments, and most of all how he cares about people and especially his friends. We couldn’t have a better more wonderful friend than Dylan, and he continues to grow in our business organization, headed for a supervisory type of role and beyond. As a matter of fact, he is becoming a shareholder in our organization this coming week, we were so proud of his accomplishments. Dylan will be a terrific member of our community and one our community, the police force, his fellow friends and employees can and already are, extremely proud of. You couldn’t ask for a more model citizen,” I testified. The judge looked impressed.
“Officer Conner, what say you? I’ve read your glowing report on this young man, but if you would tell the court what you believe, I think everyone here needs to hear it,” the judge asked.
“Your honor, everything Josh said is true. Dylan has continued to amaze us in so many wonderful ways. He’s a totally different person than he was when you granted him the opportunity to go into this program. We couldn’t ask for a better citizen than what you have standing before you. He’s everything Josh said he is, and we are all terribly proud of him. Look at all the young men sitting behind us here, that came to support him. They all care about him and he cares about them. They support him and he supports them. He’s one of the winners of this program, your honor, a program I hope you will continue to support in the future when we present candidates,” Conner said.
“I have to say I am impressed. Are Josh and Jake up for more parolees?” The judge asked. “Seems as if they did one hell of a job with Dylan here,” the judge commented. Jake and I looked a little shocked, and surprised that the judge asked if we were up for more candidates for the program. Conner answered for us.
“I’m sure as wide ranged as their company is rapidly becoming with the help of Dylan and all those nice young men here to support him, it offers an opportunity for more possible candidates in the future, but they have done an exceptional job with Dylan here. He’s worked hard and earned his freedom which it is the hope of all of us here today that you will grant, your honor,” Conner replied.
“I want all the rest of you that are sitting here today in one kind of mess or another to take note of what this gentleman has become. He overcame the trouble he was in and made a success of himself. It’s in the power of all of you to change and become a responsible citizen, but you have to want that to get there, and I think we’ve shown that having great sponsors to help you along goes a long way to rehabilitation also. Dylan, do you have anything to add to this before I rule?” Judge Albright asked. Dylan cleared his throat.
“I want to thank your honor for allowing me to participate in this program Officer Williamson recommended me for. He saved my life, your honor. That was the start. These two individuals standing beside me, Josh and Jake, cared about me and helped me through some extremely troubling times. They showed me how powerful it is to care about other people and how rewarding it is to help others that need help. They truly changed my entire life. I couldn’t be a happier person than I am today, your honor. I have a great job that I absolutely love, thanks to Josh and Jake. I have a family of friends that support me in every way possible, and make it easy for me to care about and support them. I don’t know who I was before, listless, ambitionless, non-caring, angry at times, and just useless to anyone but myself and sometimes useless to myself. I was just trying to survive when I got in trouble. Today, that’s all changed, thanks to the care and support of Officer Williamson, Josh and Jake and the many guys here supporting me. I feel fantastic, have ambitions again, have dreams that are coming true, and I care about everyone once again. They all changed my life from something horrible to something wonderful. For that I couldn’t be more grateful, your honor,” Dylan stated. I could tell the judge was impressed.
“Like I said, the rest of you in this courtroom should take note of the success of this individual. Captain Williamson, you are to be commended for the excellent job you’ve done with your program. I’m looking forward to you putting more individuals through it and gaining good success like you have in Dylan’s case. Dylan, by my order your probation is ended, and there are no longer any concerns of the court for matters that took place in the past. You are a free man, Sir. Go forth and use your talents and care for people wisely. I have nothing but high hopes for your continued prosperity and wellbeing. Thank you for what you were able to achieve, and may you serve as a model for others to follow,” he said. “Let me just sign this writ and you can be on your way,” the judge added, signing a piece of paper, then handing it to the bailiff. The bailiff called us over to a side desk, where copies were made. We were handed two copies of the writ, then Conner ushered us out of the court room, followed by all the guys that came with us. Once outside Dylan leaped into my arms and hugged me tightly, tears flowing. There were cheers and hugs. Everyone wanted to hug Dylan. Dylan, was in tears, but happy and excited, a large dark unsettling and nightmarish part of his life finally over for good. Conner and Neal got huge hugs also. I told them all to come for dinner tonight as drinks and food were on us in celebration for Dylan’s freedom. Conner reminded me that dinner and drinks were always on me anyway, as I’d never let them pay. I told him see, this is why, for all the great things he and Neal have done for Dylan and all of us. Conner hugged me.
Jake put Dylan up on his shoulders and paraded him around his fans. Conner said we had to stop in the police station, as he had one more thing he had to do. Jake let Dylan back down to his feet. Conner suggested the rest of the guys head back, as the police station couldn’t accommodate this many people without putting some of us in cells. We laughed, then the guys headed back to the bar. Jake and I went with Dylan to Conner’s interrogation room. Dylan got nervous remembering that is where he first met us. I told him there was a huge difference in that time and now. He agreed, totally relieved. Conner came in with a tool, telling Dylan he had to take Dylan’s watch back.
“Do you have to. That watch and I have become great friends. It tells good time, Conner. I’m kind of fond of it,” Dylan commented, smiling. Conner shook his head at him, as he used his special tool to separate Dylan from his locater watch.
“Josh, you and Jake can keep the app, only Dylan’s location will no longer show up on it, but Trent’s will. I’m about ready to kick him loose, but I think our Friday morning meetings are helpful to him, so I haven’t recommended him for release just yet. He seems to be doing well, and his friend Cody seems to have helped him a lot. I’ll give it a few weeks, then we’ll see what we can do. I couldn’t release this little bugger fast enough,” Conner said about Dylan. Dylan leaped up and hugged Conner once again then flat out kissed him on the lips. “Damn, Dylan, I think you made my dick hard, buddy,” Conner said, somewhat surprised by Dylan’s actions. Dylan laughed.
“Just let me at it and I guarantee I will make it hard for you, Conner,” Dylan chided.
“Now isn’t that what got you in trouble in the first place?” Conner teased. Dylan smiled.
“That’s when I was charging. No charge for you, big boy,” Dylan joked. Conner gave him another hug, telling Dylan how proud he was of him.
It was lunch time when we finally got back to the bar. Everyone was still excited. Jordan, Nate, Ken and Buzz had come over from the office for lunch, then hearing what took place in court, had to hug and congratulate our boy also. Todd and Chad joined us also, hugging on Dylan with the rest of us. We all had lunch together, making Dylan the guest of honor. I told the group we’d have a larger celebration tonight for anyone that wanted to come. They all said they’d show up.
Chase and Caleb were taking a break from practice, coming back to the bar for lunch, and joined in the celebration. Chase picked Dylan up and hugged him, then kissed him on the lips. Caleb even gave Dylan a hug. “Sorry we missed being there with you this morning, bro, but I think you were well represented,” Chase told him. Dylan thanked him, telling told him he was overwhelmed with the representation he got.
As soon as lunch was over, we all went up to change. Most of the guys had changed already. Dylan was in his work clothes in no time. I told him he had the day off, and to get comfortable. He said nothing doing, he was going back to work. He said his crew was depending on him. I told him he didn’t have to, but he insisted. Todd did whisper to me after lunch that the crews planned a celebration for him when he returned. If he didn’t go back to work, I was to make an excuse to get him to the job site, so they could honor him. I couldn’t get over, but I could certainly understand the admiration and love everyone had for Dylan. He was certainly a permanent fixture in my heart for sure, and many others.
Blake and Tim were sitting in the kitchen when we finally emerged from changing clothes, putting on our jeans and sweatshirts again, thinking we had to do something or go somewhere. Todd told me around 2:00 was when the celebration at the job site was to take place if we wanted to come. Jake and I thought we should be there. I asked Tim and Blake if they wanted to go. They said they were up for it.
“Josh, and Jake, that was the most wonderful experience this morning in court. I have never seen such a strong support for anyone before like I saw for Dylan this morning. Good grief, that boy is so loved,” Blake commented. “The most heartwarming part about it is, he’s so grateful to all of you. That speech he made, and yours and Conner’s too, brought tears to my eyes. What an ordeal he went through, when you think about it. Good grief, it’s a wonder he survived. Thanks to you guys, he has a wonderful life now. He’s so deserving, even if he did stick a Q-Tip in my ass this morning,” Blake said, chuckling. We had to laugh. Dylan was still Dylan for sure, but we wouldn’t have him any other way.
Blake said he needed to make a couple of phone calls, and would it be okay if he went down to the dressing room to make them so he wouldn’t interrupt anything we were doing. I told him sure, to have at it. Tim asked him if he had to talk to ‘her’, his girlfriend. “Yes, she’s been burning up my phone again all morning, but we had to have them on silent in court. That’s my excuse anyway. I’m sure we were there most of the morning, right?” he asked, winking. We shook our heads at him, pledging to support his little white lie. He side hugged Tim, then kissed him on the cheek, to Tim’s surprise, then took off, almost excited about something.
“Wow, did you see that? Blake’s never done that before. Maybe he does love me after all,” Tim remarked. Jake and I were kind of surprised, but we were used to those things. Tim wasn’t, however, not from Blake anyway. “Maybe he’s decided he loves me after all, and he’s on his way down to tell his girlfriend to get lost, as he’s never coming back. Now that would make me extremely happy,” Tim said, hoping beyond all hope. I told him not to get his hopes up too quick. He said he understood that.
We dug out our laptops to see our class schedules that started on Monday. Jake and I had micro-economics together, which pleased me. That started off on Monday. Then we had advanced experimental marketing at the normal time, then Thad and I had accounting Monday afternoon at our normal time only with Dennis this time instead of Ken, which we knew about, but saddened me anyway. I wondered if Dennis could be fun, him in his skinny jeans. I made a note to ask Ken if he got to know him any better when they made their transition. Tuesdays were different. We had marketing again, but it was a three-hour lab session, presumably to work on marketing projects like the dormitory. We had another two-hour lab on Thursdays also, then a one-hour summary class on Fridays. We guessed it was a prep for what we discussed in lab on Mondays, then the two labs, followed by a summary class on Friday. Ty had mentioned he was going to change it up the second semester, but we’d receive six credit hours instead of three. He said it was the equivalent of two marketing classes in one semester. Depending on how successful this second semester was, would shape the following year’s approach. I was really anxious to see what would come out of this semester’s class. I had a real estate class also Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Credit wise, it was a full load, and then some, when you considered all the marketing time we had. I hoped Ty didn’t get tired of us. Tim had more of a normal schedule, three classes three days a week and two classes on Tuesday and Thursdays. He said he liked the one-hour classes, saying three hours in a single class would do him in. He didn’t know if he could keep from peeing that long. I had to laugh, telling him I was sure they would give us breaks, possibly hourly. He said he hoped so for our sakes.
The clock rolled around pretty quick, until it was time to go support Dylan at the job site for his celebration there. Blake still wasn’t back. We stopped by the dressing room to collect him, Tim bringing Blake’s coat with him so we could head on out. Blake told whoever he was talking to, he had to go, and they could talk later. Tim asked him if everything was all right. Blake said he was talking to his dad, telling him all the great experiences he had this week. He said his dad was excited for him, but wanted to hear more, so he’d call him later. He told Tim that both dads were happy they were having such a great time together. They wanted them to be close in the worst way, so Blake said. We thought that was encouraging, but did they have any idea their two sons were possibly getting as close as the two of them. I could only wonder.
We arrived at the job site, and Todd and Chad gave us hardhats to wear into the dormitory. We walked into the future lobby where they had a decent sized cake. Todd told me that Fritz made that for this occasion. Todd said, not to tell Dylan but there was an even bigger one for tonight. Wow, I thought Dylan was really going to be overwhelmed. Todd said Dylan was on one of the upper floors, unaware of what was to take place. Todd said Buzz took him up there to check on something that would take him a few minutes at least. It was enough time to assemble the crew in the future lobby. It was warmer in the construction site, with kerosene space heaters running, giving off a thick aroma kerosene, which went great with cake, I had to believe. They had punch in big Igloo coolers, not that we needed to cool anything as cool as it was outside, and, but for the smelly space heaters, would be inside.
Buzz and Dylan came walking down the stairs. The guys all let out big cheers, stifling Dylan. He wasn’t sure if it was some kind of emergency and someone was hurt or what was going on. He looked concerned. Then the guys let out some helium balloons that filled the area with his name on them. Dylan clung to Buzz, not sure what to do at this point. Buzz helped him down the rest of the steps. One of the construction guys picked him up and put him on their shoulders, parading him around. Dylan looked totally overwhelmed. Todd had a megaphone and welcomed everyone, saying how proud we all were of Dylan and how this job and the men he worked with, helped change his life. There were great cheers once again. I was amazed at how supportive they were of our guy. Then Todd told them the CEO of the company one of Dylan’s sponsors was here and would I like to say a few words to the crew. Then he handed me the megaphone. I gave him a weird look, like what the hell did he need me to tell them. I had to think fast, reminiscent of the time the TV camera got shoved in my face when I was on the phone with Ross. Damn this was so unfair.
“Gentlemen, we are gathered here today to honor one of our own outstanding employees who has turned around his life. I want you to know that all of you are responsible for his success in some way. You all were the ones he wanted to be with daily. He cares about each and every one of you, and has told us all that repeatedly. You are a big part of his world and he treasures your friendship and fellowship. Without great guys like you, we wouldn’t have the successes the company has had. With the leadership of Todd, Chad, Devin and Sandy in electrical, Buzz, our architect and Dylan the glue that holds it all together, plus you, the ones that make it work, we wouldn’t have anything. Dylan hopes this celebration is as much about you as it is about him, you the guys he loves to see and work with daily. He’s told me many times how blessed he is to have the great guys he has to work with. He considers it a privilege to know and work with you. So, together, we’re building a building, which, hopefully, will be the first of many. Hell, Buzz couldn’t wait to finish this one before he started another one close to the CNB. Who knows what’s next. Anyway, we celebrate Dylan’s successful accomplishment, but we honor all of you, who helped make that possible and this company successful. Now, let’s eat some cake,” I said, handing the megaphone back to Todd. Todd shook his head at me.
“Silver tongued devil,” he said, making me laugh. “How do you come up with just the right words to say at just the right time to say them?” he asked, looking amazed.
“Someone told me a long time ago, just speak your heart, It works every time,” I told him. Todd was still amazed.
I met a lot of people during the celebration. Jake, Tim, Blake, we were all surrounded by the guys telling us what a great opportunity it was to work on this project, the best the town had ever seen. It made me proud to hear all the stories the guys had to tell. In the end, I thought it was a privilege to spend the time with the guys that we did. I looked up at the sky eventually, asking Stoney, what did you get me into, and why me, something I was still trying to figure out.
Eventually, we collected Dylan. Jake put Dylan on his shoulders and we walked back to the construction trailer. Dylan told us he had never felt so loved in all his life. He was blown away by the affection of his workmates and his roommates, his family, as he put it. I told him it was fun to spoil him. I thought he was going to cry, he hugged me so tightly. “Dylan, enjoy the spotlight while you can. It doesn’t happen that often, but you deserved this one like no other,” I told him, as he continued to hug me.
We told Todd we were taking him home, but to come by later for dinner and beer. They said they’d be there. Buzz said he was coming with Jordan, Nate, Ken, Hunter and possibly Jonas. I was happy to hear all the guys were coming to support our guy. Dylan was still blown away by all the attention he got from everyone. He shared stories about some of the guys, different anecdotal stories, the human interest ones, that made you think he really paid attention and interacted with so many lives during his job. We were going to college, but he was learning about life in the workplace and making some great decisions because of his knowledge. He was definitely going to play a leadership role in what we did in the future. I could tell, just by the way he interacted with the men. They loved him. Made me feel good.
The after-work crowd was already starting to gather, as we arrived back at the bar. We jumped behind the bar and went to work. Tim helped out. Blake said he had to call a couple of people back, and then he’d help us out. Dustin and Ethan were there. Terry showed up and Luke was helping take food and drink orders. Chase and Caleb weren’t back yet. Trevor and Andy made it in and manned the other side of the bar with Eric. We were in good shape, this being a weeknight. Dylan had gone up to change from his work clothes to his bar clothes. Eric grabbed him and hugged him when he came back down, telling Dylan how proud he was of him. I thought Dylan was going to melt. All the rest of the guys hugged him also, some kissing him on the cheek or forehead. Dylan was almost in shock, not being able to wrap his head around all this intense affection and attention. But, as soon as he grabbed his first rack of beer glasses and put them in the chillers, he was back in bar back action, one more time. No one could bar back like he could, in his opinion anyway, and most of the rest of us.
The boys from our corporate offices finally showed up, with Hunter in tow. We all hugged one another. I especially enjoyed hugging Hunter. He got a kick out of that, along with Nate. Those two were just the greatest couple in my mind. Todd, Chad, then Conner and Neal finally joined us also.
There were several of us at a combined table. Fritz had prepared fillet mignon for us with a special mushroom sauce. The mushroom sauce was a favorite of Dylan’s, except he was used to having it on hamburgers, not steak. Tonight was special for him. The boy ate like it was the last meal he’d ever have. I told him, as skinny as he was, we were going to be able to see his bloated stomach bulging out from his sides. That made him laugh. We dimmed the lights, then Fritz wheeled out a big cake with large candles on it, telling Dylan it was a Freedom cake. Freedom to be him and live a free and productive life. Tears flowed as he blew out the large candles. The whole bar cheered. We had free beer for everyone that wanted one in celebration of Dylan’s transformation.
Eventually we were all celebrated out, and most of the guys took off. We headed upstairs, got naked down to our skivvies and just chilled out. Dustin, Chase and Caleb joined us. I was sitting on the couch with Dylan leaning up against me, my arms wrapped around him. Jake was beside us. You could tell our guy was totally worn out. We talked for a while, about all the events that happened today, then some about classes starting on Monday. Dylan said he was glad he didn’t have classes, just fun work. I told him he was lucky in some ways. Then he said he needed us to study hard so we could keep the company profitable to keep him working. I told him we’d try to do our best, making him smile and lovingly rub my arms around him. I kissed him on his cheek, making him sigh.
Caleb took off, saying he was going to bed, wanting to know if Chase was working with him tomorrow. Chase said he was good if Caleb was. Caleb actually said he appreciated what Chase was doing for him, as he thought it was doing him some good. He even told us all goodnight, and he’d see us tomorrow. After he left, I asked if anyone knew if there was anyone that stopped by looking for him today. No one seemed to know if someone did or didn’t, but thought Eric would have said something if they had. Dustin said he filled Eric in on what Caleb told him this morning, so he had to believe no one came by. Then Dustin told me there were several that came by wanting to meet me and find out what I told Ross on the phone that was televised. I shook my head in disbelief.
“You guys are never going to let me live that down,” I commented.
“It’s not us, Josh. It’s your fans out there. They want you now,” Dustin told me. I had a hard time wrapping my head around this celebrity thing, and decided to ignore it to the best of my ability.
Everyone was tired and decided to head to bed. Chase and Dustin looked excited to take off. Dylan had his head in my lap and his legs on Jake’s. I asked him if this was his big night where he was going to fuck the shit out of Dustin and Chase. He looked up at me with his big round eyes and smiled.
“Would it be alright if I sleep with you and Jake tonight again and you just hold me. I think I’ve had enough excitement for one day. I just want you two to hold me and make me feel loved, like you told the world you did today. I’m so overwhelmed with everyone today. I just need the two most important men in my life to hold me and make me feel wanted and loved. You and Jake are all I need tonight, just to be held,” Dylan replied, somewhat shocking me as a total departure from his more prurient interests. I bent down and kissed him on the lips.
“Dylan, you couldn’t have had a more wonderful day,” Blake told him. I have never seen such an outpouring of love for anyone, like I’ve seen for you today. You are a special person and definitely loved by all that know you. You have a lot to be thankful for,” Blake told him.
“I’m really starting to like you, Blake. You sure you don’t want to stay with us? I think we could learn to love you almost immediately. You get what we’re all about, and you’re interested in all our shit. You could really make a difference here. What do you have to lose? Anything this great in Columbus? I bet not. Tim likes you. Hell, he gets a boner anytime he’s near you. You got, Tim. Josh and Jake like you. They know when someone’s a winner for sure. I’d love to get my ass on that hot cock of yours in a heartbeat, so if I were you, I’d think about staying here with us and ditching that bitch girlfriend of yours,” Dylan told him. Blake shook his head, smiling.
“Don’t think I haven’t thought about it. The fact you want to sit on my dick, just might push me over the edge, you know,” Blake chided. Dylan got up and went and sat on Blake’s lap, facing him, then hugging him. Blake was still smiling. Blake kissed Dylan’s chest, and hugged him tightly. “You are kind of loveable, you know,” Blake told Dylan. Dylan wiggled his ass over Blakes brief clad junk, trying to tease him some. “Yep, you’re definitely loveable. I don’t know, the prospect of you on my dick, just might make me want to stay,” Blake chided. Dylan kissed Blake on the lips, surprising him. Blake hugged him tightly. “All of you guys are so loveable. I ‘ve never seen friends and brothers like I’ve seen here in this group. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is. I just feel like I’ve known all of you for life and would trust you with everything, my mind, my heart, and anything I owned. Leaving you guys is going to be especially hard on me, to say the least,” Blake confessed. Dylan hugged him tight, gave him another kiss on the lips, then got up off Blake’s lap, feeling his junk in the process.
“I think I might have made Blake a little excited there, guys. He just might make the cut after all,” Dylan announced, making us smile. Dylan came back and sat sideways on my lap.
“Oh, so now you’re going to horn me up. I see how this works. Dylan kissed me on the lips to shut me up. Then he kissed me on one of my nipples, then sucked on the other. “Okay, horn dog, time to put you to bed, and Jake and me too. Tell the boys night- night,” I told him. Dylan went and kissed and hugged Tim, then Blake. Tim told him he loved him, and how proud he was of him. Blake told him he was proud of him also and happy he could share in his celebration today, as he was so impressed with him in every way. I think that really got to Dylan, to have someone that basically just met him, to appreciate him like he did. Blake was sincere in everything he said to any of us, impressing me more and more each day.
Jake picked Dylan up and carried him into bed, dropping him on the bed. I pulled off his baggy boxers and threw them to the side. Then Jake and I slipped off our briefs and jumped into bed beside him. We wrapped our arms around him and cuddled him. “You know, I couldn’t be happier or feel more loved than I do with the two of you right now. Please keep me for life, guys. I need you guys in my life forever,” Dylan told us. We both kissed him, telling him he was ours for life. That seemed to make him happy. He didn’t seem horny at all, which was totally out of character for our boy, but we all were just content to hold each other and feel loved, then fall asleep.
Jake and I woke up Friday morning in each other’s arms. Dylan was gone, presumably having left for work. He so loved his job, and from the affection he received yesterday at his celebration, the job, and employees seemed to love him. I reached down and stroked Jake’s morning wood, making him sigh. “Do we have to get up yet?” he asked. Moments later he got his answer, feeling my lips on that proud and rock-hard cock of his. “Damn, babe, you do have a way of waking me up. Don’t stop. Feels too good to stop. Oh, shit, this feels great,” Jake said, enjoying the action I was giving his cock and balls. “Not to break the mood or anything, but I do have to piss,” Jake informed me. I came up to his face, giving him a frown.
“Me too,” I replied, making us both giggle somewhat. “We’re hopeless,” I told him. He smiled and kissed me passionately. Damn, I loved him with everything I had. I hugged him tightly, then noticed a note on his night stand, attached to, none other than a Q-Tip. It said, ‘I love you with all my heart’. Jake looked over and saw one on my nightstand also. I picked it up and it said the same thing. “Well, I feel deprived,” I said, getting a confused look from Jake. “Well, normally he would have stuck that up our asses, but this time he just laid them on the night stands. Going to have to talk to that boy about consistency,” I joked. Jake kissed me tenderly, one more time. We finally got up and followed our boners to the bathroom to piss together. Chase and Dustin were in the shower already. Jake and I were moderately sexually molested by the two, as we attempted to shower. While no penetration took place, we felt an urge to cum a few times before we made it out of the shower. Those two were crazy, I had to believe. We dried off, finally, then donned some briefs and headed to the kitchen for breakfast and coffee.
Tim and Blake were up already and told us good morning when we arrived. Tim poured us coffee, then Jake and I got some cereal. “You guys sleep good last night?” I asked, for no other reason than for just simple conversation.
“Oh you better believe it,” Tim replied. Blake smiled, making me think maybe something more happened last night. No one volunteered any details, which was disappointing. “Did you make Dylan feel loved last night?” Tm asked.
“You know, he just wanted to be held and made to feel loved. We did that for him. Felt great, him between us and in our arms. Just can’t help but love that boy. What a transformation he was. It was amazing. I wasn’t sure what the judge meant yesterday about sending someone else our way. I don’t think we could love another guy as much as we love Dylan. I’d just soon not have someone else, unless Dylan wanted another brother to lord over and bring around. If that were the case, then it might be okay,” I shared.
“Witnessing what I did yesterday, it’s a wonder the judge doesn’t appoint you to head up the social services agency here in Uni. You guys certainly have a way with making anyone feel loved,” Blake commented.
“Do you feel loved, Blake?” I asked. Blake looked like he wasn’t sure how to answer that.
“I feel closer to you guys than I have to anyone else but my parents. Let me put it that way. Is it love, respect, or am I falling in love, I can’t explain at the moment. You guys have given me so much to think about and flooded my head and heart with emotions I’m not quite equipped to deal with just yet. But, I will say, you’re winning, and I don’t regret any of what I feel and have seen here. I just have to be careful,” he replied.
“Careful with what, Blake?” I asked.
“Careful I make the right decisions and with my mind and my heart and not either one of them overrule one another,” he replied, indicating to me he was struggling with something. I wasn’t sure what just yet, but I was hoping he’d eventually share that with us. I did give him a hug, which he appreciated. Tim gave him one also, as did Jake. “You guys are so damned loving. I don’t know what to say,” Blake admitted.
“Just accept our love and give it back. It’s rather simple in our minds and hearts,” I told him. Blake looked confused. “So what’s up for today for everyone?” I asked, trying to change the subject.
“I have to meet with Ty at 10:00,” Blake mentioned, relieved we were on to something different in our conversation. We remembered that he had more questions for Ty.
I told the boys, I was going to the offices and bug Jordan, Nate and Ken this morning. Jake said he’d pray for them. I had to jump in his arms and kiss him, teasing him some. Blake got a kick out of that. Blake asked if he could go with me to see the offices, before he had to meet with Ty. I told him there wasn’t much to see, but if he wanted to tag along, he was more than welcome to. Eventually, we got dressed then headed out. Tim said he was going to hang around the apartment this morning and see what he needed to do to get ready for Monday’s start of classes. Jake said he needed to do that also, as we just got started doing that yesterday when we had to leave for Dylan’s celebration at the dorm construction site.
It was a short, but cold walk to the offices downtown. It felt good to be inside again. We ran into Buzz at the elevator on the way up. He gave me a hug and Blake one also. “Love how you guys show your affection for one another,” Blake commented.
“Hey, it wasn’t always like that. I never did much of that at all until I met Josh, Jake and Jordan. Now I wouldn’t think about not doing it,” Buzz told him. Blake replied it was nice and felt good, like you cared. We all agreed.
Buzz said he was on his way to the dorm construction site, then would be at the office building site right before lunch. He said Nate and Jordan were coming over for lunch. I told Buzz, this had been one hell of a busy week. Buzz said going to the City and coming back the same day on Wednesday was a tough day. I told him not when you flew in our corporate airplane. Buzz as impressed.
“Hey, Buzz, might need you to design a new hanger for us here at the Uni airport. We’re starting to collect a few airplanes over here,” I told him. He said those were rather simple buildings, the kind you could almost buy kits for. “Well, when we get ready someday, I’ll let you pick out the kit,” I replied. He said he’d be happy to do so.
He took off, as we headed upstairs to the offices. Even though our office suite wasn’t all that large where Nate and Jordan were, Blake was still impressed. “Damn, you’re up early for a vacation day,” Jordan teased. “I see you brought your new partner with you also. Might as well bring him up to speed,” Jordan chided. I smiled. Blake felt totally honored being called ‘partner’.
“Blake’s about to wind up his exposure to our crazy business and head back to reality, but he wanted to come with me to pick on you some this morning. How are we coming with the Paradise settlement?” I asked.
“Nate’s just finishing up the asset transfer. He has to file the paperwork with the Florida Secretary of State’s office and our Secretary of State’s office also. Oh, and when that happens, we transfer the business and liquor licenses simultaneously, although Jason and Erin will have to run that through the City offices of Ft. Lauderdale at that time. We should have this wrapped up by the end of next week for sure. The check to this Hal guy, is cut and ready to overnight to the boys to hand it to him. He could technically leave anytime, as we already own controlling interest, but in a roundabout way through Invescor,” Jordan replied. Jordan yelled for Nate to join us. I got a big hug from Nate. Blake got one too.
“How’s my boy, Hunter?” I had to ask, making Nate smile.
“He had some good news yesterday from Uni Med Center. Seems as if they are going to approve his residency to take place here instead of the City Med Center. CMC is not too happy about losing him, as they need of additional residents. Turns out so does UMC, and he prefers UMC, of course. Looks like it’s going to fall into place, Josh. Your Dr. Wayne was very instrumental in helping to make that happen. We all need to thank him for all his hard efforts,” Nate replied.
“That’s fantastic news, Nate. I’m excited. Another win for our team. A lot of excitement in the last few days. This is great,” I said, excitedly. Nate said Hunter was really excited and happy now that they could be together. I had to hug Nate, I was so excited. “Jordan, you hug Nate also. Show him your excitement,” I told Jordan.
“I hug him every morning, Josh. Remember I have to work with him. Can’t go around hugging him all day. Then I might get excited,” Jordan replied, but gave Nate a quick hug anyway just to please me. Blake reached out his arms and hugged him also, pleasantly surprising Nate.
“You know, I think we might want to keep this one,” Nate said, regarding Blake. I chuckled, saying we’d sure like to, but might have to wait a few months to get him permanently, if we didn’t scare him off with our craziness this week. Blake just smiled, shaking his head.
“So, did you set anything up with this Conrad guy from Invescor?” I asked Nate. Nate smiled.
“I told him we’d like to have him, and his number two, down for a meeting as soon as possible. He said he was pretty tied up in the next few weeks, but he’d see what he could arrange. He wanted to know if we could come to Chicago. I told him, we were pretty tied up also, but wanted to know when the next board meeting was to take place. That seemed to get his attention. He, all of a sudden, said he could be here on a Tuesday in a couple of weeks, weather permitting, wanting to know what our airport was like. I asked if he was coming commercial or private plane. He said, private, of course. Then I told him we could get jets in and out of Uni, and he wouldn’t have to land at the regional airport. He said he’d tell his charter service that,” Nate replied.
“Charter service, huh. There’s another service that might be changing in the future,” I commented. Blake smiled, knowing where I was coming from. Nate did also. “Well, keep me informed, and we’ll decide what demands we want to make when they’re here. Make sure you set up a strategy meeting for us, Nate. We need to know what we’re going to demand when we meet with them. We mostly want to figure out what businesses they are partners in with other entities and see where we can gain a possible advantage with some of the businesses. You, Jordan and maybe one of the other partners might want to analyze the businesses and make some recommendations for us,” I mentioned.
“Now that would be a fun project,” Blake mentioned. “That could be exciting in itself.” I looked at him, as if he was a shareholder of ours already and just found a project he’d love to sink his teeth into for us. I had to shake my head.
“Like Blake said, someone would probably enjoy working on that with you. I’m thinking possibly Thad might enjoy that,” I told him. Blake looked disappointed, like I just passed him over for a project he wanted badly, but he wasn’t even a shareholder and wouldn’t be here past this weekend. I was confused as to the signals he was sending me.
“Got it, boss. I’ll put something together and schedule a strategy meeting to discuss our demands,’ Nate replied, semi-excited.
“Oh, and Nate, the first and foremost demand, the one on the top of our list is that you be Chairman of the Board,” I told him. Nate was all smiles.
“I won’t disappointed you, Josh. I can do that,” he replied, confidently. I hugged him.
“There you go with those hugs again,” Blake commented, smiling. I asked him if he had a better way to show appreciation. He said hugs looked good to him. I certainly believed so.
We finished up our conversation with Nate and Jordan, although Jordan would have liked another one of our hot conferences in the conference room, I sensed, but we had too many witnesses today. Still, I sneakily tickled his ass when Blake and I left to go next door to accounting. I saw Curtis immediately when we walked in, the bullpen in full force. I got a big smile from him, as well as the rest of the guys. I told him I’d be back. Jonas was in with Ken working on something. I got a hug from both of them, as did Blake. Although Blake wasn’t sure why he got hugged, he was getting used to the idea, that’s what we liked to do to show our appreciation and greet one another. It was starting to rub off on him.
“So, did you get all the financing worked out on the two jets with Jules and Cliff,” I asked the two. Ken smiled.
“Yes, boss, it’s all complete. As CFO, I initiated the loan agreements. Do you want copies of them or are the files good enough?” Ken asked.
“Ken, if you’re happy with them, then I’m happy with them. I’m just glad you got this all done. Nate is working on the transfer of assets from Invescor to Stoney Ent, so you’ll have to get on top of that and make sure the accounting is all in line. Plus, Jason and Erin will have to make sure we put our Point of Sale system, that communicates with our accounting system, in place when we officially take it over. You might need to go down there or send brother Jonas to help set all that up correctly,” I suggested.
“Brother? So now I’m a brother?” Jonas chided. I smiled at him.
“Well, you’re more like a step brother at the moment, but you could be a real brother if you let you guard down,” I hinted. Jonas chuckled.
“Ken, save me. I’m starting to lose my mancard,” he chided.
“Well, if you need any help with losing your mancard, I can sure help you with that,” I offered, making Jonas chuckle even more, telling me he was sure that could happen, but he thought he’d hang onto it just a little longer, at least. I patted him on the back, telling him it was a good thing, as there were several standing in line before him for help. That cracked him up.
“Ken, so school starts Monday again, as you very well know, only you aren’t going to teach our class anymore. So, can you give me any insight on Dennis at all? Thad and I want to know if he has a sense of humor. Does he have any interest in our culture, or is he strictly a breeder?” I asked, making Ken shake his head.
“I honestly don’t know much about him, Josh. He seems nice enough. He seems to have a decent personality. I’d suggest you and Thad just get to know him and find out for yourselves what he’s like. I don’t see any reason in the world you guys wouldn’t get along fine with him. We hit it off well just before the term ended. I thought he was kind of a neat guy actually. I invited him to stop by here and see what all we were doing and the challenges we have to contend with. He said he was really interested in what we were trying to do here, because it was a practical application of what we taught. He asked some questions about you and Thad, and how devoted you were to the company. I told him you two were exemplary when it came to business, but you were also characters, so beware,” Ken explained. I shook my head.
“You told him we were characters?” I asked. Ken smiled saying he told the honest to God’s truth. I thanked him for outing us. Ken and Jonas laughed.
“Just be straight with him and get to know him. You’ll be fine, Josh. I mean, everyone that knows you likes you. For shit’s sake, you were even on national TV the other night. I’m sure Dennis saw that or at least heard about it. Just be cool with him and don’t try to seduce him the first few days of class,” Ken advised. Blake and I laughed, as did Jonas. Ken was halfway serious.
“Okay, I’ll play it cool and Thad and I will behave, at least for the first few days of class. I do love those skinny jeans of his, better than those khakis of yours, Ken. Although you did have a nice bulge in yours at times,” I chided, making Jonas and Blake chuckle. Ken told me I was impossible.
I gave them both a hug, as we were leaving. I stopped by to see Curtis, who gave me a hug and told the bullpen to stand at attention. That cracked me up. The other three guys wanted hugs also, since Curtis got his. “Who’s the newbie?” Curtis asked, as I introduced Blake to them.
“Oh, he’s my new first lieutenant. He handles all my appointments and paperwork, a skillful personal assistant, to help me get things done. I had to have someone that I can totally trust and share confidential information with, disucuss strategy, you guys know the drill. Damn kid is on top of all my business, and I do mean all,” I joked, only they didn’t know that. Blake rolled his eyes.
“Wow, Blake, you have an extremely important position taking care of Josh. Congratulations, that’s quite an honor,” Curtis said, as he shook his hand, the other three guys standing in line to shake his hand also. “I knew you needed someone like that, Josh. I always figured it might be Thad, but if Blake here’s the one, then we welcome him proudly,” Curtis replied. I shook my head at them.
“I’m kidding, Curtis. I might need that sometime as we get larger, but not right at the moment. I think I can pretty much take care of myself for the time being,” I enlightened him. Curtis was all smiles.
“Good one, Josh. Had us going there for a few minutes, although it sounded realistic. One could see where someone like that would come in handy,” Curtis replied. I clarified things with the group, saying that Blake was a close friend visiting this week from Ohio State, which got him some boos, which he said he understood and all, being football rivals. Then the guys asked him how he liked Uni compared to OSU. Blake said he was very impressed with the school, and totally enamored with our marketing program here. He said he was definitely excited about our business, it’s growth and potential. He also said, I had exposed him to a large area of our business this week, for which he was excited to see and experience, plus he was blown away by what we’d all accomplished. The boys told him that was for sure.
I asked Curtis if Ted was here. Curtis pointed to the same back cubicle Ted occupied the last time I was there. I sneaked around the cubicle wall. Ted was hard at work on a work station, working on a spreadsheet. He had earplugs in his ears, so he didn’t hear me sneak up on him. I kissed him on the cheek, startling him. He jumped up excitedly and kissed me on the lips, somewhat surprising Blake, who was just now getting used to hugs.
“Josh, you came to see me again,” Ted said excitedly. I told him I missed him, and wanted to make sure Curtis was taking good care of him. Ted rubbed his ass and told him me Curtis was definitely taking good care of him. I told Blake Ted was a frat brother of mine and a very close one at that, a good friend of Tim’s also. Blake automatically gave Ted a hug, pleasing the hell out of Ted. “Damn, Josh, I like this guy. You need to recruit him also,” Ted suggested, making Blake happy.
“He’s kind of a half-brother to Tim, actually. It’s a long story, but we’ll have to fill you in sometime when we have more time,” I told Ted.
“A half brother to Tim. As much as we love Tim, I guess we’re going to have to love you too, Blake,” Ted replied, making Blake smile. I told Ted not to fall in love with him too quickly, as he was just visiting, and we’d be losing him back to Ohio State soon. “Bummer,” Ted told Blake. “As hot as you are, you need to stick around here. Great things happen to guys that are associated with Josh and Jake. You couldn’t find a better place to be than here,” Ted told him. Blake said he was beginning to understand that, and wished he could.
Noticing the time, I asked Blake what time he had to be at Ty’s. He reminded me his appointment was for 10:00. It was ten minutes of, and I suggested he hurry over there. He said time flew by so fast here. Blake gave me a nice hug, then gave Ted one also, saying he’d catch me later. I wished him luck, as we watched him take off. For the life of me, I couldn’t imagine what he had left to ask Ty, after all the time he spent with him two days ago. But, Blake was curious about everything it seemed.

(Also on two levels, I might add.
