The Coming of Josh

I enjoyed reading this chapter from beginning to end FT.

Well Hal's suffering came to an end surrounded by his family. Cam took his fathers' death rather well. Kyle took Hal's death worse than even Cam but they are there for each other in the end which is good for both of them.

Will entertained Logan by himself since Josh and Jake were consoling Kyle and Cam over Hal's death. Logan was genuinely impressed with SE and with Josh and Jake in particular.

Clay had the unenviable position of making out with Shelley at the newsroom while steering clear of Aikens who would surely fire Clay if he found them together.

I'm excited for the next installment when it's ready.

FT, please don't put any sort of deadlines on yourself to post new chapters.

Brian

I',m with Brian. It was a good chapter, as they all are and we can't seem to get enough of them. You weren't kidding, FT, when you titled this chapter The Inevitable Happens. Sad to say the boys lost a good supporter and friend. Cam is doing okay, but Kyle had a rough time of it. I think the boys all left off some stress when they showered together and shared their love for one another. I love it that Josh believes when someone passes, there is a shooting star to let those left behind they are free. Josh believes that and is inspired and feels relieved when he sees it for himself. Such a neat thing to see and wonder.

Poor Clay, having to put up with Shelley just to help get his story. Ugh. At least he's hanging in there. I don't know what makes him think anything is worth that. Glad to know that he appreciates Wes the way he did. Wes seems to be a very talented guy, one I wouldn't mind having around for sure.

A somewhat sad, but somewhat happy chapter also. The boys did a great job of consoling one another and providing comfort and love. What a great group of guys in many ways.

As always, we're anxious for the next chapter, FT, but don't kill yourself thinking you have to keep up a schedule. You write them and we'll read them. BC

Hey, I made it and am back on schedule for now. I think this is a chapter you've been waiting for some of the information anyway. It was more involved than I thought when I started writing it, so it overflows into the next chapter. I know, I left you with another cliffhanger. Sorry about that, but it just kind of happens that way. Thanks to Brian and BC for checking in. I'm sure you guys figured I'd be a day late again if not more. Things worked out a little better this week, although work is still tough these days.

Have a great rest of the week. In the meantime, please stay Healthy, Safe and Happy. Huggs, FT

Chapter 633 – Meeting The Dads

It was kind of nice seeing Will first thing in the morning and even getting a good morning kiss from the boy. Jake and I loved the hell out of him. He was becoming someone we both depended on, virtually running the company while we just made decisions and went to class. Will, on the other hand, implemented the plans and kept everything moving. I hated the fact we waited so long to bring him over from the City. I kicked myself for not bringing him over earlier than we did. We could have been further down the road, had I done that. Oh well, I was elated he was here with us now. Not only that, Forest was a happier person also. I was glad he was no longer lonely, but I wished he could do more things with the rest of us.

I swear Rod was a nervous wreck when he met us before Marketing class at the SU. He looked terrible. “What happened to you that you look like shit?” I asked, shaking my head when I looked at him. “Don’t tell me the ‘time being’ ran out.” He looked at me like he wanted to kill me. “Easy there, tiger. What’s wrong?” I asked, as we sat down to drink coffee at our normal meeting time and place.

“I’m dreading this evening with my dad and uncle, Josh. Mary Ann and the girls are no help either. We worked our asses off last night to make the place halfway presentable. Mary Ann even had the designs of what the rooms will look like. Honestly, it looks like we had a professional designer put the whole package together. That part looks great, and at least we cleaned up all the sheetrock scraps and dust so the place doesn’t look too bad. The kitchen is still a mess with half the cabinets torn out, but the drawing of what it’s going to look like, looks great,” Rod explained.

“So what’s the problem then?” I asked. He still looked terrible.

“I don’t know. I’ve gone through all the scenarios in my head of what they’re going to ask and how I’m going to explain things to them. Mary Ann says she thinks the hardest thing to explain to them is our relationship with you guys,” Rod replied, looking concerned.

“And that means what?” I asked rather abruptly.

“Like how did we get involved with you guys and end up working for you at the bar and you financing our remodeling plan at the house. Why did you do all that for us?” Rod asked. I rolled my eyes.

“Because I wanted you to let me fuck your ass, Rod. That’s why we do everything for the four of you because we want your dicks and ass. We are driven by male sex and male sex alone and the straighter you are the satisfaction we get our of wanting to fuck you, that’s why. Is it working?” I practically yelled at him, him urging me to keep it down. He looked like he’d seen a ghost.

“You really want me that bad? I mean if that’s what it was all along, then why didn’t you just say so. I mean, I might not like it, but if it makes you happy, I certainly owe you that much or more,” Rod offered.

“You fucking don’t get it do you,” I told him, getting somewhat angry at him that he didn’t understand our true motives of friendship.

“I guess I get it, now that you’ve explained it,” he replied, still somewhat shocked, but seemingly understanding. I shook my head at him.

“Rod, I could just punch you in the mouth right about now,” I told him with the rest of our guys holding their breaths, not sure what I was saying or where I was going with this. Rod looked more confused than ever.

“What now? I just told you I’d give you my ass to fuck. What more do you want from me?” he asked, still terribly confused. I was getting angry.

“Just shut up and listen, you moron,” I told him, shocking the rest of our guys. Now Rod was scared. “First of all, I don’t want your sorry ass or your dick. All we ever wanted from you and your buds, was your friendship and you caring about us as true friends, equals, partners in projects and enjoying the hell out of being with one another and each other’s company. We did everything we’ve done for you from the heart, nothing more, Rod. Don’t you understand and appreciate that? I can’t believe you thought there were ulterior motives here. Not everyone is as selfish as you think they should be. Certainly we’re not that way. You guys may think that, but not us. I really thought you knew and understood the true meaning of friendship by now. Do you really think if I wanted to fuck your sorry ass, I’d have worked as hard as I did to hook you up with Mary Ann? I did that out of caring for your needs, hoping the two of you would really hit it off and both of you would be happy. That’s what a true friend does for another friend. They sense each other’s needs and goals and help one another to achieve them. I can’t believe you don’t understand that, after hanging around with us all this time,” I said. My sermon was making him feel about two feet tall. I think he was totally embarrassed he said what he said. I rattled him and rattled him good, but he needed to be able to understand what our friendship meant. He was almost in tears.

“I’m so sorry, Josh. I feel all the things you just said, and I believe you when you say them. I didn’t mean to act like such a selfish snob, because I love you, man. I really love you, more than a straight boy should love another dude. Still, I don’t give a shit about what others may think that my best friend is gay, so then I must have gay interests as well. Fuck them all that don’t understand what true friendship is and how it’s a give and take, and things are done from the heart, without thought of malicious gossip. I love you, Josh, with all my heart. And, if that means other ways need to be shown, I certainly owe you that much and more for putting up with my sorry ass and Tyler, Lonnie and Tink,” he replied. I smiled for the first time.

“So what’s bothering you then?” I asked, as calmly as I could, as if we never had this heated exchange. He looked at me with a blank stare.

“I was concerned about how to explain to our father’s our relationship with you guys and how it all came about,” Rod replied, now confused more than ever that I was calm again.

“I think you just explained it to me, so why can’t you explain it to them the way you just explained it to me?” I asked.

“What, the heart thing and all?” he asked. I was about to slap him now.

“You obviously don’t believe what you just told me then, if you can’t explain that to others,” I replied, raising my voice some again to let him know my patience was running thin.

“Okay, I guess I understand. I just have to find a way to explain it to them. Mary Ann says that’s what they won’t understand, is how we became such great friends. I can’t very well tell them about the gay porno video we shot and asked you to be a consultant on it, for shit’s sake,” he said, somewhat embarrassingly. I smiled.

“Oh go ahead, but I want to be there for that conversation,” I chided. He rolled his eyes.

“Yeh, I just bet you’d like to be there for that, which might as well be my funeral after that,” he replied, making me smile. He looked more confused than ever.

“Rod, speak from you heart like you just did. You convinced me you do understand what our relationship is, so convince your dad and uncle the same way you did me. Don’t hold back. Grow some balls and be positive about what we mean to each other. We have fused a tremendous working relationship out of a fraternal respect for one another and the fact we’ve become great friends. Great friends think of great things to do together and creativity results from great minds working together. Your dad and uncle do that every day in business. They understand what it is to truly trust others, which are those they gravitate to the most. It’s that simple. Trust, respect and friendship. Those are the building blocks of our relationship. Sex is the furthest from that, even though straight sex seems to be on your mind continually,” I told him, making him smile at the end.

“Okay, I guess I understand. Gees, this could get interesting having to explain that, because they’re probably going to think there is something going on between us that got us all this help and friendship,” Rod replied.

“There is a lot going on between us, called respect, trust and friendship, Rod. If that embarrasses you to say, then we don’t have much of a true friendship between us. You are my friend, and I will defend you as my friend forever and to the inth degree. If you don’t feel the same way, then we don’t have much of a real friendship. If your dad and uncle can’t see that, then I don’t have much hope for your future, and we all might as well be wasting our time hanging out with you guys,” I replied, making him nervous again. “Grow some nads and tell them how it is,” I told him.

“Okay, I will. If they want to know why we’ve become such great friends, I will tell them like it is. God, I hope this doesn’t come out the wrong way,” he said, unsure of himself.

“If it’s from the heart, it will always come out the right way,” I told him. “Why does Mary Ann think our friendship with you is going to create problems for your dad and uncle?” I asked, wondering what kind of crap she was feeding his mind.

“She just told me that they’re probably going to ask how we became such great friends and why you gave us an unsecured note to rehab the property to help us show them we’re responsible, show initiative and create earnings. I’m sorry, but I just didn’t think about it enough beforehand, and panicked trying to come up with what I thought they’d want to hear,” Rod replied.

“It’s not what they want to hear, Rod. It’s what you really believe and feel in your heart. Don’t be afraid of what they might think. Tell them how it is. If they can’t accept that, then you’re never going to ever make them happy. Both of them are very successful individuals and understand what you’re going to tell them. In fact, I would be shocked if they don’t think you’ve discovered how to work with people and get things done. I have to admit, you, Tyler and Lonnie have really accepted all of us, even though I believe you were a bit homophobic when we first met. You found out that we are all just people and we have so much in common other than sex, which is irrelevant between us. Tink was the only one that found out he loved us maybe more than he should, but he’d have discovered that sooner or later anyway, never having met us. We just helped him through a difficult time. Be honest and speak from the heart. I know I will, if asked,” I assured him.

“You see, that’s why you are a great leader and I’m more a follower. I’m sure I needed someone like you in my life to help me along, as I don’t have the fortitude you have to lead,” Rod commented.

“You do if you have a passion for what you want, Rod. Passion is what drives us all, and I’m not talking about sexual passion, but we all know how strong that is in driving us at times. If you have a passion for what you’re doing, or what you want to do, that’s what drives us to find ways to get there. I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, your dad and uncle totally understand passion in business. There is no doubt in my mind they do, or they wouldn’t be as successful as they are today,” I told him. Rod hung his head.

“I get it, Josh. I don’t know where my head was when Mary Ann tried to scare me when she asked me that question. I think you made that crystal clear. Now, if I can just keep from fucking it up when asked to explain it to them,” Rod replied.

“Rod, they understand that already. They’ll be proud of you for actually learning something so significant here at Uni, a true lesson in life,” I told him, patting him on the back.

“Gawd I hope you’re right. Feel free to chime in to help me out if you see me digging a hole for myself tonight,” Rod urged. I told him he’d be fine. “Damn, I was beginning to think I was going to have to give up my ass and dick for the sake of preserving our friendship there for a moment, but don’t think for a moment I wouldn’t have, as much as our friendship means to me and my guys,” Rod confessed. I smiled at him, then gave him a hug.

“I would never ask you to do anything in that regard that made you uncomfortable. You should know that by now. It is the love, respect and trust we have between us that keeps us great friends, nothing less and nothing more and certainly not sex. Besides I think Tyler is sexier anyway. I’d want him for sure,” I teased, making him bust out laughing.

“Tyler, it’s always Tyler. Damn, I can’t win for losing,” he said, with a big smile on his face, chuckling and shaking his head. If he only knew I was being honest with him making that statement. I gave him another hug.

“We good for tonight now?” I had to ask.

“We’re not only good, Josh. We’re damned good,” Rod said with conviction in his voice. I patted him on the back. I could tell he was greatly relieved after our robust conversation. I had to make him believe what he needed to say with total confidence and conviction.

We worked our butts off in Marketing, finishing up the marketing push and reviewing our introductory offers for new tenants. These would have to be discussed and approved by our new management company, but with the research we had completed, we felt like we were right where we needed to be price wise, more competitive than University housing, and we had the ultimate new facility that would wow any student wanting to attend Uni next year. We truly felt like we had the magic combination to attract more students than we could handle. I told our class, if our work had been that dynamic, then we just might have to build a second dormitory even nicer. They all gave me an applause for that.

After class, Mary Ann asked me what I did to Rod to restore his confidence in meeting with his father and uncle tonight. “I just helped him understand what he understood all along, and told him to speak from his heart. If he couldn’t do that, then what good was he and what good was our relationship we had together,” I told her.

“Wow, that’s all?” she asked.

“That’s all, Em. That’s all he needed to understand. He understands it, but needed the confidence to say it. I’m pretty sure he has that now,” I replied.

“Wow, I need to talk to you more often,” Mary Ann replied.

“No, you need to talk to Rod with conviction, have him assert himself. He needs to speak his heart and not try to figure out what it is that others want to hear. He needs to say how it is and let the chips fall where they may. With what he knows and understands, if what he says isn’t good enough, then he’s wasting his time trying to explain anything. He’ll be fine,” I told her.

“Shit, and he was agonizing all last night over tonight again. I told him he was always better off and more positive when he talked to you. I told him to talk to you first thing this morning. I was sure you’d set him straight,” Mary Ann replied.

“He doesn’t need to borrow my balls, Mary Ann. He just needs to speak from his heart. He knows what he feels, but just needs to express it with conviction and purpose. Don’t make him dependent on me. Help him to understand himself and find in his heart what he truly believes, then express that with conviction and even passion,” I told her before Rod caught up with her.

“Damn, why couldn’t you be straight. I would marry you in a heartbeat,” Mary Ann told me, giving me the willies.

“Sorry, but you’re not my type. I love you as my friend, but that’s it,” I reminded her.

“Not even if we got drunk together and tried it one time?” She asked, playfully.

“I could never get that drunk, Mary Ann. Not that you aren’t an attractive girl and I love you as my friend, but you just don’t have the right plumbing to make me happy. I’m so sorry, but that’s the way it has to be,” I replied.

“Damnit anyway. The great ones are never available,” she protested. I patted Rod on the shoulders as he just walked up and joined us, having talked to Ty about being here this summer and signing up to help.

“This one is pretty great in my book,” I said, as I patted Rod on his shoulder. Mary Ann smiled, although disappointed she couldn’t have me. Rod smiled, asking if he missed something. Mary Ann just chuckled.

“So, I let Ty know we were staying this summer, but were mainly helping your crew, Josh, and working on our house also, since it is definitely going to take some time to get that completed. Ty said if he needed anything, he’d check in with you,” Rod informed us.

“Did you tell him we were staying also?” Em asked Rod. Rod shrugged his shoulders.

“He doesn’t know Ginny and Sue, Em. He knows you’re staying, but he doesn’t know who Ginny and Sue are,” Rod explained. Mary Ann rolled her eyes.

“He doesn’t know who Lonnie, Tyler and Tink are also, but did you tell him about them?” Mary Ann asked. Rod looked guilty, shaking his head ‘yes’. “Oh, for Heaven’s sake, Rod. Never mind, I’ll fill him in,” Em stated, as she ran off to tell Ty, in a huff, about her BFF’s.

“Guess I messed up,” Rod told us, sheepishly. We all smiled at him, but knew dang well that’s what he bargained for when he got himself a steady girlfriend.

I told Rod we’d see him tonight after he visited with his uncle and father at his house, but to text me when they were coming to the CNB. Rod looked a little nervous again. “Balls, Rod. Big balls. I know you can find them so put them on and use them,” I teased. He smiled then grabbed his package as if to indicate he had big balls. We all laughed, telling him everything would be fine.

Cam surprised me, attending our luncheon meeting. I gave him a big hug. He said he felt much better after spending time with us last night. I didn’t elaborate, but Jake, Blake and I knew he was referring to the drunken love fest we all had in the shower last night. I think it made us all feel better after that happened. We weren’t embarrassed to show our love for one another in the least. It was certainly a stress reliever if there ever was one.

“Are you okay working today?” I had to ask him after a long tight hug.

“I’m raring to go again, Josh. The stress of Dad’s illness is over and it’s time to move on. I need to get back to the business of Stoney Enterprises once more and give you everything I’ve got,” he stated proudly. I told him that was great, but if he needed any time at all for his mother to just take whatever he needed. Jordan said he told him that also.

“Jules is to meet with us tomorrow afternoon with the attorneys from the AG’s office and special agents from the FBI. Just wanted to remind you of that,” Jordan said, reminding us of the impending visit by Jules once again. Will shook his head.

“Did he set the date or did you guys?” Will asked.

“That’s the first he thought he could get here was Wednesday afternoon,” Jordan stated, pissing off Will.

“He’s doing it again, Josh. He’ll keep doing it until you put your foot down and stop him,” Will said, with an air of pissyness. I had to smile. “You laugh, but he knows you have Ladies’ Night on Wednesday nights, and you’re always short of help, so he’ll insert himself into the family once more to ‘help out’, doing you a ‘big’ favor, then get drunk and have to sleep over, offering his ass once again for your dicks, and probably settling for Dylan or whoever he can get to screw him or someone he can screw. That lets him sleep in your apartment very close to you and possibly be naked around you in the showers, thus building up his intimacy capital with you and Jake. What a worm. Do you not see this?” Will asked, agitated.

“It’s not the end of the world, Will. He’s not sleeping with Jake and me. That’s not going to happen. We’re kind of stuck here until we get this financing thing resolved to where the feds and state AG’s office get what they need to prosecute Hastings and Dickerson. I can’t just kick him out when he’s doing us a favor like he is, and a kind of dangerous one at that,” I explained. Will rolled his eyes.

“I know, I’m sorry. This thing can’t be over soon enough. Knowing him, he’ll prolong it as long as he can just because of the perks he seems to be getting helping us out. Why couldn’t’ someone else been in his position instead of him? The dude will never be gone. He’s going to make himself as indispensable as possible so we can never get rid of him,” Will stated.

“This won’t last forever, Will. It has to come to a conclusion soon enough. In the meantime, we just have to grin and bare it and hope to contain him as much as possible. He’s not getting any closer to us, so quit worrying,” I told Will, patting him on his shoulder.

“You don’t know the dude like I do, Josh. That’s easier said than done. But, that just means I have another nice quiet Wednesday night with Forest and not have to help out with screaming bitches. My gain, your loss. Double loss as you get Jules along with the screaming bitches,” Will chided. I rolled my eyes at him.

Bill Anderson, our new real estate professor asked how Key West was coming when Blake and I arrived at Real Estate class. We told him we were finishing up the permitting process at the moment and hoped to start construction in the next couple of weeks. We thought maybe our contractor was coming up later this week to meet with us and go over the final details. Bill was kind of excited to hear that.

“Don’t suppose I could sneak down there sometime and stay at your current resort and look over what you have planned for the new place?” Bill asked.

“Not a place to take your trophy girlfriend, Bill, if that’s what you had in mind,” I told him.

“Who wants to take a girl to a playground for men. I just might need a little R&R myself without any strings attached. A guy could get lucky there, I’m told,” Bill replied. Blake and I smiled. I told him it depended on who he wanted to get lucky with. “I kind of had in mind a more masculine type of luckiness, if you know what I mean.” I told him I kind of thought that’s what he had in mind. He chuckled, saying might as well take advantage of the hospitality offered to him and see what came up. Blake and I laughed, but told him he was bound to have fun.

Swim practice was brutal again, as we pushed hard to increase our times. Zach, Ethan and I really made the effort to go the distance, getting close to the championship matches. I wondered if Max and his team were as into winning this year as we were. I was in hopes we would still be victorious and fuck Max’s sweet ass for the second year in a row. Then, I wondered if Max was looking forward to that. That question would only be answered by the competition we had with State. I so wanted to win and wanted Zach and Ethan both to do well.

I had to admit, I was a little nervous after swim practice, not knowing what to expect from the two fathers that were sure to have arrived at Rod’s and were going through the transformation taking place in the original dump they purchased for their sons and friend. I could only hope they were pleased with what was going on. Although I gave Rod enough shit about having big balls and being ballsy, I had to admit, I was a little unsure as to what to expect myself. I mean these guys were giants in industry. I wasn’t sure if they were down to earth guys, kind, understanding, open-minded businessmen or possibly ruthless tycoons. I figured they didn’t get to be where they were by being passive. There had to be some strong drive and energy to the two. I was hoping it would all be positive.

I finally got the text from Rod they were on their way to the CNB. He said all was okay so far. They liked the house and what the guys were doing to it. Jake and I kind of paced the floor in anticipation of their soon arrival. We watched the parking lot and two guys in suits get out of a Cadillac Escalade, the kind of vehicle secret service guys use for a Presidential motorcade. At least they traveled in style. Seven guys, Rod, Tyler, Lonnie, Tink and Luke, along with two older men in suits, piled out of the vehicle and started walking across the parking lot. They stopped in the middle of the parking lot, as they looked over towards the new office building, Rod pointing it out to them. The moment of truth had come when these seven guys walked through the front door of our establishment. They looked somewhat in awe when they saw our bar area and the interior of the CNB.

“This is a cool place, guys,” one of the older nice-looking gentleman said. Jake and I were there to meet them and be introduced. Blake was close by, along with Kyle, just in case we needed support. Rod spoke up as the two fathers saw Jake and me.

“Dad this is Jake and Josh. They’re the two guys primarily responsible for our newfound maturity and interest in business,” Rod said, introducing us.

“So pleased to meet someone who finally straightened out our off spring and somewhat brought them into adulthood. I have to tell you, we weren’t sure what to expect today when we dropped by their house. Wow, were we ever surprised to see what they’ve been up to and how nice it’s starting to look. I’m Sterling Hathaway, by the way, Rod’s father, and this is my brother Milton Hathaway, Tyler and Landon’s father. We’re not sure who Lonnie’s father is as he’s practically been living at our houses most of his life. We’re very pleased to meet the two of you and see this great establishment you’ve created here,” Rod’s father stated. Jake and I shook hands with them and told them it was our pleasure to finally meet them.

“The girls should be here anytime. I texted Mary Ann and told them to meet us here by now,” Rod stated. I welcomed them again, then ushered them to a special table we had for this many that would be having dinner with us tonight. Eric showed up promptly to take drink orders, right as Mary Ann, Sue and Ginny showed up. The fathers stood up again to meet the ladies, saying how nice they looked and how happy their guys were to see them. We stood there and talked for some time in a small group. The ladies were their bubbly, friendly self, seemingly excited to meet the dads of the sons they were dating. Rod, Tyler and Lonnie couldn’t have been happier to share their girlfriends with the two dads. Everyone seemed happy.

Eric soon arrived with the drinks along with Trent to help him. Trent teased Tink some, since Tink was a server himself, tonight being served by Trent. “You must have made an impression with one of the waiters, Son,” Milton said to Tink, noticing the teasing Trent gave Tink.

“Trent is a great guy and taught me everything I needed to know about serving here, Dad. He’s a great friend, along with most of the guys that work here. Eric is the manager, so you’re getting VIP treatment tonight,” Tink replied, Milton acting like he was very impressed.

“So tell us Josh and Jake, what it’s like having our sons, and then Lonnie, work for you guys? Do they show up for work on time and do their jobs respectfully?” Sterling asked, as if he was anxious to know what the employer of their son’s first jobs thought about their performance. I had to chuckle.

“Actually, they all do a great job and are well accepted as members of the team. The customers all like them, and they are tipped very well. These three ladies tip them exceedingly well, I have to say,” I replied, seemingly pleasing Milton and Sterling.

“Great to know. We were never quite sure what these guys would be like working for someone that required accountability. Glad to know they survived the test. I have to say, I’m somewhat impressed, not that I ever doubted it could happen, I’m just happy that it did and it worked out well,” Sterling replied.

“There are a couple of nights a week that we’re really busy, and I have to say the customers all think these guys are great. They have many fans, let’s put it that way,” Jake added, to some smiling fathers.

Fritz had prepared a special menu for us to order off of, which created some excitement. Dinner and the conversation was very positive, the girls fawning over the fathers as if they were celebrities and just as good looking as their sons, really schmoozing the older gentlemen in their early 50’s. We had some very pleasant back and forths, the girls asking about the boys when they were growing up. I heard Sterling say their good looks and their behaviors came from their mothers as he and Milton were always working it seemed. The boys differed with their opinions, of course, saying they definitely got their business savvy and desire to create wealth from their fathers. Milton said, that up until tonight, he didn’t think they had any interest in business or creation of wealth, only receiving allowances, drinking and having fun. He said his opinion had changed dramatically since they arrived today and learned what all the boys had been up to this year.

I explained their keen interest in our businesses we were developing, and the involvement of the girls in our marketing strategies for the dormitory and the design work going on there also, along with a new resort we were building in Key West which Tyler was definitely excited about restoring and the girls were excited about all the furnishings and fabrics that could be used to bring out is original opulence. Milton and Sterling said they were intrigued by all the unique businesses they’d been hearing about that we were developing or operating.

“You know, you have quite a diverse portfolio of businesses, Josh. The boys have told us a little about how all this came about, but I think Sterling and I are intrigued as to how all this started and got you to where you are today,” Milton asked. I smiled.

I told them the story of how a few of us pooled our money together to by a neighborhood rundown bar in the City, that turned into a money maker. I had a friend who I had helped through some rough times, who just happened to be our head coach of our Uni basketball team now, a name both recognized and praised for his talents as a coach. They told me they had seen me on TV at the national championship game, and were extremely impressed with the outcome, praising all of us that were involved and all the team members. They couldn’t imagine Tuck having personal problems as talented a coach as he was. I told them I was his little brother in our sports fraternity and we became quite close. At one point in his life, he hated himself and those around him. I tormented him to the point he gave up on being indignant to others and mellowed. I told him his parents were almost evil with what they wanted him to do with his life. I told them I convinced him to be his own man, the architect of his own destiny, and not rely on them to control his life. I told them after he realized their control was what was making him miserable, and he finally took control, including staying out of DC politics and a miserable social and family life there with a supposed arranged marriage, he became an extremely talented coach and leader of men. I told them he was marrying a beautiful wonderful woman this summer, and I was going to be his best man at his wedding being his little brother for life. I had to say Sterling and Milton were extremely impressed.

“Anyway, I digress. Tuck was so thrilled at our friendship and my positive affect on him, that he gave me a tidy sum of money one year for Christmas from his trust account to show his appreciation, and that was mostly what we used to start our business that turned into gold in the City. Then the City made so much money we either paid large taxes or reinvested it into another business. Thus, we started the CNB here and bought this building for a small amount of money, figuring we’d lose money the first year, but could break even with the proceeds from the bar in the City. I’m excited to say, this bar made us a ton of money also. We haven’t lost a thing. Anyway, we met a guy at our bar in the City that was very well off and ran a cattle feeding operation over there we call the ranch. His name was Stoney if that rings a bell, since our company is named after him today. He was always admiring our leadership and management style. Unbeknown to us at the time he really liked what we had created and was looking to find a partner to succeed him when he retired that could fulfill the vision of building a bigger and more diverse company over the years. We didn’t know it at the time, but he was dying of cancer and was in a hurry to train a successor. He had me to the East and West coasts to see what business he showed to us that he owned. Then he told us one day he was going on a trip for fun and everything was in our hands. He could be reached in emergencies, but not to bug him unless it was a dire emergency. I have to admit, and Jake will back me up, that really concerned me at the time. Now we had an attorney that I introduced to Stoney on staff, and hired another one, plus put together some admin infrastructure with their help that was keeping us going and starting to consolidate entities that we knew of. Stoney liked to leave us little surprises, even in death, which we continue to find. We found out this last year that we own a equity investment firm that owns controlling interests in a number of companies we didn’t have a clue about. I’m not sure Stoney knew we owned all the shares of that company, but we do, and it’s damned lucrative. Stoney passed and his entire fortune came into the company that merged our little company into his, leaving Jake and I controlling interest in Stoney Enterprises. That’s how we got to be who we are today. Stoney is responsible for most of it and gave us the inspiration and desire to fulfill his dreams and ours. We didn’t know we owned a resort until we visited him in Key West on his death bed. Like I said, little surprises keep popping up that we’re finding. I think we have most of them now, but then again, we’re never quite sure,” I said, chuckling.

“What an amazing story. According to what the boys have told us and we’ve checked out over the last few months, not knowing who the hell they were talking about, you own resorts, pubs, this new dormitory Mary Ann and you and Rod are working on in your extremely well thought out marketing class, that I’m excited to hear about and thrilled that Rod is involved in, as I think he’ll get more out of that one class, plus hands on experience, then all the rest of his college curriculum. I am so impressed that Uni could offer such a fantastic program, one that should be hailed by all business schools in all universities,” Sterling commented. “I heard you even have an aviation company, Stoney Air?” Sterling asked. I smiled.

“We have a Cessna 310, two King Air turbo prop planes that we domicile in Uni and lease back to the University when we’re not using them, then I think five Cessna Citations in the City and we’re working on getting a Falcon Tri-jet as our corporate lease program demands larger passenger numbers. We have a shared lease program with a lot of corporations that pay a monthly lease on our planes for a number of hours to travel per month to use our planes and pilots. It’s much less expensive than to have their own aviation departments when we’re at their beckon call. We have two pilots in their early 20’s that came up with that strategy and it’s proven to be extremely profitable for us. That department is growing by leaps and bounds,” I explained.

“Damn, Sterling, we should look into that, as our department is very expensive to operate for the number of hours we use it,” Milton explained with Sterling agreeing.

“When we finish dinner, we’ll go over to our new corporate office building and give you a tour of our two floors and the layout of Stoney Enterprises now and in the future. There was a shortage of office space in this town and we needed to expand ourselves so we built an office building on the land we already owned, right here at the end of our parking lot. The first six floors pay for the building, thus giving us free office space for Stoney Enterprises. Now that will change as we move more tenants out to take over their space for us as we grown. However, we’re even looking at another office building site to build more space, as the market is still tight. Not only that, but ours is the state of the art, compared to what’s available in town,” I told them, blowing our horn.

“Needless to say, you guys have extremely bright business minds and some damn good talent on staff,” Sterling commented, with Milton agreeing wholeheartedly.

Realizing we were talking too much business and not being social enough with the girls, the conversation changed somewhat, the dads asking more questions about what they had in mind for their futures. That got them to participate in the conversations allowing the dads to size them up some, probably to see if they were sincere about their goals and aspirations and not just wanting to date guys with rich fathers. The girls gave them indication they were not gold diggers by any means. I was actually impressed by their answers about their aspirations and goals, which somewhat paralleled ours. They held their own with the dads, which seemed to please them. And they dished out a reasonable amount of charm which won them over also.

Fritz had prepared an excellent meal for us, really trying to overdo it, which he succeeded wholeheartedly. I bragged on him some. Both Sterling and Milton said that had to be a five-star restaurant dinner we just had, and were surprised it was in a bar pub. I told them we were lucky to have a partnership with an excellent chef that could be a chef in some of the best restaurants in the world, but loved being part of our organization, which I told the dads, we gave him an equity position in his food service part of the business.

“Now see, Milton. That’s how you attract good talent. Give them stock options or an equity position. Way to go boys. I swear you’ve thought of everything. I am so impressed,” Sterling commented. I had Eric fetch Fritz to introduce him to the dads. They were most impressed with him, offering him a job anytime with their corporation. Fritz said he was honored and appreciated their kind words but he just loved working with us. “Well, that’s loyalty if there ever was any,” Sterling added. Fritz was almost embarrassed with their praise. Oh, and they loved his honey crescent rolls also, his signature dish he loved to share. Even the girls were overwhelmed with Fritz’s accommodations for dinner, saying they should come more often for dinner. I jokingly told them I couldn’t afford them if that happened. The dads laughed. I told them they were more like sisters, pestering me at times. They got a kick out of that.

We needed to walk off dinner and the couple of beers we had, the dads, however, drinking Scotch, an alcohol I could never develop a taste for. But, to an older crowd it was preferred along with refined Bourbons or Whiskeys. Beer was fine for us college boys for sure. We left the CNB and walked across the parking lot to the office building. I used my phone to get us inside the lobby and then to the elevator to the 8th floor. The dads were extremely impressed with our security of the building, and noted it could be maintained with a minimal security staff, using one’s phone to get places instead of keys.

I noticed some of the lights on in our executive suite. Hearing voices from Will’s office area, I popped in to see he and Logan working on the dormitory project, going over a scheduling list for next steps with start dates, outcomes and completion times, plus assigned responsibilities. I quickly introduced the dads to Will and Logan, explaining Will was our VP of operations and Logan was the key manager and startup guy for the managing partner of the dormitory. The dads were impressed they were working late. I told them we had a minimal amount of time to get things going to be open in the fall. They understood deadlines completely, but were impressed nonetheless.

I gave them a brief tour of Jake’s and my offices, which blew them away, saying we had some pretty nice digs. I told them about our architect and how talented he was for making things look expensive when they weren’t. They wanted his name and number. We made our way into the conference room finally and got comfortable around the conference table in our cushy chairs. Sterling said we had the makings of a Fortune 500 corporate board room, as some of them weren’t this nice. We laughed, but he said he was serious. He loved our chairs, joking these were comfortable enough to sit through boring presentations, making us laugh.

I fired up the PowerPoint presentation Will put together for us, outlining the various divisions, leaving the crude names out of our entertainment division, but noting them as pubs or resorts. I also gave them a proposed Org Chart we were working on trying to fill as we expanded. They both said we were on the right track, but were extremely impressed with our current low overhead to sale receipts. I told them we were adding staff that had to meet our criteria of wanting to work for us and be a part of our organization, then earn stock in the company with proceeds from their earnings for working, thus participating in the returns they helped create. That really got their interest.

“Do you realize, at just your current rate of growth, Josh, what that could mean for an individual that starts with you today, ten, or even five years from now?” Milton asked. I smiled.

“Stoney had certain requests of us for taking over the organization and running it like he dreamed it needed to be run. First and foremost, we all had to finish college and graduate. Secondly, he wanted us to continue to compete in sports we were already in to experience competition which helped drive creativity. More than anything he wanted us to bring along those that shared the same values and hunger to achieve as part of our organization, employing them, nurturing them and give them a future they could be proud of and an organization that could be proud of them, and let them partake in part of the earnings they helped create. To date, we’ve been extremely successful in fulfilling those goals, and we will continue to make them our priority as long as Jake and I have any say in it We accept new shareholders every so often once we see how someone fits in the organization and that their goals and aspirations line up with ours,” I explained. Milton and Sterling both said how impressed they were with everything they had seen, telling us we were going to be extremely successful, possibly way beyond our current comprehension because of all the companies they’d dealt with, taken over and tried to operate or even spin off, ours seemed to be the most impressive they’d seen yet. They said there were others that were extremely profitable, but were tyrants to their employees, lacked character to be accepted in the normal business realm, or were just plain ignorant to employee contributions and needs. We seemed to have a magic formula. They asked if any of our shareholders, to date, had wanted to sell their stock back.

“We’ve had two to date. One was out of grief for losing Stoney who didn’t think he could continue with the company anymore, needing to get out of the business altogether, but he’s since recanted and rejoined the company in a lessor role and we put him on a board of our equity financing company in Chicago, so he can stay up with what we’re doing. He lives in Key West currently and has been a big help to us down there with our building plans. The other was a lost individual that left for personal reasons, that again, we’ve accepted back. So two left, but the same two returned saying they’d made a huge mistake. So, I guess we’re doing something right,” I replied.

“Oh, I’d say you’re doing a hell of a lot right from what we’ve seen. You guys are a textbook model of what a first-class corporation could, and should, be like,” Sterling commented. I thanked him for his comment, saying coming from him, that made us feel like we had indeed accomplished something right. He said we really had.

“Milton and I need to be taking off soon, but there are a few things I need to share with all of you before we go. First of all, from a business standpoint, Rod has kept us informed, although nothing like we’ve been briefed on since we’ve been here today,” Sterling started to say, with Rod rolling his eyes. “We were impressed with what your Professor Ty has done with Uni’s marketing program, namely with your dormitory project and the inclusion of such creative minds to formulate a marketing strategy for this new entity. I think Milton and I are just blown away how extraordinary, meaningful and powerful this program has become. I’m sure Professor Ty hasn’t mentioned our visit this afternoon to you guys, because we swore him to secrecy on our meeting until we could discuss some ideas with him we had in mind. We proposed to him a rather large grant to the business school, earmarked for Marketing for him to expand the program offered here at Uni and help to mold and shape management of the future for our corporate entities and others. I think this program has extreme merit in helping to create future leaders needed in the business world. Will they all make it to the heights they’d like to be? Ah, probably not, but if we can create some extremely creative and innovative minds for the business future, that goes a long way to helping our organizations. Ty is going to get back to us on our proposal, although he’s extremely excited about it at the moment. I wouldn’t mind incorporating some of your ideas you have at Stoney Enterprises into future business models in companies we own and operate, Josh. We’re both really impressed at what you’ve accomplished and what we see you can accomplish with the character exuded in the company so far. You and your staffs are to be commended for your management efforts so far, which promise even greater successes in the future. Anyway, that’s what our business interest in our trip to Uni today was about. I’m sure Ty will share more about what we proposed with you all, and we encouraged him to do so.

“Wow, I’m sure he’ll be excited to no end with someone like the two of you admiring his work and wanting to help support it in the future,” I commented.

“Well, let’s hope so anyway, but we’ll see. He might have a different approach in mind, which let me say, we’d be open to anything that would help us create better executives in the future. Our second purpose for this visit was to see how our boys were adjusting to college life and what life lessons they’d learned so far. I’m sure they told you, Josh and Jake, that we were somewhat hard on them, giving them a broken down house to live in and limited spending funds so they couldn’t drink their food money. Let me just say, our expectations, based on previous behavior was not that great, but Milton and I were in hopes that improvements in their lives may have been made. Thankfully, they have, way beyond our expectations, just let us say. We half expected to see them living in filth with beer bottles all over the place, women coming and going with no serous relationships, grades just to get by with, not working at anything they could excel at for beer money. In essence, unmotivated, uninspired, lazy, womanizing type behavior, partying and getting drunk, possibly even making stag videos for kicks, giggles and beer money. I know it's sad to think we could ever think our kids could possibly behave that way. However past experience has taught Milt and I lessons in that area. We were really concerned about Landon coming to join them this year after last year. Nevertheless, our whole opinion has completely changed now that we’ve visited them. They are industrious, creative individuals with steady, and I might add, very beautiful girlfriends that share their same values, goals and aspirations. They are working for not only beer money, although they probably mooch off of you, it wouldn’t surprise me, Josh, but somehow convinced you they could create wealth by not living in filth, but remodeling the house they live in and creating a great property to flip, creating wealth and a project they could work together to achieve, not only them, but you, their friends, and their girlfriends who share their interests there. I’m telling you, we did not expect anything as miraculous as what we’ve witnessed with our trip to Uni today. We’re both blown away, and we can’t wait to tell their mothers this exciting news,” Sterling commented.

“By the way, Josh, I don’t know how they convinced you to finance their rehab project, which promises to be fantastic at least, knowing you couldn’t have any collateral interest in the project. As a business man, I’d think you lost your mind and were ignorant of the risks you took. How did they convince you to finance this project, which by the way, we’ll take you out of it and finance it ourselves, as it’s a good investment, and you don’t need to do that for them,” Milton jumped in.

“Rod and I got to know one another in Marketing, Ty’s class. He was extremely impressed with what we had created in Stoney Enterprises. He told me he desperately wished he and his bros could do something to show their fathers they were mature enough to create things and make money, and possibly earn the right to have a car on campus to use. They really want a pickup truck to haul building supplies,” I commented, trying to help them out. The dads said that made perfect economical sense and they’d consider it. “They said they didn’t like living where they were forced to live. I gave them my speech that man is the architect of his own destiny and if they didn’t like something, maybe they should be creative enough to come up with a way to change it. By the way, I told them the stag video thing was not a good way to make money,” I said, making everyone laugh. The dads said they’d thank me for that, as they were sure one of those crazy things would show up later in their lives. If they only knew. “Anyway, we gave them all a job to help them earn money for additional food and occasional beer, although they do drink a lot of ours, and so do their girlfriends,” I chided, again getting laughs and some protests from the girls, saying they liked Cosmos better. “They showed me they were committed to doing the rehab project as a way to show their families they were resourceful in creating wealth. I guess we saw in them, as we got to know them, that they shared a lot of the same goals and aspirations that we did at Stoney Enterprises. Anyway, we’ve worked together and shown each other what friendship and belief in one another can do. We’re proud to have them as our friends. You’ve commented on our business character and what we look for. We found that in our friends and their girlfriends also,” I replied.

“Josh, there’s something I need to ask you, and I don’t want to offend you in anyway, as I find your character commendable and to be treasured, but I am curious about something very important to us. Do you think that being gay has held you back in any way or have you experienced any discrimination so far in your business dealings with anyone, or has everyone treated you as an equal basically ignoring that a considerable number of shareholders in your company and employees are gay?” Sterling asked.

“Jesus Christ, Dad. Why that fucked up question? There isn’t a better friend in the world to all of us than, Josh, Jake and all their friends, shareholders, employees. There was a time when I wouldn’t be caught dead talking to a gay person. Tyler, Lonnie and I called them faggots in high school. I didn’t think I could ever talk to one, yet ever befriend one. Working with Josh has shown me that you look beyond things like that and look for character. There’s no shame in being gay for shit’s sake, and I resent the fact you think there is. Josh believed in us when we didn’t believe in ourselves. He saw untapped, and yes, wasted potential also. He encouraged us to be who we thought we wanted to be, not just think about it, but do something about it. We didn’t even believe in ourselves, and yes, you were right, we were at one time that which you, up until today, envisioned us to be. We were wasting away our potential. Josh, Jake and their friends, involved in Stoney Enterprises, helped us rise above all our uselessness and try to make something out of ourselves. Josh and Jake are the greatest, Dad, and completely turned our lives around from meaningless turds to productive young men with goals, aspirations and visions. He even helped me lure Mary Ann into being my girlfriend. He’s one hell of a wingman, let me tell you. But then women seem attracted to gay men because they can’t have them. Thank goodness for that, because Mary Ann would have left me in a heartbeat for Josh if he’d just said the word,” Rod interjected.

“That’s not really true, Rod. Although I can’t say I haven’t thought about it,” Em replied to some chuckling.

“Gay, straight, we don’t see any of that anymore. People are recognized for their character and their deeds, and I’d take a bullet for both of these guys, that’s how important they are in my life and our lives these days,” Rod said, with the greatest conviction.

“Easy, Son. I didn’t mean it to come out that way. We both share your admiration for who these two are and their leadership accomplishments. I was merely asking if they felt any sort of discrimination at any time or if they feel established and respected enough any sort of that ignorant disrespect rolls off. Our companies are very diverse, and we work with gay men and women in our ranks at all levels of management. Milton and I were just talking the other day how we actually think our gay members of management are more creative and tolerant of others, in a sense. It pleases us both to know our sons respect Josh, Jake and their team for the great leaders they are and for their compassion for their friends. We are both in awe of what’s been done here and the motivation behind it. We feel so fortunate that their leadership skills and motivation have rubbed off on you guys and helped you find a way to productive maturity. We’re almost ecstatic over it,” Sterling commented, trying to help Rod understand how much they really did approve of ourselves and our company.

“Dad, uncle, you couldn’t find more dedicated friends that cared so much about our success and have helped us every step of the way. We were really kind of pathetic before we met them. So much has changed, and we are so much for the better since meeting them and them helping us to be passionate about our work and our accomplishments. We owe all our accomplishments and success to these guys, our really true friends,” Tyler chimed in.

“Landon, what’s been your experience with this group? You are working more hours for them than the rest of the guys. Do you have anything to say about your experience and growth since meeting this group of great guys?” Milton asked.

“Oh, I have a lot to say about my happiness since meeting these guys,” Tink replied, charged up and ready to go, after being silent most of the night, letting the others talk.

Oh yes, FT, nicely done, leaving us in suspense like that!

The fathers' visit seems to be going well so far. They're impressed with SE and with Josh's management style, and they certainly seem to be gay friendly. Looks like Tink is about to come out to them. How will they take that revelation? Given the conversation so far, we'd have to think they'll be accepting. But we also know you're full of surprises, FT, so anything might happen! Can't wait!

Cheers, HF

Chapter 632 was full of funny (even sexy) bits, even though Hal died.
From Shelley's huge dildo Clay found in her nightstand, to Em trying to find if every new hired man Josh introduces to her is gay or straight
Dennis planning to open his already threesome relationship to some new dicks and asses, because why not? (group)
Andy thinking about the future of his team and how Auggie will fit perfectly, both in the team and in Les' :rotflmao:
Then the bad news about Hal's death and how Kyle took it more heavily than Cam, but both finding a much needed relief in the Bent's boy company, in the beer, in the shower after the beer and in in the fun during the shower ;)
On a more serious note, the moment oustide the bar with Josh, Cam and Kyle looking at the stars, Josh telling them about his grandfather's passing and the shooting star was beautiful and moving :=D:

Chapter 633 was a long build up, mostly thanks to Rod's nerves, on how bad the family's visit would go and nothing tragic happened... until the big final cliffhanger. What will Tink say to his father and uncle? I agree with HF thinking that Rod's father and uncles will accept Tink's coming out and there won't be that much drama, but I'm not writing it so, FT, it's up to you to surprise us

Can't wait :corn:

And as always, great work ..| so keep it coming FT, keep it cumming ..|

Totally agree with my bent bros, HF and Thanatos. This chapter was a big build up to the big meeting of the dads. I liked that way Josh took on Rod. He challenged him to really think about what he stood for and to stand up for the friendship they had together, and not wimp out. Even Mary Ann seemed concerned whether Rod could really explain the relationship he and his straight buds had with the gay boys. Rod did defend his friends being gay, even though it appeared he didn't need to, misreading his father's question to Josh. I think he was cocked and loaded for the argument, and pulled the trigger not really having to, as the dads seemed okay with everything, even saying they thought their gay managers were sharper in ways than some of the rest of the guys. Seems as if the dads had an open mind. Now, will it be open enough to accept Tink as being gay???? Well, that remains to be seen. Hopefully, that's in this chapter right after the cliff hanger you left us yet again, FT. But that's okay, as it's kind of fun. Hopefully, there is some comic relief after the dads depart.

Hopefully, the we'll find out what the dads were doing meeting with someone on campus to seek some kind of resources for their own companies. Could be interesting. So much going on and coming up. I'm anxious to read how this all plays out.

Will still believes that Jules is trying to worm his way into Josh's inner circle and is working all the angles to get there. Will is somewhat frustrated with Josh for putting up with it, even though Josh doesn't have much of a choice until they all get what they need from the investigation they have going with Jules being the key player in getting the information. Will needs to be a little more tolerant with Josh having to work with Jules until that all is resolved. Something is going to have to give before this is all over.

Keep up the great work, FT. We continue to live in this great world you've created. We don't ever want it to go away. BC

FT Bro!

I've formed a vague idea about what kind of business you have going for yourself. Odds are I'm totally wrong. What I do know is that being your own boss, and having to herd all kinds of cats, is much harder, and more time consuming, than working for someone else. I also know that you have to love what you do, at least on some level, to have taken it on in the first place, and to keep going at it, no matter what. I also have a strong impression that it's not the $ that's at the top of the list of reasons for you doing what you do.

That said, I have to let you know how much all of us appreciate what you've given, and continue to give us. I know that writing can be a way to relax, and escape. I know it can help relieve some of the pressure. You're writing is helping all of us, too! THANK YOU!!

FT said:
I know, I left you with another cliffhanger. Sorry about that, but it just kind of happens that way.

Yeah! We may razz you about cliffhangers, butt that's more in jest than anything else. The cliffhanger is an art form all in it's own right. This one is no different, timed 'just right', at an 'edge of the seat' moment in the story. You've cranked the roller coaster to the top of the drop, and handed it over to Tink for the plunge! (!w!)

SO ... Take Good Care of Yourself First! ..|

And, then ...

MORE Please!! :gogirl: (*8*)
Chaz :luv:

Totally agree with HF, Thanatos, BC, and Chaz's comments about this chapter.

Rods father and Uncle were very impressed with Josh personally and SE in general. I'm sure they investigated everything about SE they could and probably know more about them than they say.

I am on pins and needles to find out what Tink said about his happiness since meeting Josh.

I'm excited for the next installment whether it be tonight(Saturday) or another day.

Brian

Hey, thanks for all the great comments on this last chapter, and that was two for you, Thanatos. Thanks, Chaz, for your kind comments also. I do have a passion for my business and am very supportive of my employees. If you're going to work for me, I have to care about you. Don't know why that is, but it's been that way all my adult business career. I think that thinking is kind of reflected in this story. At least I hope it comes off that way. Haven't made much money in this business, and at times, particularly these days with inflation and gas prices strangling all of us, it's even more difficult for small businesses. I'm trying to sell the business at a loss to me, but it's time to get out of it. I have a buyer, but it's a chore to get everything put together and I think even he has cold feet buying the business, but let's hope it happens. It's been stressful lately to say the least. It helps to lose myself with Josh and his friends.

Our story takes a different twist in this next chapter. Yes,you get your answer on Tink, but then our old friend Conner has problems he has to deal with. I hope I did it justice and didn't go too overboard with this one. Let me know what you think. I hope all of you have a great rest of your weekend and a great new week. I'll try to be back to you Wednesday if at all possible. Please stay Healthy, Safe and Happy. Huggs, FT

Chapter 634 – Mellowing Out After the Big Meeting then Conner Has Bad News

Landon, better known as Tink by all of us, was asked by his father to talk about his relationship with us and what valuable lesson or lessons he’d learned after his association and friendship with us, working with us closely as his job as a server at the CNB. I don’t think we were all prepared for what he was about to say.

“First of all, I want to thank Josh, Jake, my pal Luke here, and all my brothers that have befriended me and cared about me since they all accepted me as a friend and taught me how powerful friendship could be when you all supported one another. I’ve never felt this accepted anywhere I’ve ever been. I never felt comfortable in high school, like I was different from all the other kids somehow. Oh, I know, I wasn’t that much different, but I wasn’t horned up chasing girls continually and lying to them just to get in their pants like my brother and cousin Rod were doing, not to mention the craziest of all just because he had a big dick, that’d be Lonnie,” Tink said, although everyone was holding their breath as to what might come next.

“Language, Landon,” his father warned.

“I was once Landon, even sometimes Lanny or Lan for short, and then I was branded Tinker Bell by Rod, Tyler and Lonnie, because I was different from them. I always admired their athletic abilities and their way with the fairer sex, girls fawning over them all the time, as if the rest of us guys didn’t exist. When I was able to connect with a girl, I found them difficult to talk to and really wasn’t impressed with all their bullshit fakeness and craziness. I’d much rather hang with my buds and do guy stuff, not pretending to hang on their every word as if it all mattered when it was all bullshit anyway. Tyler, Rod and Lonnie were that way, but it was so fake and wasn’t me. I was looking for deeper meaning and understanding people and relationships, not just trying to score, like the rest of the guys,” Tink continued, obviously making Tyler, Rod and Lonnie squirm some.

“We were trying to make money to supplement our living allowances that were tight, obviously by design, which now, I can appreciate what our dads were trying to teach us. Josh offered us employment as a way to earn money so we could drink beer occasionally and have a little left over. During my work at the CNB I was greatly impressed by all the guys that were working together for the benefit of Stoney Enterprises, some gay, some straight. They were all genuine guys, no facades, no pretentiousness, as most of them are poor and this is a way for them to lift themselves up, get their education paid for, have a place to live with guys that respected them and they respected. And they had a place to work after they graduate and partake in the profits they helped produce. I thought, where the hell else could you do something like that. I thought I found the most fantastic place to work and to enjoy the fraternity of friends that I longed to have, those that understood me, the guy that wanted just to feel like he belonged and didn’t have to put on an act to be accepted. I could be a real person and have genuine caring friends. During that time, Dad and Uncle, I discovered who I really was and what I loved in life more than anything. Actually, I was someone that Lonnie, Tyler and Rod were always accusing me of anyway, so I guess it was finally true. I’m gay, Dad and I have no remorse or no shame for being gay. In fact, I’m rather proud of the fact I am, and I’ve found a family that will support me and care about me. Luke is my boyfriend, and we genuinely love each other far beyond anyone’s imagination. I couldn’t be happier now and have never been this happy before in my life. I have a family of guys that truly care about me and will support me in all my goals and endeavors, and that’s made me the happiest guy on the planet in my mind,” Tink said, laying it all out. I thought Rod, Tyler and Lonnie were going to faint, but to my delight, Tyler spoke up.

“I had a long talk with Tink on several different occasions, sometimes arguments, to see if this was really something he believed or if it was a passing phase, Dad. I have to say, he’s never been happier. He and Luke really love one another and support and care for one another as if they were a very much in love heterosexual couple. I know this may come as a shock to you, as it certainly did to me, when he first came out to me, but Tink has a very strong conviction of being gay and supporting those that are. He’s extremely happy and very supportive. Plus he has all of Josh’s organization behind him supporting him. He will never be an outcast because of their care and support for him,” Tyler strongly stated in support of Tink. Everyone held their breath until Milton, Tink and Tyler’s father spoke.

“Landon was always an unusual child but truly loveable. He was extremely excitable as a child, very joyful and happy. He admired his older brother, only a year older than him, but he was the older brother. He was never quite the athletic jock his brother was, but he was still happy being in his brother’s shadow. It didn’t help that the boys branded him Tinker Bell, only I’m sure that didn’t make him gay. Being honest, his mother and I always kind of suspected he might be or could become gay, even though he’d never shown any outright signs of being that way. But still, as a parent, you know. We figured this day would come sometime, Landon, and I have to say, this doesn’t change the love we have for you one little bit. You’re our son and we love you no matter what. If Luke loves you and you love him, then we’ll have to love him also. I’m just so proud that you could stand up to us and the world and be proud of who you are and not have to fear those that might find out. You’ve been extremely honest with us all, and that is to be admired more than anything. Like I said, we’ll love you just the same. Seems as if Tyler supports who you are, as does Rod and Lonnie. They should all be proud of you for being honest and willing to stand up for what you believe. I know I’m proud of you, son,” Milton said, then got up from the table to go hug Tink. They gave each other a strong embrace, then Milton motioned for Luke to stand up so he could give him a hug also, telling him he was a nice-looking young man. He was even more delighted to hear he was Jake’s cousin of all things. “What do you have to say about all of this, Luke?” Milton asked. Luke smiled.

“Don’t know exactly what to say, other than Tink and I love one another and love spending time together, having fun and working all at the same time. There isn’t anyone else in my life, other than Jake and Josh, that I trust more than him. We just love one another so much and have such a great time together. I’m proud to be his boyfriend, and I’ll always be there for him,” Luke confessed, getting him another hug from Milton.

“I’m learned from experience that love is a very powerful and motivating force in one’s life. I’ve never felt so sure about anything as the love I have for Luke and my friends. I’m happy now. For the first time in my life, I actually feel confident as to who I am and what all I can do. I’m not lost anymore,” Tink told his Dad, as Milton continued to hug him.

“I’m proud of you, son. Very proud of you,” Milton told him. “Your mom might be a little disappointed you’re not going to give her grandchildren, but like I said, we always kind of suspected that might be the case.” Tink smiled, giving out a little chuckle. “The main thing is that you are happy in life and find it meaningful, however it is to be for you,” he added. Milton let Tink go, then Luke grabbed Tink and hugged him, saying how brave he was, and that he loved him.

“Well, this has been a very enlightening evening in more ways than one. Seems as if we’ve had some interesting revelations on both sides here. I hate to leave all of you, as I’m sure Milton and I could spend a week picking your brains and learning things, but as we negotiate more with Ty, we may be able to come back more often, at least one can hope,” Rod’s father Sterling mentioned. “For now, we have a crew waiting for us at the Uni airport, on our Gulfstream, and we’re way overdue for. We’ll try to get back again in the not too-distant future, and spend more time with this group in particular. I have to say, from what we’ve seen and learned tonight, you all make us proud of what the next generations can be like. We are both delighted that whatever influence you had on our boys, Josh and Jake, it has certainly pointed them in a successful direction, a direction we sometimes had doubts as to whether they could get there. We’ll be in touch about the line of credit and loan to the boys, and we’ll consider the pickup request you asked for also to help you with your building materials so you don’t have to bother Josh for everything,” Sterling added.

The meeting broke finally, with a lot of handshaking and hugs. Milton wanted my phone number in case he needed to discuss anything with me regarding Ty’s marketing program or the payoff of the construction line of credit we had for the boys. After that exchange, we followed the dads to the parking lot. The boys, girlfriends, boyfriend and Jake and I bid them a fond farewell, thanking them again for spending time with all of us. They said the pleasure was all theirs, and they looked forward to future visits.

We all waved to them in the parking lot as the big Cadillac Escalade took off for the airport. “I think we finally got some wheels, guys,” Lonnie said, all excited as Tyler went over and hugged Tink, telling him how brave he was and how much he admired him. Damn near gave me a little tear seeing them embrace the way they did, Tyler showing strong support for his brother, probably in a way he never had before, this important moment in Tink’s life bringing them closer together than ever. Mary Ann, Sue and Ginny also hugged Tink and Luke, showing their support.

“Well, did everything turn out okay?” I asked Rod. Rod raced to me, picked me up in a bear hug, telling me he loved me then kissed me quickly on the lips as he put me down.

“I love you, Josh. I might risk being gay, but I do love you, bro. You, Jake and the rest of the guys have changed our lives more than you can ever imagine, and our dads are proud of us for like the first time ever. They were blown away, let me tell you. They were sure they were going to find us just the way they left us when they dumped us off at the beginning of school, in that dump of a house we live in. Boy did we show them. Wow, this is the greatest day ever,” Rod practically screamed, with Tyler and Lonnie agreeing. Even the girls were relieved, finally seeing their guys relieved of stress and apprehension, able to relax finally.

“Beer, we need beer and lots of it,” Rod said, excited to finally have this visit over with. We headed back inside the CNB. Blake and Kyle were waiting for us to come back, after watching what they believed to be a fond farewell, with everyone’s body parts intact. That boys and the girls had plenty to tell them when we all sat down for a beer. Tink and Luke couldn’t be happier, snuggled up together, after declaring their love to the world.

“I think my heart stopped beating when you told the dads you were gay, Tink,” Rod commented. “But no one shouted or screamed. Everyone remained calm, and you handled it gracefully. We all loved you at that moment. Tyler, you came right in with your support, which only added credence to what Tink told them,” Rod added.

“I noticed you didn’t jump right in there to help out,” Tyler told Rod, who looked a little surprised, then a little guilty.

“Hell, you said it all for all of us. That point was made and made well,” Rod replied with a big grin. Tyler shook his head at Rod, as if he could have helped some. “I’d have just screwed it up, after your elaborate and heartfelt, sometimes gushing, explanation, Cuz,” Rod teased. Tyler threw a wadded-up napkin at him.

“Tyler did a great job supporting his brother,” Sue piped up, holding onto Tyler’s arm, showing her pride for her boyfriend. The two looked cute together, I had to think, but not without concern.

“I’m just glad it’s over and I can breathe again,” Tink replied. We all chuckled.

“So, Landon, shall we call you by your real name now, or do you prefer the name of Tink?” Lonnie chided. Tink rolled his eyes.

“Hell, I forgot my real name was Landon until my father called me by that name. I’ve been Tink for so long, I forgot about Landon a long time ago,” Tink chided. We all patted him on the back. “I wouldn’t remember to answer to Landon, which is a strange name anyway, so I might as well stay with Tink.” We all laughed, telling him that was a cute name anyway. It was classic. Luke said he was good with Tink also, as that’s who he fell in love with, hearing Tink’s real name of Landon for the first time tonight.

“I didn’t know who they were talking about when they brought up the name Landon tonight. Guess I know now,” Luke commented. Tink gave him a quick kiss.

“I guess there were a few things I forgot to tell you, but we’ll get go them in time,” Tink told him. “Besides, I still don’t know everything I need to know about you yet either,” Tink replied. Luke smiled.

“You know the important things, the things we like to do together,” Luke replied, in a sexy tone, getting Tink half-excited. The rest of us gave them the raspberries.

“Damn, Josh, I thought our dads were going to adopt you and Jake before the night was over. Talk about impressed, or maybe just relieved you rescued us and converted us into thinking like them. Who knows?” Rod teased. Jake and I smiled.

“So they were impressed with everything about Stoney Enterprises?” Blake asked.

“Seems as if they were, thankfully. Oh, and get this, Blake, they’re going to do some kind of grant to the Business School earmarked for Marketing for Ty to expand his program as they’re extremely impressed with what Ty is doing. They might even give out scholarships for future marketing execs to entice guys interested in the field to go to school here. That could be great,” I told Blake rather excitedly, excited for Ty myself.

“Damn, that could be great for all of us, Josh. See, I knew when you told me about the program, the night we met in Ft. Lauderdale, this program was going to be fantastic. I just knew it, and it is. I’m just amazed at how much my life has changed in just a semester. Gees, I switched schools, got into the best marketing curriculum in the country, joined a fantastic company with some wonderful new friends and allowed to play a great role in it, turned gay and found someone to really love and care about,” Blake said, looking at Kyle. “I couldn’t be happier with what all happened in a very short time.”

“I think we can all say our lives have changed for the better having met Josh and Jake and become involved in Stoney Enterprises overall,” Kyle noted. Rod, Lonnie, Tyler and Tink all said Amen to that.

“Gees, I wish I would have known you before you turned gay,” Mary Ann said to Blake. “I might have been able to salvage you. Once you’re under Josh’s spell, it’s almost hopeless. Us girls are lucky we only lost Tink in that battle. We could have lost all you guys,” Mary Ann teased.

“Not this kid. I like women way too much. I have to say, the guys know how to treat one another, from what I’ve been told from Tink’s experiences,” Lonnie remarked, “but there’s nothing like a woman’s touch and the warmth of her body up against you when you’re making love or sleeping together afterwards.” Rod and Tyler looked at Lonnie.

“That’s not what you said when you woke up beside me this morning,” Tyler chided, teasing Lonnie.

“In your dreams, mother fucker. That never happened and never will,” Lonnie said, not liking the teasing he got. Rod told him he had doubts about him every so often too. Lonnie told them both they were full of shit.

“Well, I’m just glad we saved three of them out of four, because there are three of us,” Em commented. The guys all looked at one another and smiled, as if they had a secret between them, they weren’t saying. The girls gave them a strange look.

“You know it’s a damn good thing our dads never asked us what we did working here at the bar. They knew that Tink helped serve, but they never asked what we did. I guess we’d have told them we helped with the entertainment,” Rod stated.

“Great, Rod, then they’d have asked what kind of entertainment we helped with. It would have been interesting to see how you explained that one,” Tyler commented. Rod rolled his eyes.

“Might have come up short on that answer. I guess we could have said we served also, as we do in a way. We serve our customers by entertaining them, both male and female,” Rod replied. I had to admit he was right about that.

“What happens if your fathers find out you’re wagging your willies in front of girls and boys?” Ginny asked, since neither Sue or Mary Ann did.

“Uh, we don’t want to go there. Somehow, I don’t think they’d see the humor in that at all. Let’s just say Tink coming out, with almost no consequences, would be accepted far better than the three of us straight guys doing what we’re doing,” Rod replied.

“Ain’t that for sure,” Lonnie added, shaking his head. You guys would just probably blame that on me as you hanging around the wrong crowd again.

“So, listening to your fathers talk about what they expected they might find, I want to know what you guys were like in high school. Sounds like you may have been womanizers, the love ‘em and leave ‘em type,” Mary Ann suggested.

“Oh, that was Tyler and Lonnie. I had a steady girlfriend until I got dumped for another guy. Pissed me off. But, she wasn’t going to come to Uni anyway, so we would have parted sooner or later, but it could have lasted a little longer,” Rod replied.

“Don’t blame that shit on us, Rod. You had your fair share before you settled down with the last one. You just couldn’t keep her happy, that’s all,” Lonnie chided. Rod shot him the finger.

“Just because I’m not hung like you doesn’t mean I can keep a girl happy, right Mary Ann?” Rod asked. Mary Ann chuckled, saying no comment. Rod got all upset. Mary Ann laughed.

“You’re fine, Rod. No complaints here,” Em added.

“I’m not looking or a ‘no complaints’ answer. I’m looking for, ‘WOW’ he’s the best!” Rod replied with great enthusiasm. Mary Ann laughed.

“I haven’t found that one yet. I’m still working on that,” Mary Ann replied, chuckling.

“Oh, spear through my heart. Your words just killed me, my love. What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Rod asked, as if he was emotionally hurt. Mary Ann just smiled.

“Nothing of importance, Rod. Don’t get so weirded out over what I said. All is fine. Just leave it at that,” Em replied, but not as convincing as Rod would have liked.

“What is it? Am I not passionate enough, not charming enough, not large enough, what? Do I not kiss you in the right places? Tell me, my love, and I’ll do whatever you want to make you feel excited and happy during our love making,” Rod pledged. Mary Ann shook her head at him, telling him she really didn’t mean what she said, and all was well so he should drop it. Rod looked concerned now. Mary Ann leaned over and gave him a kiss, telling him he was more than fine, and she was just dicking with him. Rod wasn’t so sure.

“Do you get this kind of shit, Josh? Your guys complain about the way you dick them?” Rod asked. I laughed.

“Are you kidding? We get so lost in the moment, sometimes we forget who we are until the ‘big O’ happens and then it takes a while to come back down to earth. No problems when we go at it,” I replied, with a big smile on my face. I think the girls all sighed, as if only that could happen to them. “Think about it. A guy knows what a guy likes, therefore who’s better to service a guy, than another guy? Huh?” I asked. You should have seen the look on their faces.

“Boy, that’s for sure,” Tyler said out loud, longingly, then caught himself. “I mean that’s true, that guys do know what guys like, of course, but then there’s nothing like the fairer sex to share it with and not another dude,” Tyler quickly interjected, Sue giving him a weird look. I thought Jake, Blake and Kyle were going to spit a gut.

“Is there something you want to share with us that you’re holding back?” Rod asked Tyler. Tyler looked guilty as hell. “Maybe you and your brother are more alike than we thought,” Rod added.

“Just trying to dick with you and Lonnie, Rod. Good grief, don’t take it so seriously. I have all I want right here,” Tyler replied, hugging Sue beside him and giving her a kiss.

“Speaking of which, if we leave now, we might have some time to make out with our sweet girls and maybe give them a treat for helping us out tonight,” Rod stated, as he looked longingly at Mary Ann. She smiled.

We adjourned our beer fest, and the guys started to leave with the girls. Mary Ann gave me a big hug, whispering in my ear, she dreamed of having me in bed, that’s what she was waiting for when she told Rod what she did. I chuckled, telling her that would never happen so to quit thinking about things like that. I told her she better not tell Rod anything like that. She just smiled. We got hugs from all of them, and bunches of thanks for helping them out with their parents before they took off. I told them we’d see them tomorrow night in their thongs. They told me never to tell their fathers what they did for money. I just laughed, jokingly asking them what it was worth to them. I got all kinds of threats for that statement.

Tink and Luke were still sitting at the table, when we sat back down. Trent brought us another round of beers. “Well, Tink, Landon, Lanny or Lan, how do you feel right about now?” I asked.

“Liberated,” he said proudly. “It’s like the weight of the world is finally off my shoulders. I always believed like you do, Josh, that honesty is the best policy. You sleep at nights as you say. Luke and I are going to sleep great tonight, but that’s after we have some hot celebratory sex for sure,” Tink replied.

“Hey, you were very brave to say what you did tonight, and you couldn’t have said it any better, Tink. You were honest as to who you are and proud of the fact you can say it, and not be afraid or ashamed to say it. Your father took it very well, I thought. I know that’s because he loves you with all his heart. You are his son, and nothing will ever change that. How do you think your mother will take it when she finds out?” I had to ask. Tink smiled.

“Mom? Oh she’ll be fine. Mom and I were always close, more so than Dad and I. She’ll ask me to help her pick out dresses now and want to share recipes, that kind of queer stuff, but I’m not into that stuff, so I’ll have to let her know nothing has changed, other than I sleep with boys, primarily one boy, but then Luke and I love all of you so we don’t mind sharing with this group only,” Tink replied, smiling. Tink’s phone rang a strange ringtone. “Speak of the devil, Mom is calling right now,” he told us, then answered his phone. “Hey, Mom, what’s up? Dad called from the plane and said I had something important to tell you? Uh, okay. It couldn’t wait until he got home? Good grief. So what important thing do I have to tell you? Brace yourself, Mom. Well at our meeting tonight with everyone, we were all talking about how wonderful our friendship was with Josh and Jake’s team and how we loved working for them and all. We each talked about the attributes of the friendship we had together and how meaningful the relationship was and what all we learned from each other as we worked together. I was the last one to speak and Dad asked me what I thought about the friendship we had here. I told Dad and Uncle Sterling that I loved them all, and that I was gay. Mom, you still there? Say something, please. What do you mean, did I finally figure it out? You knew it all along? What took me so long? Seriously, you knew I was gay? Well, why the hell didn’t you tell me? I mean it might have been nice to know,” Tink said, somewhat confused as to his mother’s questioning. “Oh, that’s for you to know and me to figure out? Gees, I wish I’d have known that. It might have been nice to know. Yes, I have a boyfriend. His name is Luke. Yes, he’s cute as hell, Mom. I love him so much. We’re good for each other. He’s actually Jake’s cousin. Jake is our COO and the boyfriend of Josh’s who I’ve told you about before that’s really helped me in so many ways. Yes, Luke is a great guy. I’m not telling you how well he’s hung. But, he is nicely hung, if you really want to know. Should you be asking me these things as my mother? I guess we do tell each other everything, now that I think about it. Okay, okay, so I didn’t call you right away when I figured it out, but we’re talking now, so you know everything I know at the moment. Dad was okay with it. He told me he would always love me no matter what. Tyler has known for some time now and is very supportive. Yes, Rod and Lonnie are too. They tease me but no more than they always have so what’s the difference. If they didn’t tease me, I wouldn’t think they liked me. You know how it goes. Yes, Luke and I sleep together every night. We’re staying at the house that Stoney Enterprises has for all their shareholders, and life is great there. We have our own bedroom and everything. The guys are all great, Mom. We all support one another. I’m becoming a shareholder at their next initiation so I’ll be official then. They’ve already started putting aside so much out of my earnings to buy my stock and it’s appreciating already. Can’t wait to become official though. Soon, the initiation is soon. I don’t know what’s all involved, but the guys all tell me it’s very meaningful, something to remember for your entire life. I’ll see, Mom. Not sure it’s public information, but I’ll check. No, it’s not like graduation. You and Dad can’t come to the initiation. It’s a secret initiation between the current members and the new ones being accepted into the organization, a sharing of great magnitude. Everyone has told me it’s very meaningful and fulfilling. I’m really looking forward to it. I trust all my friends and know it will be very inspirational to say the least. Okay, Dad should be home soon, so you can tell him you’ve got the skinny on me now. I’m sure he’ll be pleased he didn’t have to explain it to you. Yes, you can call me anytime. I love you too, Mom. Things won’t change between us at all, except you’ll have another son to care about named Luke. Okay? No, you don’t have to go tell everyone you have a gay son. I’m sure they’ll find out soon enough. That’s my business, and no one else’s, not that I’m hiding anything because I’m not. It’s just not something you brag about, but I hope you’ll defend the fact that I am and you love me all the same. Good, we’re on the same page. Love you too. Goodnight, Mom,” Tink said, then ended the call.

“I’m sure you all got the jest of that conversation. Sorry you had to endure that call. That’s the all-knowing, all-seeing Mom of moms. I think she was rather excited about me being gay, asking me if she can now proudly say she has a gay son. I’m sure they’ll all think it’s Tyler, so I don’t care what she says,” he joked, then laughed. We laughed with him. “She seems happy about it and happy I’m happy. Everybody is fucking happy. What do you know?” Tink chided. Luke hugged him.

“One of these days, I need to drag your ass home with me to meet my parents and tell them our good news,” Luke told Tink.

“Oh shit. I may have to go with you for that,” Jake commented. “You know my parents weren’t that excited about me being gay. In fact, I’m not sure they still don’t believe I’m kidding or kidding myself. Josh and I even bought them a trip to Hawaii to help ease the pain, but I still don’t think they’ve told anyone. I know my sister has, but not sure they have. Your parents are like mine, Luke. That news may not go over as good as Tink’s did. I wouldn’t mind meeting your mother sometime, Tink. She seems like she’d be fun,” Jake commented.

“She’s quite the mother, let me tell you. I’m fortunate to have a mother like that. Like I said, we’ve always been close. I can’t believe she thought I was gay all this time and never mentioned it to me. Damn, was I acting like I was gay before?” Tink asked. We laughed, telling him no more than any of the rest of us.

“Mother’s intuition,” I told Tink. “My parents knew all along also. They just know. They weren’t surprised at all when Zach, Jake and I told them when we were home for my grandfather’s funeral. If the truth were known, I think there was a little of that going around with my dad and my grandfather also. They loved their friends and had exclusive poker nights with their farming buddies, the fathers of the guys I loved and messed around with. We could be looking at third generation gayness here in my neck of the woods,” I confessed, stunning Tink, Kyle and Blake. “Hey, I’m not ashamed I loved my friends like I did and still do. We’ll always be there for each other all the way through life. Girlfriends come and go for straight guys, but gay friendships built on trust and support, I think, more or less, last forever.” Tink said he could definitely see that happening.

Dale and Cam came walking in and joined us at our table, giving all of us a hug. Trent brought them over some beer. I thanked him for that, asking him how Cody was these days.

“Cody is fine. I’d love to see him leave security at the hospital, as you know what kind of kooks he has to work with up there,” Trent told me.

“He hasn’t had any more problems with Jerome, has he?” I had to ask.

“No, Jerome is keeping a low profile these days. I guess he realized how deep in trouble he was from before and decided to behave himself for once. It’s just not a great environment there, as you very well know when you had to visit your friend Dawson when he was in the nut ward. Still, you know him, he’s very loyal and he’ll do whatever he can to help,” Trent told us.

“Hey, we’re going to need someone to head up security at the new office building. You might want to mention that to him and see if he might be interested in that position. I’m sure we can do better than what he makes at the hospital,” I suggested. Trent grabbed me and hugged me.

“Josh, that would be wonderful if he could work with professional people and not have to work in the crazy environment he’s in now. I know he’d be much happier,” Trent said, excitedly. I told Trent to run it by Cody, and if he was interested, then we’d talk. Trent was all excited. Off he went to call Cody, presumably.

“I told Jordan the other day, we needed to get that position filled before something happened. You just never know these days. We have a security office off the lobby and a security desk there for day and night guards. We need to fill those spots. Jordan thinks with all this new technology with our phones, no one can get where they’re not supposed to be. You don’t know though. I’d rather having someone watching cameras to make sure no one gets to where they’re not supposed to be,” I commented.

“You’re right, Josh. We have all kinds of expensive computer equipment on the 7th floor and who knows what our tenants have. We don’t need someone sneaking in and planting bugs in our equipment to find out what we’re up to,” Blake replied. I agreed.

“I doubt that they could get away with that with what all Garth has developed, but you never know. And then who’s to say that something might happen to one of our other tenants’ IT department, that doesn’t have a Garth to write code to protect everything. I know we have public WiFi set up for guests to use, but that limits places where you can go. Garth says he has a strangle hold on that, and he can tell what site every user’s on that WiFi looks at. That might be good to know sometime, although I told him it seemed like it was some kind of invasion of privacy. Garth told me we needed to know who was friends and who was foe. I had to laugh, guys, but he might have a point. Still, I think he’s nosey after what all he’s dug up on some suspicious characters for the AG’s office,” I told them.

“Cam, how’s your mother and aunt doing?” I had to ask, thinking we’d all but ignored him and Dale since they got here.

“Getting drunk, I suspect,” Cam replied, making us chuckle. “I know, I shouldn’t say it that way, but it seemed to help them some, so who cares. They’re at home, so no one on the streets are going to get hurt, which is a good thing. They were kind of giggly when we left. That’s the best I’ve seen Mom in months so I’m glad the two are having a good time,” Cam said.

“How about you, today? Are you okay?” I asked him. He smiled.

“One day at a time, but the worst is over, Josh. Kyle and I am not going to forget that man too easily, but we have his great memory to remind us what a great guy he was, and that he expects that out of us also. We have a lot to live up to, but we can do it,” Cam replied.

“You already have in so many ways, Cam. You and Kyle both are a testament to Hal’s memory. If you love him, you have to love the two of you also. No way around it,” I told them. They gave me a heartfelt smile.

“Hey, you guys should congratulate Tink tonight who just came out to his father and mother as being gay,” I told Dale and Cam. A big smile came across their faces. They both got up and hugged Tink, then Luke.

“Congratulations, Tink. Way to go, buddy. Wow, how’d that go over?” Dale asked, rather excited.

“Great. No problems at all. Seems as if they knew it before I did, from what they’ve told me. My mother even said it was about time I figured it out, then she wanted to know if I had a boyfriend and if he was cute. I mean, really? Anyway, I’m glad that’s all over with and out of the way,” Tink replied. Dale and Cam both said how happy they were for him.

And if it wasn’t enough for us to be sitting there and just enjoying ourselves, basking in the fact that Tink was liberated and happy, in came Conner and Neal in street clothes, only they didn’t have happy faces. “Hey guys, you slumming tonight and decided to visit us?” I asked. Conner and Neal slid up a couple of stools and joined us. “Don’t you two look kind of hot in your street clothes. Love the bulge in your pants there, Conner,” I chided.

“Josh, it’s not a good night,” he said, obviously concerned about something. We were all ears.

“Do tell. What’s going on?” I asked, as I motioned for Trent to bring us more beers for our two law enforcement friends. Conner pulled out a picture.

“You ever see this guy in here before?” Conner asked, as he passed the picture around. The face on the picture looked vaguely familiar. Jake thought so also, as did Blake.

“Should we know him from somewhere?” I asked.

“Well, he is gay, so I’m not sure if you’ve seen him on Saturday nights or not,” Conner mentioned.

“Hey, there are a lot of gay guys here on Saturday nights, if you recall since you and Neal are here also. What’s the deal with him and how do you know he’s gay?” I asked.

“He and I went to school together, and let’s just say, I know he’s gay,” Conner added. I rolled my eyes as if a light just went off in my brain.

“So, maybe there’s some history between the two of you? I mean, he’s a hot looking guy, but then so are you,” I replied, smiling.

“Was a hot looking guy. He was found murdered earlier this evening in his apartment. It’s a homicide investigation at this point,” Conner said, half shaken up.

“Wait, you can’t be serious. This guy, murdered? We don’t have homicides in this town, do we?” I asked. Conner looked at me as if I wasn’t being serious enough.

“Hell yes we do. You get guys like Spence and Simon floating around and if they don’t like you, or you owe them money, you’re liable to end up dead. That’s why I was so worried about Kyle staying at his apartment when all that crap was going on. Hell, it damn near got Lucky killed trying to run after that one guy that night in the rain storm, when you supposedly saved him,” Conner replied.

“Yes, my lucky night with Lucky. How could I ever forget that night?” I said, with a slight smile.

“Oh, had that been me, Josh, I’m telling you, Conner and I might be separated today,” Neal chimed in, getting a look from Conner, which made me crack a smile. “That boy just really gets my juices flowing. I think he knows that also, as it just seems like he’s teasing me these days. That boy has no business being straight as hot as he is. Damn, what guy couldn’t have fun sleeping with that,” Neal said, somewhat excited. Conner told him to can it, there were more important things to discuss and to keep his cock in check. That made us chuckle, but Conner was dead serious.

“Okay, so what’s up with a homicide with this guy and how can we help?” I asked.

“I’ve lost touch with him over the years since school was out and I’m not really dating these days, since Neal and I kind of got together,” Conner started to say.

“Kind of got together? What’s that supposed to mean?” Neal asked, somewhat miffed. Conner gave him the look again.

“Became a steady couple. Alright?” Conner asked. “Neal, sometimes you take everything too literally. You know I love you, so there. I said it in front of all these guys as my witnesses. We’re a couple unless you continue to lust after Lucky, and then maybe we need to talk,” Conner replied. “Besides, he’s probably in love with Josh now that the two danced naked dick to dick in Kyle’s bathtub with Kyle and Blake there as witnesses,” Conner rattled off.

“I think both of them got just a little bit aroused before it was all over, but I’m sure it was just the shock of what was happening,” Kyle chided. Neal almost lost it.

“I knew it. I knew something happened to Lucky that night that changed him. He never looked at a guy before. Never. Now he wiggles his ass in front of me and even dropped his briefs to scratch his bare ass in front of me yesterday in the locker room. Damn, that was one hot ass,” Neal commented. Conner was shaking and scratching his head.

“And what did you do, Neal?” I had to ask.

“Well, I popped a boner, what else is a girl supposed to do when a hot guy drops his briefs and scratches one beautiful nicely sculped naked ass? Honey, I’m not shitting you, that was awesome,” Neal said, fanning himself as if he was in heat.

“Neal, sometimes you can be so gay, it’s crazy,” Conner stated. “Now will you just shut up and get your mind off Lucky’s sculped ass so I can talk to these guys about what happened here?” Conner asked Neal. Neal took his fingers and ran them across his lips as if to say he just zipped them. Conner shook his head.

“Now, as I was saying before my partner went into heat over Lucky, this guy I showed you a picture of was murdered last night sometime from what the coroner said. His name was Harold. Harold hung out with some of the wrong crowd from time to time. He’d been picked up a couple of times for possession. He’s a known acquaintance of Spence and Simon so that tells you something. He wasn’t a bad guy, but lacked some good sense at times. I’ll tell you someone that might know him better and that’s Duncan, your old Real Estate professor. I’m sure he was at some of the same parties that Duncan was. Ole Spence and Simon did a number on Duncan and it took him some time to get his act together and get clear of all that mess. Harold seemed to be doing okay from what I knew of him. He worked for Weinstein and Seward Construction as just a regular construction guy. He was pretty built. Nothing wrong with his looks,” Conner said, as he looked over the picture again, somewhat fondly, as if he did have some good memories of the guy.

“Was he good in the sack?” Neal asked. Conner glared at him.

“Neal, that’s not a question you want to ask me right now or one I want to give you an answer to. The guy is dead. He was murdered. A gay guy was murdered. I think we should be pretty pissed off about that right now, if you ask me,” Conner replied. Neal zipped his mouth shut again.

“So why are you telling us this or how can we help? I asked.

“Not sure, but I felt compelled to tell you about this, as I highly suspect it has something to do with Spence and Simon’s drug operation, maybe even something to do with this Kenny guy that Kyle got messed up with that caused him all the pain,” Conner said, looking towards Kyle. Kyle looked surprised.

“Don’t recall ever seeing this guy, Conner. Although Kenny seemed to know a lot of guys and we had several around from time to time doing different jobs of fixing things for us. He might have been there, but I don’t remember him. How long did he work for W&S Construction?” Kyle asked.

“According to Homicide, he was an employee there for the several years. Seems like he went to work for them right out of high school. I kind of lost track of him when I went to college. Spence and Simon were just a year or so younger than me so we were all kind of the same age, when I think about it. Some of the guys that knew him said he used to party pretty hard with Spence and Simon, so we know what that means. The dude was built and strong, so he might have even been doing some of their strong man work also. Who knows? It’s a shame, because he was a decent guy in high school. Must have gotten mixed up with Simon and Spence when he went to work for their old man’s construction company. Gees, if we could just nail those guys and get them the hell out of our society, clean the rats out of our world,” Conner said, obviously this homicide having an effect on him, him being somewhat close at one time with the victim. I patted him on his back.

“We’ll help any way we can, Conner. Just tell us what you need and if we can help you with it, you know we will. You have our undying support,” I told him. He seemed to appreciate that.

“Any closer to getting anything out of this Shelley girl, that your friend Clay is working on?” Conner asked.

“Not yet, but he’s supposed to have a few more sessions with the girl so maybe there might be some pillow talk that might yield something,” I replied.

“I don’t know what DEA is doing with monitoring what’s going on with Dickerson and Hastings and that Kenny guy. We need to nail his ass to the wall,” Conner told us, indicating to me, this was getting a little personal now. “Kyle, to your knowledge did this Kenny guy prone to any violence?” Conner asked him. Kyle had to think for a moment.

“He was kind and gentle around me for the time I knew him. I heard him argue with his girlfriend a few times. Actually, I was hoping they’d break up and he’d see the light and leave her for good for me. Glad that didn’t happen, as who knows what shape I’d be in today. I did hear him threaten a guy one day, and he was pretty pissed, telling him to get his ass off the property and he never wanted to see him again if the guy knew what was good for him. I heard the guy ask him what he was going to do about it. Fucking Kenny told him he knew what he was capable of. He said, if he didn’t want that to happen to him, he’d better get the fuck out of there and never let him see his ass again. I never saw that guy again after that. I asked Kenny what that was all about. He told me not to worry about anything as he was protecting our business and me, and wouldn’t let anything happen to either the business or me. I asked him if I should be concerned. He told me, not as long as he was around to take care of me. Not sure what that had to do with anything, but I assumed it was him telling me something I may not know was coming, like the bank was going to take my property after he left and wasn’t there to protect it. That was a bunch of shit, because he caused all that at the request of Weinstein and Seward. I could just strangle him myself,” Kyle told us all.

“How was he murdered?” I had to ask. Conner put his head down in his hands. I could tell this was really getting to him. I motioned for Trent to bring us more beer.

“Not really supposed to say, as it’s an ongoing investigation and we don’t usually give the details of an ongoing homicide investigation. I’ll tell you guys, but don’t tell anyone else. The guy had his throat slashed and was stabbed several times. It had to be personal or someone was sending a message. He was naked and there was blood everywhere from all the stab wounds. That tells me it was very personal,” Conner said, getting a little shook up. We all gulped at that thought.

“Was he tortured, or did death happen immediately?” I asked, cringing at the thought. Conner shrugged his shoulders.

“We don’t know for sure. Hopefully the coroner will tell us he died a quick death. There was quite a lot of blood at the scene, so we’re not sure if he was killed with a knife wound to the heart or his jugular severed when his throat was slit or if he was, well you know what I’m about to say,” Conner said, obviously moved by what he just told us. I put my arm around his shoulder.

“If there is anything we can do to help you with this, you have our total support. Is this a crime of passion or have something to do with Spence and Simon trying to rally the troops from a possible mutiny and them joining up with someone else since those two are in jail?” I asked. Conner shook his head.

“Don’t know. That’s what’s puzzling us. We’ve had homicides before in this town where wives shoot their husbands, and vice versa, but never one that’s as brutal and bloody as this one. This just stinks. Who knows, maybe he had it coming to him for some crazy fucked up reason, but no one deserves to die like that. No one does,” Conner said, still somewhat beside himself. I had never seen Conner this troubled over something before. He was always the strong guy, the guy with the answers, the warnings, always defending us every way he could. Now, he seemed so helpless and forlorn tonight. My heart ached for him. “Gotta take a piss. I’ll be back,” Conner said, getting up to head for the men’s room.

“Neal, he seems to be taking this very personally. Do you know why?” I asked. Neal shook his head.

“I don’t know. He won’t say. If I was to guess, I’d say there was something between them in high school. He doesn’t talk much about those days at all. Today after he recognized the guy as the victim of a homicide, it really got to him and that is the first I ever heard his name mentioned or that Conner even knew the guy. I’ll almost bet you they had sex together back in the day. There was something between them that made this so personal for him. Getting him to talk about it is another story. You know how he is. Me, I can just jabber away and tell you everything, even that I get a boner too often these days just marveling at Lucky. Crazy fool, getting me all excited like he does. I just know he knows he’s turning me on,” Neal went on.

“Hold that thought, I think I need to pee also,” I said, then got up and headed for the men’s room. I wanted to catch Conner for a one on one, knowing he was hurting, and I wanted to help him anyway I could right now.

Conner came out of the men’s room and I grabbed him, pulling him to the dressing room where we entered and shut the door. “This case has you rattled, Conner. I know you well enough you don’t get rattled. It’s personal, isn’t it? Tell me, as you need to talk to someone about this as it really has you down. You’re never that way,” I told him. Conner grabbed me and hugged me. I think he had tears in his eyes, but he’d never let me see anything like that with him. His head was up against mine in an embrace. “Talk to me, Conner. You need to talk and get this out,” I urged.

“Josh, it was so horrible. I saw the body, being one of the first to show up when a person called in to say Harold was missing. I was in the area and a sergeant and I were the first there. It was so horrible, Josh, just horrible. I swear the sergeant threw up, it was so bad. I didn’t tell you this with the other guys there, but Harold’s penis and balls were missing, cut from the body and removed from the scene. It was just terrible, I’m telling you,” he said, hugging me tightly, me cringing at the thought of what he witnessed.

“Tell, me was he dead when his genitals were removed?” I cautiously asked. I actually thought I heard him whimper, his arms around me tightly.

“We don’t know yet. I’m sure the coroner will tell us when he finishes his report. We should have that sometime tomorrow. Don’t tell anyone, please. Please don’t tell anyone that I told you this. I have no right to disclose that information, but it just killed me to see what I saw,” Conner said, but struggled to say it, obviously very emotional right now.

“Okay, this is obviously personal to you. Tell me why, Conner. You can tell me, as it will help you to get it out. I sense you don’t feel comfortable telling Neal for some reason, and I can understand that, I think. But, you can tell me and I’ll understand,” I urged him.

“Josh, Harold was my first,” he said, then he did break down. I hung onto him. I had never seen Conner in this shape before or ever believed it could happen to him. He was a rock if there ever was one.

“Oh, Conner, I’m so sorry. So sorry. How horrible a thing to have to see when it was someone that meant so much to you in an earlier time. I know you said you’d lost track of him and he hung out with some unsavory guys in later years, but no one forgets their first,” I said sympathetically.

“For some reason, I guess we were just stupid kids at the time, but we thought we loved one another and we sure as hell tried to prove it back then in so many ways. I mean we couldn’t keep our hands of one another or our dicks out of one another, Josh. It was bad and it hurt like hell when we finally broke up and went our separate ways. He got into drugs and I couldn’t talk sense into him anymore. I couldn’t take his drug usage and abuse, and told him it was either me or the drugs, but he couldn’t have both. He chose drugs over me, so I guess he made his choice. I sure as hell wasn’t going to put up with that shit especially when I loved him so much. I would have just watched him end up like he was today. Still, I loved him at one time, a long time ago, but I did love him. To see him like this today, just ripped me apart,” Conner told me as he continued to hug me. “Oh, Josh, this is a terrible day. Just a terrible day.”

I really like how you wrote Tink's coming out, FT. His little speech was considered, heartfelt and mature. I found it quite moving, actually. Completely different from his brash announcement at the Pink Flamingo! And as we expected, Milton and Sterling were completely accepting. In fact Milton and Tink's mom had suspected he was gay all along. Parents know these things about their children, it seems.

So now I'm wondering how Tyler is feeling about his decision to live a straight life and deny he craves boy sex, specifically to spare his parents from being devastated. But hey, now they've accepted Tink's being gay, without question. Not a hint of devastation. And if parents know these things, could they already suspect that Tyler is gay too? Surely Tyler must feel really conflicted now about his decision. He'll see Tink happily living his openly gay life, with their parents' blessing, while he needlessly denies his true orientation. I'm really interested in where you might take Tyler's journey, FT.

And Rod. He was so wound up about the visit, and now obviously he's tremendously relieved that his father approves of what he's doing. Seems Rod is a bit low in self-esteem, but maybe that's a result of being the son of a high achiever who didn't spend very much time with him growing up, not being there to encourage and shape him. Sterling's new approval will help, but Rod still seems to be lacking confidence, as we see in his reaction to some of Em's remarks. Rod is very likeable, but I'm not sure that he and Em are a perfect match. She seems more assertive and ambitious than nurturing. We'll just have to see…

Then a change of mood, with the murder of a guy who was Conner's first love. And a violent and brutal murder, at that. Poor Conner. Keen to see where this storyline goes too.

I think I've said enough. As always, thank you so much for continuing to provide us with such thought-provoking entertainment, FT.

Cheers, HF

Couldn't have said it better, HF :=D:

Tink's coming out was mature and heartfelt indeed.

And the positive note of Rod's family's visit get darkened by the murder of Conner's first love. That was unexpected, but as heartfelt as the rest of this chapter.

Can't wait for the next chapter :corn:

And as always, great work ..| so keep it coming FT, keep it cumming ..|

I whole heartly agree with HF's comments.

Harolds' death hit too close to home for Conner even though he has Neal in his life now it still hit very close to his heart because of Josh in a way I believe.

Tinks coming out couldn't have gone better but he was the one who was surprised when both his Mom and Dad told him they thought he was gay already and asked what took him so long to figure that out!! Tinks father seems to like Luke as a future Son-in-law.

I'm excited for the next installment.

Wild and crazy chapter, FT. We were all genned up for Tink's coming out. We were hoping it would all go well and it went great. His mom really surprised us with the phone call. Wasn't expecting that and her conversation. It was nice that all the girls and guys could relax together after the fathers left, reviewing the evening with the dads and glad it was over. I felt a sense of relief myself reading that. Then after the girls and guys leave, BAM, we go into the very dark place. It was bad enough Conner telling the main group what happened, then in his private conversation with Josh, tells him what really happened and about his history with Harold. I felt a tremendous devastation for Conner, having to witness what he witnessed having loved that person so much a few years ago. That had to hurt like hell. I can't imagine what pain Conner felt in his heart and mind. Only Josh knows the real truth. Here we were relaxing with the group and glad the meeting was over, happy that everything turned out right, then you take us to a deep dark horrible place. Talk about a roller coaster of emotions in this one chapter. WOW! Please, we need to catch this bastard and get justice for Conner if nothing else. I just hope Conner doesn't go crazy and do something crazy to avenge his long lost friend. If that didn't make him so angry, I don't know what would. The bad thing about all of what happened is Conner couldn't share that with anyone else by Josh, not even Neal, his partner. Sounds like Josh needs to take him to see Dr. Wayne to get the anger out so he can deal with it. Makes one wonder about Clay and his undercover work if this Harold was connected to Kenny in any way. Gees, talk about heavy. This really got heavy after a lighthearted start. Excellent chapter by all means. More intrigue than ever it seems. Now you have to keep writing as we need some closure. BC

Yep! Like my Bent Buds have generally said, you can't possibly stop writing now!

Harold's mutilation must be a message to someone. The question is to who. And, the answer to that can portend so many different angles, and dangers.

Geeze! What next? Do we really want to know? You bet we do! That's one heck of a cliffhanger!

MORE Please!! :gogirl: (*8*)
Chaz :luv:

Evening, gents. Just finished the last chapter for tonight. I think we see Conner in a new light, that he can be emotional and is very human. Neal is not as deep as Conner, obviously which is why Conner confides in Josh, needing a friend's shoulder to cry on to help ease the grief he feels. He's unable to share that with Neal, but is very comfortable sharing his grief with Josh. But, aren't we all comfortable sharing anything with Josh.

Anyway, thanks for all the comments. Your comments actually do help shape this story as you all have given me different angles to consider. That helps and I appreciate that greatly. Have a great rest of the week and I'll try to be back to you on Saturday night. Please stay Healthy, Safe and Happy. Huggs, FT

Chapter 635 – Conner Confides in Josh

It just killed me to see Conner like he was. He was always the strong one, the one we trusted the most and knew had our back, looked out for us and supported us, even when we drove him half-crazy, asking him to save Trent for us when he thought that was a lost cause. Now he was the one suffering at no fault of his except for loving someone that let him down a long time ago. My heart went out to him. I couldn’t hug him enough right now, fearing if I let him go, he’d fall apart on me.

“Conner, there is no shame in having loved someone when they loved you back. You didn’t make the decisions he did. You chose the high road and he chose the road to nowhere except where he ended up. You’ve got to let this go,” I told him, as I continued to hug him.

“I know, Josh. I see horrible things all the time in my line of work, but I’ve never had something so horrible hit so close to home. Harold and I went different ways. I knew eventually his type of life would catch up to him and it did, no doubt about it. It’s just that no one, no matter how horrible they were, and Harold wasn’t a horrible person by any means, didn’t deserve to die like this. Fuck, Josh, he’s only 27, my age for shits sake. That’s a short life if there ever was one. It would be bad enough to have lost a previous friend in a car wreck or accident of some sort, but to be slaughtered like a pig and have your genitals cut off, no man deserves to be brutally murdered like that. I just want to find the bastard and gut him myself,” Conner replied, now getting mad.

“You’re not going to gut anyone. You’re not that kind of person. Seek and get justice, yes, but not gut someone,” I replied. Conner surprisingly let me go and looked me in the eyes.

“I shouldn’t have told you all of this, Josh. I don’t know why I did. I haven’t even told Neal about any of this, other than we were friends in high school. He doesn’t know about the missing genitals thing and that will not be released to anyone, so please don’t say anything to anyone about that, especially not Neal as he’d go apeshit. Neal has a weak stomach for some of our police work. He does pretty good, but knowing the facts of this case could give him a nervous breakdown, and make him quit the force even. He's more into burglaries and traffic tickets, if you know what I mean. He hates violence. There are things I just don’t discuss with him, and this would be at the top of that list,” Conner told me.

“Hey, I’m glad you shared this with me. Conner, as you needed to get it off your chest and talk to someone about it. You can’t hold stuff this horrible in without talking to someone about it and getting it out. Thank you for sharing. That makes me feel even more like a special friend to you,” I told him, then gave him another quick hug.

“You are a special friend to me, Josh. I’m one of your biggest fans. You’re like a little brother to me, even though you’re one to Tuck too, but I lay claim to you also. Thank you for listening to me. I just had to tell someone, and you I trust more than anyone. Thank you for grabbing me and making me talk. I feel better now, although I’m still pissed off and angry as hell at whoever could do something like this. It has to be the work of the drug guys. I don’t know what Harold did to piss them off, as he was pretty passive when we were friends and fooling around. Still, drugs will make a man do almost anything if they can’t control themselves and need it that bad,” Conner told me. I knew he was right.

“You need another beer?” I asked him, since he more or less had his emotions back under control again. He smiled for the first time tonight.

“I do love you, you know? I can’t think of anyone in my life, I admire more than you. You’re a genuine person through and through, and you care about people more than anyone I’ve ever known in my life. I knew when I brought Dylan to you, that you were the right guy to turn him into a great guy and show him a map to a great life. Gees, you blew me away with him. He’s fantastic now, even though I think he’s still somewhat scared of me. Eventually, he’ll get over it,” Conner told me.

“Fuck that, Conner. Dylan adores you. He realizes if it hadn’t been for you insisting on him living with me, he’d be in jail probably until he was middle aged. Now he has a great job, a great family with us and a great boyfriend. He’s a real character, and we all just love him to death. He loves you, just in case you haven’t felt it,” I assured him. Conner gave me a little grin.

We made our way back to the table with the rest of the guys, grabbing a beer at the bar on our way. “Gees, we thought you guys had fun in the restroom, impaling yourselves on the penis soap pumps in there,” Neal chided.

“No, Josh gave me one to take home for you to use, Neal. Got to admit, it’ll keep your ass nice and clean,” Conner joked. I was so relieved to see he’d finally moved on from the horrible news he shared with me.

“So any idea who killed this Harold guy? Any leads?” Jake asked.

“You can bet it had something to do with the drug trade going on here. We’ve discussed it down at the station, and we kind of think there was some growing concern about who was running the show, and someone sent a message that they better buck up and behave or something terrible could happen to them. At least it’s a theory. Then again it could have been a jealous boyfriend wanting to get even, which I doubt, as Harold was kind of a loner from what we’ve heard. He wasn’t that forward a guy, at least when I knew him,” Conner stated.

“And just how well did you know him?” Neal asked, somewhat concerned.

“Well enough, Neal, and we’ll leave it at that. We haven’t spoken in years so I have no idea what kind of crowd, if any, he hung around with in the last few years,” Conner replied.

“Humm, it’s interesting you never mentioned him before. But then I guess maybe you buried that part of your life before you met me,” Neal replied. Conner gave him a smirk.

“How did you guys meet, by the way, Neal?” I asked, with a grin. Conner rolled his eyes.

“Oh my, it was like a fairy tale, almost,” Neal started to say.

“It was a fairy tale alright, and I met the fairy head on,” Conner chided, then took another deep swig of beer, hoping he wouldn’t be too embarrassed by Neal’s story.

“Stop that now, Conner. Let me tell the story,” Neal insisted. Conner shook his head smiling, letting Neal have his way. “I was a rookie cop, just out of the academy and I was having all kinds of problems, including some problems with the other members of our squad. I kept getting paperwork wrong, and I’d say the wrong things at times. No one really wanted to work with me. Conner felt kind of bad for me, so he grabbed me one day and said, he’d let me work with him and he’d train me if I’d keep my mouth shut and do what he told me to do. ‘Observe, listen and learn’, he told me. Eventually, after making a fool of myself in many ways and him rescuing me with the most patience of anyone I’ve ever known in this life, I finally became a decent cop. The rest of the guys said Conner was a saint for taking me on. One day I really fucked up, and he helped me out again, and forgave me. I was so excited that I just kissed him. Needless to say, he was shocked and about fell over, then he surprisingly kissed me back. I’d wanted to kiss him from the first day I worked with him. He was half the reason I fucked up a lot, because he had me tied up in knots just talking to him. I was in awe of him since the day I met him. The rest of the squad really admired him and looked up to him also. I started being respected when Conner took me under his wing and agreed to train me, sparing the rest of the guys from having to. They thought he was a saint for volunteering,” Neal said, kind of giddy, making us chuckle.

“I was just trying to avert a train wreck, Neal. You were headed off a cliff, and I decided I needed to do something before that happened,” Conner chimed in.

“That’s not what you told me, Conner. You told me no one as cute as I was should flunk out of being a cop. You said you decided I needed to be saved. Oh, it was so romantic, I nearly lost a load in my uniform. Good Lord, that wouldn’t have been a good thing. But, after he kissed me back at the end of our shift that day, we went to his place and fucked all night long. Let me tell you, I was hooked from then on. This boy has some moves that will drive you crazy,” Neal bragged. Conner looked embarrassed.

“You need to tell us about these moves you have some time, Conner,” I teased. He just smiled.

“Well, that was about four years ago, and here we are, still together and still in love, even though he hasn’t told me everything about his past, it seems,” Neal replied. Conner just shook his head.

“There are just some things that aren’t worth knowing, Neal,” Conner replied.

“I’ve told you things about my past, my first time, even named names,” Neal replied.

“Like I said, there are just some things that just aren’t worth knowing, just like the things you told me,” Conner commented. Neal shook his head.

“Well, I thought we were sharing that night, so I told you. Anyway, that’s water under the bridge. Conner’s my man through and through,” Neal said, excitedly.

“Feeling better now, Conner?” I asked. He shook his head.

“Not great, but better. I’ll be happy when we catch this son-of-a-bitch, put him behind bars and prosecute the hell out of him. I just hope I’m there when we nab him or them. Don’t know if there was more than one guy that did this. I guess we’ll just have to find out. DEA has some confidential informants we hope have their ear to the ground to see if we can find out those that are responsible.

“I think we all might sleep a little better knowing that someone, or someones, that cruel end up behind bars and the rest of us are safer because of it,” I replied, with an amen from the rest of the guys.

Will and Logan walked in, having burned some late-night oil. “Good, you guys are still kicking and down here tonight so we don’t have to go upstairs,” Will said, as looked to borrow a couple more stools to join our group. Tink and Luke said they best be getting back to the house so Will and Logan could have their seats. The bar had pretty much thinned out at this time anyway. I introduced Logan to Conner and Neal. Logan said he remembered them from Saturday night, only they were in uniform then.

“Gees, we don’t have to strip to get a beer tonight. Kind of nice,” Logan chided, making Jake and me laugh.

“Why would you have to strip to drink beer?” Conner asked, somewhat confused. I’m sure he was wondering if I was playing tricks on our newbie.

“We have to strip to our underwear up in their apartment, which is where we’ve been drinking some beer,” Logan explained. Conner looked at me as if to wonder what I had done to this poor guy.

“We chill in our briefs in the evening when we’re in the apartment, Conner. You and Neal are welcome to hang out with us up there. We wouldn’t mind seeing you in your briefs every so often. Might be kind of fun,” I suggested, making Conner shake his head, and Neal cringe a little at the thought. “Hey, you’ve used our shower before. Seems like a good time for you to join us again. You know, let us help you get good and clean,” I suggested. Conner told me I was definitely crazy.

“Always working an angle. I got your number,” he replied. “Logan, you try out their fantastic shower with them yet?” Conner asked. Logan turned pale.

“Uh, no. We haven’t been that familiar with one another yet. Not sure if that’s such a good idea for client relationships to see me naked in my client’s shower with a bunch of them. I don’t think there’s anything in our rule book prohibiting that, but I’m sure it’s considered under the rule of ‘always exercise good judgment when working with clients’,” Logan replied.

“Oh, you have to do that sometime, as it’s the greatest,” Will told him. “It’s well worth the experience, I can assure you, Logan. I mean, it’s like getting a massage and a shower all at the same time. It’s exhilarating to say the least. We’re all used to it and just really enjoy it,” Will explained.

“Several of you shower together at the same time?” Logan asked, sheepishly.

“Absolutely. The more the merrier. It’s great, absolutely great. You could probably get fifteen guys in that shower together and really have a good time,” I replied. Logan looked somewhat shocked. “Hey, it’s just like group showers in our sports locker rooms only we have massaging shower heads with lots of pressure that hit you 360 degrees at the same time. You’ll have to try it with us. You’ll love it,” I assured him.

“It is crazy nice, I have to say that,” Conner chimed in.

“Very nice,” Neal added, with a smile. “We need to jump in there again with the boys sometime, Conner,” Neal added, getting another look from Conner. Logan wasn’t so sure.

“Hey you can’t be a prude around this group, Logan,” Kyle chimed in. “No one ever gets embarrassed any. It’s all fun and no one cares what you look like naked, so it’s all good.”

“I’m sure it is what you say it is. I’ve just never been with clients when I was naked before. It just doesn’t seem right,” Logan replied.

“Stick around us, and you’ll be a close friends soon, and the client thing will disappear rather quickly,” Will assured him, patting him on the back.

“Has Lucky ever hung out with you guys up in your apartment in his underwear?” Neal asked. I wasn’t sure how to answer that question, but went for it anyway.

“Sure, several times. He’s just happy go Lucky,” I chided. Neal about choked.

“Maybe we should hang out with them sometime in their apartment, Conner, possibly when Lucky is there,” Neal commented. Conner shook his head and rolled his eyes at the same time.

“Why don’t you just ask him to strip naked in front of you one time in the locker room so you can see what he looks like naked, then get it our of your system?” Conner asked him.

“That might be a little forward, don’t you think?” Neal asked. We all laughed.

“Hey, the boy isn’t shy, Neal. We’re all the same, just different sizes, that’s all,” I chided. Neal was thinking it over. I felt like he wanted to ask a question, but just as soon as he opened his mouth, Conner jumped in.

“Not now, Neal. Can it,” Conner said, stopping Neal with his mouth open. He closed his mouth, then took a sip of beer. I was sure he wanted to ask me what size Lucky was, but Conner stopped him before he could. I had to chuckle to myself. “Neal, we should go. We have an early morning start in the morning and you know the captain will be all over this homicide, so we’ll be plenty busy for the next few days anyway,” Conner stated.

“You guys still coming tomorrow night to provide security for Ladies’ Night, aren’t you?” I asked, concerned they might have overtime with this new case.

“We’ll be here, Josh. Don’t worry your pretty little head, as we have your covered. Lucky will be here too if Neal doesn’t rape him beforehand,” Conner joked. Neal told him he was bad.

Conner and Neal got up and stretched. “Guess we’ll see you guys tomorrow night, if not sooner,” Conner told us. I gave him a hug and told him if he needed to talk more, I was there for him, day or night. He said he appreciated our talk earlier, but reminded me to keep that to myself. I assured him I would. I suggested maybe he didn’t really need to know the results of the autopsy since it wasn’t going to change anything. He said he was debating that also, but he was a cop first and knowledge was power. I told him to be careful with that powerful knowledge. He said he would. I gave Neal a hug also, then the two took off. I told them to be careful out there. Conner waved behind him as they walked out the door.

“Why did they stop by tonight?” Will asked. I briefly told them what happened and how shook up Conner was because he knew the guy in high school, but really hadn’t talked to him much since then. Still, it happened to someone he knew and that cut deep.

“Conner isn’t usually phased by his work. He’s very objective and thorough, but this thing got to him. It was personal. I’ve never seen him like this before. It really got to him. It was good he stopped by and had a few beers with us. I think that helped him a lot, don’t you think, Jake?” I asked.

“Absolutely. He was actually joking again before he left. He looked like he’d see a ghost when he first got here. You’re right in that this murder really got to him. It gives me the creeps just to hear about it. That sort of thing doesn’t happen in your back yard that often, hopefully never,” Jake replied. I agreed.

“From the way you described it, it sounds personal,” Logan commented.

“Kind of what we all thought. I mean how many times do you have to stab a guy with a big knife to kill that person. As much as Conner said the dude was stabbed, it had to be a person full of rage doing it. He’d also have to be a bloody mess before he left the scene. I wonder if anyone saw anyone leave that looked like they were covered in blood. It’s creepy, just creepy. I don’t even want to think about it. I wonder if Clay got the story for tonight’s news,” I said. We suggested we go up and watch the news to see if he said anything. We all got up to go upstairs.

“Uh, I think I’m calling it a night, guys. Thanks for the beer again. One of these times you’re going to have to let me buy,” Logan said.

“What, you don’t want to have to strip to your underwear to watch the news with us, Logan?” I teased. He chuckled.

“It’s not really that. I don’t want you to think I’m a prude or anything, but I’m exhausted from this long day and evening. Will, you have to be also, but then you’re used to this group. I’ll see you in the office in the morning. I still have a couple of things I want to do when I get back to my apartment. I’ll see you guys later, and, again, thanks for the beer. It’s kind of neat chilling at the end of the day having a beer with you guys,” Logan remarked.

“Hey, if you want to see a bunch of horny, screaming ladies tomorrow night, you’re welcome to help us tend bar again. And, we wear shorts and a wifebeater t-shirt for that event, not underwear,” I assured him. “If you’re looking for some action, it’s a sure bet one or several would go home with you tomorrow night if you’re up for it. Doesn’t do us any good, but for someone like you, you might be interested,” I suggested.

“Depending on how tired I am, I might be able to help you tend bar, but I sure as hell am not interested in getting involved with any ladies as much work as I have to do to get ready to open the dormitory. No time for that nonsense. Will, are you helping tomorrow night?” Logan asked.

“Nope, my Wednesday nights are free lately because of certain company that shows up uninvited, and worms his way into helping our guys here. We don’t get along, and if he’s here, I’m not. One of these days Josh is going to throw him out, then I’ll be back with the team, but not as long as he’s here,” Will replied. Logan looked confused. “It’s a long story. I’ll fill you in sometime, but not tonight. It’s not worth it.” I rolled my eyes. Will shook hands with Logan, telling him he’d see him in the office tomorrow morning, then he followed us upstairs, along with Kyle, Dale, Cam and Blake.

Zach, in his briefs, was getting some ice tea when we all came barreling in. “Wow, a stampede,” he remarked, as we all came through the door. I gave him a teasing grope of his junk making him chuckle. “What’s going on? I take it the big meeting went fine. Is Tink in, or out, of the closet now?” Zach asked eagerly.

“He’s out to his Dad and Mom,” I told him. Zach got excited, yelling down the hall to Brady that Tink was out of the closet. Brady came down the hall to join us, eager to know the details. Even Garth and Dylan stopped their video game and came to hear the news. We all stripped down to our skivvies and got comfortable. I told them what all went on. They were excited that it went well, even chuckled at what Tink’s mom told him on the phone.

While they were all there, I told them all what Conner told us this evening, leaving out the gruesome details, only saying that a past friend of his in high school was murdered and was under investigation. Dylan said that was a real bummer and wanted to know how Conner was.

“Conner was visibly bummed out tonight. That got to him. He usually takes his work in stride, not letting it get to him, but tonight was different. He was visibly shaken by what he found today. Conner was one of the ones that found the guy, and it just killed him to see his past friend in that kind of shape. We wanted to watch Clay tonight to see if he got the story,” I said, then turned on the TV right as the news was coming on. Clay was anchoring tonight, Shelley being noticeably absent.

“Good evening Uni. We have some disturbing news to bring to you tonight,” Clay started off the newscast. “What normally is a sleepy quiet college town most days, has now become the scene of a brutal homicide, from what the police have reported to us this evening. A young man, Harold Parkinson, age just 27 was brutally murdered in his apartment sometime between last night and this afternoon when police stopped by to do a wellness check and found his body dead at the scene. I was there out front earlier today and this is what the police had to say,” Clay said, then switched to an earlier recorded clip. It showed him asking police question after question, but not getting any real reliable answers, mostly saying it was an ongoing investigation and they’d update the citizens of Uni as they got information they could share. There was a cut of the body being removed from the apartment in a body bag, so no visible image of the victim was shown. “Police say this was an unusual brutal murder, suspecting it was personal by the injuries inflicted, as the scene was very bloody. Police are asking anyone that might have information on this gentlemen, his friends, family, people he was employed with, to come forward and share anything that might help this investigation. Again, Harold is dead at the age of 27, such a young age to leave us, being the first homicide victim in Uni in several years. I guess we can be fortunate we don’t have many homicides, but this one is particularly troubling because of the brutality the police say must have ensued. More information as it’s available,” Clay said, then it cut to a commercial. I turned off the TV at that point.

“Okay, so they don’t know as much as we know, but that’s not for us to say,” I told the guys. They all asked what we knew. I just told them Harold was stabbed multiple times and there was blood everywhere. I warned them not to say anything or act like they knew anything because Conner told that to us in strict confidence. They all said mum was the word. Dylan looked a little rattled. “You okay?” I asked. He took his time answering.

“If Conner hadn’t rescued me from the streets and you took me in, that might have been me sooner or later. Don’t think I haven’t thought about that a million times or more. The streets aren’t safe, I’m telling you. There were many nights I’d have to move because I thought someone was stalking me. I could have been raped or worse, even killed, and no one would have known, as I was virtually a ghost to most people, other than a few other hookers, but we didn’t always see each other. I remember one other guy disappeared and some of my so-called colleagues were concerned. Come to find out, he left town and started his business in the City, where he thought he’d have more clients. He showed up about a month after he disappeared just to say hi to us. We gave him hell for not telling us he was leaving as we thought something bad had happened to him. He asked if anyone would have really cared. That’s when I thought, if anything ever happened to me, no one would even know or care. That’s horrible to think like that,” Dylan said, getting emotional. I had to hug him, telling him he was safe now, and we all cared about him and loved him. He told me that was the greatest feeling in the world, a sense of belonging to a group of guys that cared about him and loved him like we did. Garth hugged him, telling him he would have been sad had something happened to him, although he hadn’t seen him in some time during those days. They hugged one another tightly, saying they had each other and all of us now. The scary days were finally over.

“I still feel bad about this Harold guy. Was he gay?” Dylan asked. I nodded my head ‘yes’, surprised that Clay had not mentioned that in his newscast, maybe trying to avoid people thinking it was a hate crime of some sort, when the police were sure it was something personal by someone he knew. “Wow, do they have any idea who might have hated the guy that much?” Dylan asked.

“Conner said the guy was employed with Weinstein and Seward Construction, which says something right there. Conner said he had a drug problem for many years, so he thought maybe the guy was possibly mixed up in Spence and Simon’s drug business somehow. Apparently, there’s a crack in that structure with various factions trying to break away from the business and go out on their own now that Spence and Simon are in jail. That’s just conjecture, but it’s a possibility from what Conner said. Still, it gives you the willies not to know. Do we have a serial killer in town, possibly? Who knows? As bad as it was, it almost had to be personal. Someone really hated him or wanted to send a message the business had to stay intact,” I replied.

“It’s sick, Josh. It’s all sick. We have fucking evil people all around us. The average person in town has no idea what all lies underneath the surface of this town,” Dylan stated. “I used to see a lot of it when I lived on the streets. You’d see drug dealers selling drugs to kids even. How horrible is that? It’s disgusting. I’m so glad to be away from all that now. At the time it was survival for me, but I never did drugs. Hell, who could afford to, anyway? I mean the temptation might have been there, but I knew if I lost my sense of self preservation, I was a goner for sure. It was hard enough taking care of myself sober, let alone high on something. Besides, reality is so much clearer when you’re thinking straight,” Dylan commented.

“Just so you’re not thinking sexually straight,” Garth chided, then hugged Dylan. Dylan laughed.

“That’s never going to happen, as long as I have your dick and ass around and all my buds here,” Dylan teased, then chased Garth back into their bedroom.

“Are they going to fuck?” Kyle asked, jokingly. I smiled.

“I’m almost sure of it,” I replied, to their chuckling. “They are quite the couple for sure.”

It was getting late and Cam, Dale, Blake and Kyle decided they’d head home for the night. Jake and I gave them all a hug and kiss before they got dressed. It was much more fun and intimate to hug and kiss them in their briefs giving the opportunity to rub junk up against each other. I mean who would ever want to miss that opportunity?

“Is it getting a little crowded in your apartment over there with four guys?” I asked. Kyle chuckled, saying it was actually kind of cozy in a way as they all got along so well.

“I’m keeping my eye out for a larger apartment or another one so we can give Cam and Dale more privacy. We’ll see what opens up in the near future,” Kyle replied.

“I don’t really want to lose you, Kyle,” Cam commented. “I feel safe with you there, and with Dale and Blake, it just makes it even nicer,” Cam added. Kyle gave him a hug.

“I’m not leaving you buddy. If we decide to split up some, we’ll talk about it at length before we do anything. I’m happy the way it is if you guys are happy,” Kyle told Cam. Cam said he’d never been happier. “Okay, then we’ll keep going and enjoy one another’s company,” Kyle replied. We told them we’d see them tomorrow, and they were off.

Clay got back to the apartment just after our guys left. He immediately stripped down to his briefs and grabbed a beer. “I noticed you were solo tonight again,” I teased. He rolled his eyes.

“Oh, yeh. It was nice that the bitch wasn’t there tonight and out screwing Aikens when I got a top lead story to break. That looked good. Aikens is going to shit when he finds out he missed a story like that to get his hands on, and Shelley wasn’t there to grab some of the credit for the story. I just got the official info shortly before air time and had to scramble to write it up. I can’t believe something like that happened in this town. That’s just horrible,” Clay replied.

“Well, you don’t know the whole story yet, Clay. Conner and Neal were here this evening and filled us in on some of the details,” I told him, getting his immediate attention.

“You’ve got more information?” he asked excitedly. I smiled.

“I’ve got some you can’t share with anyone right now, if you can promise to keep it to yourself,” I told him.

“Oh, you know I can, but anything and everything would help give me a better perspective on the questions to ask and where to probe for more info,” Clay replied, eager to hear what I had.

“First of all, did you know that Harold was gay?” I asked Clay. He looked surprised.

“There was no mention of that in the police report. Are they thinking this was a hate crime of sorts?” Clay asked, concerned.

“No, they don’t know what it is for sure, although due to the bloodiness of the attack, they think it was definitely personal, probably by someone that knew the victim. Conner said there was no sign of forced entry so they’re pretty sure he had to know the one or ones that might have killed him,” I explained.

“OMG. Wow, this gets more intriguing. Did he say how he was murdered, because there wasn’t any mention as to how?” Clay asked.

“This is the part that can’t be disclosed, Clay. You have to keep this absolutely confidential as it would hurt their investigation if the facts of this got out,” I told him. Clay said his lips were sealed, but anything I could tell him to help him understand what happened, he’d appreciate. “The guy was brutally stabbed multiple times, leaving one hell of a bloody mess. Conner said there was literally blood everywhere. He said he’d never seen anything so bad in all his life, almost like they gutted the poor guy. I mean it really got to Conner, plus the fact he actually knew the guy didn’t help either,” I explained.

“He knew the victim personally?” Clay asked surprised. “Humm, I wonder if I could interview him to get some background information on the guy, you know, make him more human than just a name, an anonymous person?” Clay asked.

“I’d leave that alone for now. Conner took it pretty hard. They were close friends back in high school, but drifted apart after that. From what Conner told me, right after they graduated, Harold goy into drugs and hung out with the wrong people, which caused a rift between the two. He’s taking it pretty hard, even though they went their separate ways years ago. As he told me, no one deserved to die like this guy did and at such a young age. The fact that he knew him when he was drug free and a great guy, then to see him ripped apart, brutally murdered, just really got to him. I would imagine you really should interview guys he worked with at W&S Construction Co. They’d know him and what he was like recently. Conner knew him years ago,” I explained.

“I’ll do that. We need to humanize the guy some and get the public all up in arms and disgusted this happened. That might help flush out the killer, if Harold had friends that might know something or what might have brought this on,” Clay replied. “So, they really think this was personal, huh?” Clay asked.

“Very personal, Clay. I don’t think it could get much more personal,” I replied. Clay shook his head.

“You don’t think it’s a hate crime, do you?” Clay asked. I shook my head.

“Actually, we think it might have something to do with Spence and Simon’s drug operations, that there is a possibility that Harold was involved in that somehow. Conner says there’s chatter on the streets that some of Spence and Simon’s crew were going to make a break from them and go into business for themselves since the two were in jail, and it didn’t look like they’d ever get out. Conner says he thinks this was a message being sent to let those guys that are thinking about leaving their business and going out on their own, this could happen to them also. None of that can be substantiated, but the DEA is considering that’s what may have happened,” I explained. “You can’t talk about any of this, however, not until the police release it for you to report,” I warned.

“Got it, Josh, but this helps a lot in what we’re doing. We think this Kenny is one of Spence and Simon’s chief lieutenants, if not the man in charge, these days. Do you think he might have had something to do with the murder?” Clay asked, curiously. I shrugged my shoulders.

“Don’t know, but it’s possible. I’m kind of concerned about you banging Shelley with him around. That scares me some, Clay,” I told him. He gave me a nervous smile.

“Josh, if I could get to know him in this type of setting, maybe there is something I could pick up on, that might give us some answers,” Clay replied. I was still concerned. “I won’t know he has anything to do with drugs as far as he knows. I’ll just think he’s a stud with a decent cock that loves to tap Shelley,” Clay suggested.

“I know there shouldn’t be any reason for him to suspect you know anything about him or his past or present other than what you said about enjoying sex with Shelley. He obviously doesn’t mind multiple partners to help out with the task, either that, or he enjoys a little bi action. Just watch yourself, that you don’t end up on the end of his dick also,” I teasingly warned.

“I don’t think Shelley would like that, him wasting his dick on me when she could be having it,” Clay replied, with a smile. I wasn’t so sure.

“I wonder how she got messed up with the likes of Kenny. I guess she was introduced to him by Hastings and Dickerson with Aikens somehow in the mix. I guess Aikens introduced Shelley to Hasting and Dickerson, then they thought that was a way to meet, have some fun and transfer money to Hastings and Dickerson to take it to Chicago and launder it. Damn, this thing is involved. I just wonder if Shelley has any idea what is going on behind her back or between her legs,” I commented.

“Well, I know she wants me in her cunt and Kenny in her ass at the same time, so I guess I’m going to feel his cock rub up against mine inside her somehow. I don’t see how we could keep that from happening. At least that might make me cum this time,” Clay replied. Jake and I gave him a suspicious grin. “Well, it can’t hurt, especially if he’s decent looking and decently hung. Kyle seemed to like what he had at the time. Can’t be all bad,” Clay added. Jake and I weren’t so sure.

“This still on for Friday night?” I asked.

“According to her it is,” Clay replied. “She asked me if I was ready for some hot action. I told her it sounded interesting, although I’d never done anything like that before. She told me she was sure I’d like it. I guess we’ll find out.”

“I think we need to have Lucky standing by just in case things go south. I wish there was a way we could hear what was going on in there in case you get into some kind of trouble. Maybe Garth can rig something up where we can at least listen in, just in case you need us to come rescue you,” I suggested.

“You just want to hear me fucking a girl, don’t you?” Clay asked with a smile. I frowned.

“No, Clay, I want to know Kenny isn’t trying to kill you. That’s what I want to know,” I replied.

“Well, it’s kind of hard to wear a wire when you’re naked,” Clay commented. Jake and I looked at him funny.

“Maybe Garth could plant something in your jeans or something, where we could still hear. Worth asking anyway,” I told him. Clay didn’t seem to oppose the idea. “I’ll check with Garth in the morning. I think he and Dylan are a little busy at the moment, or at least they were. They’ve probably fallen asleep by now.” Clay smiled at the thought of the two having sex, based on me telling him they might be busy.

We were all kind of exhausted by this time and decided to call it a night. I gave Clay a big hug, and as I did, he surprised me, running his hands down inside the back of my briefs getting a handful of my bare buns. I could feel his cock start to harden up against mine as he squeezed my ass. “Fuck, you do know how to excite a guy, don’t you? Getting a little excited there are you?” I chided, enjoying the attention. “I’m sure Shelley feels better than me,” I teased. He scoffed at that.

“No pussy on my dick in this world can compare with yours and Jake’s dick up my ass. Guess I need to add Wes to that mix as well. Maybe he might want to sleep over tomorrow night after his performance. That would be a nice treat, actually,” Clay remarked.

“Well, if he doesn’t, then Jake and I’ll take care of your needs,” I offered. Clay thought that was a damn good deal. Then Clay surprised me and moved his right hand around to the front of my briefs and gently groped my balls and hardening cock. “Jake, I think our boy is a little horny tonight. You want to help me out here.” I suggested. Jake was busy looking at something at the kitchen island, but glanced over and saw Clay and I having an away game of pocket pool in our underwear.

“Damn, looks like you guys have something going here. Clay must be horny. Let’s just see if we can take care of that for him,” Jake said, as he joined us, sliding our briefs down to our ankles, exposing our swollen cocks and freeing them from their constraints. He slipped his off also. Clay grabbed and fondled Jake’s cock and I fondled his big balls. “Got to admit, this feels kind of good,” Jake mentioned, as he obviously enjoyed the action. He moved in for a three-way kiss, the three of us exchanging passionate kisses, as our hands roamed our bodies and fondled our junk. I licked my middle finger and slid it up a couple of knuckles into Clay’s ass, making him sigh and moan. I felt precum ooze from his piss slit which I used to lubricate his cock and my finger for more exploration of his ass.

“Fuck, you guys know how to excite me to no end. This is freaking wild. I’ve never felt like this before. It’s crazy. Playing with you guys, I don’t know how any guy could fuck a woman ever again,” Clay said, getting lost in our action.

“Maybe we should take a shower and see what happens next,” I suggested. Jake agreed, saying he wouldn’t mind getting a water massage while we washed his cock, balls and ass. I told him to get his ass in the shower and we’d show him some wonderful attention. Clay said he was all for that, as did Jake. We followed our throbbing boners to the shower and turned on the water.

I had to admit, the pelting water hitting our naked horned up bodies felt great, nice, warm and relaxing. The three of us took turns getting washed. Two of us would wash the third and take extreme privileges with each other’s bodies doing so. Jake and I had our soapy hands all over Clay. I not only cleaned his ass crack and asshole, but had a soapy finger up his asshole, making him writhe on my finger, almost immediately stopping me, telling me my finger fucking was about to make him cum. I loved massaging a guy’s prostate and watch him go half-crazy while I did it. Clay seemed to love it, but it was almost too much for him to handle. I think he preferred a penis more than a finger, but then who didn’t? What goes about comes about. I got the same treatment, reminding me how intense male attention could be, even without a dick up your ass. It was all so wonderful and enjoyable. We even shampooed each other’s hair, invigoratingly massaging the scalp. Then for shits and giggles we had to shampoo each other’s pubes too, to get them nice and clean. I got down and licked Jake’s and Clay’s balls just to make sure they were good and clean. They both loved that attention as I had to suck on them also as I massaged their assholes with a soapy finger. We horned each other up intensely, thinking we were going to need relief and soon. The water felt so good, and our attention to each other’s bodies was way out there in our minds. It felt so good. Clay leaned over to wash Jake’s calves and I knelt down behind him and spread his skinny ass cheeks apart, quickly driving my tongue into his semi-hairy asshole, taking his breath away. He grabbed his ankles. While I worked his ass, Jake stuck his cock in Clay’s mouth and Clay went to town on Jake’s throbbing cock. Jake grabbed his head and face fucked the boy, Clay enjoying every thrust. I pulled Clay’s cock down between his legs as my tongue assaulted his asshole. I could feel the ooze and stickiness of his precum as I jacked his cock like I was milking a cow. I had the guy about as excited as he could get, but I didn’t let up. I stood up and guided my hard cock to his waiting hole I had prepared for my arrival. I slapped the head of my stiff cock up against his waiting hole, teasing his tight boy cunt. I popped the head just inside him, almost taking his breath away. To my surprise, he thrust his ass backwards to bury my cock balls deep inside him. He wanted my dick in the worst way, and I was happy to give his hole what it wanted. I felt the warmth of his ass envelope my penis as I slid inside his tight warm hole. He felt so good on my dick, like his hole was made to fuck with my dick. I grabbed his hips and thrust my pelvis up against his glutes, as his cock and balls swung back and forth below him, while Jake continued face fucking the boy.

“You want some of this?” I asked Jake, as he bent over Clay’s back to kiss me.

“I kind of like where I’m at right now, but if you need me take over, just let me know,” Jake replied, as he held onto Clay’s head. Hey, my cock felt great and welcomed inside Clay. I was a most happy camper for sure, but didn’t want to hog Clay’s sweet ass if Jake wanted some of it. Feeling the pressure build up in my balls and wanting to cum, I backed out of Clay, much to his disappointment. He stopped sucking Jake’s cock, looking around at me, disappointedly.

“I didn’t want to cum yet,” I explained, then we turned Clay around to let Jake assault his ass. I swear Clay’s eyes rolled to the back of his head as Jake’s magnificent penis slid inside Clay’s body.

“Oh fuck, you guys are just the best. This is so fantastic. I don’t know who’d ever want to fuck pussy again after fucking boy ass. And to receive a dick inside you, wow, that’s just even better. Fuck that hole, Jake. Fuck that boy pussy of mine for all its worth,” Clay moaned, as the water continued to spray us. I had it at a lower setting now, so we didn’t get blasted away. It felt just right on our naked horny bodies wanting to breed intensely.

Clay had inhaled my cock to replace Jake’s, as Jake took over his ass. Jake pulled Clay backwards, and without losing his dick out of Clay’s ass, sat on bench seat we used for sitting when we shaved our balls. Clay was on Jake’s lap, Jake’s cock deep inside Clay. Clay began to ride Jake’s cock, his own cock and balls flopping around in the process. This went on for a bit, then I got an idea and grabbed Clay’s legs and lifted them up, separating him from Jake’s cock momentarily. I put his semi-hairy calves over my shoulders, and shoved my cock back inside Clay’s anxious asshole with Jake holding Clay’s shoulders. Clay was suspended between Jake and me. I held his thighs up against me while I thrust my cock deeply in and out of Clay’s sweet tight ass. Clay was ecstatic with pleasure, his arms wrapped around Jake’s neck while Jake had his arms around Clay’s chest, teasing his nipples in the process, further driving poor Clay crazy with lust. I could tell he was starting to wear out some, so I let him down, again separating him once again from a dick he so desired. Clay got down on his knees and spread his ass cheeks apart once again, clearly indicating to us he wanted someone’s cock up his ass. I gave Jake the honors. Jake got down on his knees and slipped his throbbing penis back inside Clay, again taking Clay’s breath away. I got behind Jake, and spread his knees out some, then assaulted his asshole, first with my finger, then with my dick, sliding my penis inside my love. Damn if he didn’t feel fantastic on my cock. I dearly loved his hole, and loved when our two bodies were connected this way, becoming one together and sharing some intense passion. I bent over and kissed his back, as I let him move his ass back and forth between Clay and me. All this was too intense. Clay said he needed to cum and soon. Jake rolled him over on his back, and jerked his cock until the boy sprayed his load all over the place sending it over his shoulders and on his chest. Jake and I knelt down on each side of his head and jerked ourselves off, shooting our loads at his face, Clay trying to capture as much of our loads in his mouth he could. He ate quite a bit of what we had to share with him. Jake and I then bent down, taking turns kissing Clay passionately. We looked at each other, the water still spraying away, our sperm mixing with it and flowing to the drains. I bent down and sucked Clay’s wilting cock clean of all his cum, savoring what I could get in my mouth, enjoying his taste. Jake and I stood up, then pulled Clay to his feet. Clay kissed us each very passionately several times.

“Damn, you guys are awesome. Who’d ever want to have straight sex? That would be a waste when you can have fantastic gay sex. I swear it’s the only way to go,” he said, excitedly. Jake and I hugged him between us.

Somewhat pruned from being in the water for so long, we soaped each other up again, cleaning our dicks and balls of all the sticky stuff, taking great care to clean Clay’s ass and Jake’s. We turned off the water and dried off.

“Don’t know if I’ll need Wes tomorrow night or not after what we just did. That was fucking amazing. It just gets better and better with you guys. I just love you so much,” he said, then gave us both another kiss.

“Love you too, Clay. You do have a sweet ass, one you just have to love,” I told him, making him smile. Jake agreed. “You think you can sleep good tonight after all that?” I asked.

“I may have a wet dream or two after what we just did. That was totally amazing. You blew my mind, and my dick too,” he joked. As we headed out of the bathroom, we hugged his tight naked body and kissed him one more time, patting his skinny bare ass as he left us to go to his room. Jake and I adjourned to our bedroom, falling naked onto the bed.

“Well that was fun,” I chided, as Jake curled up beside me to snuggle with me.

“The best part was when you slid your dick inside me. I liked that part the best,” Jake replied. I giggled.

“I have to admit, Jacob, I felt that was the best part also. When we’re connected like that, there’s nothing else in this world like it. It’s just genuine love, there’s no other way to explain it. Yeh, it’s nice having sex with the guys we deeply care about, but when it’s just you and I, that’s explosive. Nothing can compare, there’s no other explanation for it,” I told him. Jake leaned in and kissed me tenderly, which turned to passionately in short time. We finally broke.

“Everything okay with Conner tonight other than a friend he knew in high school was brutally murdered?” Jake asked. “You two seemed to disappear for some time. I assumed he was confiding in you, and needed to talk to a sympathetic friend, which I was glad you were able to do. I like Neal and all, but sometimes I don’t think he’s as deep as someone like Conner needs at times,” Jake stated. I smiled.

“Jake, you would not believe what he told me. I can tell you what this was about, but we can’t betray his confidence for what he told me,” I told my love. Jake said he totally understood, but was glad I could share it with him. I told him that was a given. I explained what had happened and that Harold was someone that Conner was in love with, his first love. They were friends and found one another sexually in high school, falling in love with one another. I explained that Conner was the first one to discover the body and not only was he stabbed countless numbers of times, his genitals were cut off and removed. I thought Jake was going to get sick when I told him that.

“OMG, Josh, how horrible. Did he say whether he thought he was alive or dead when that happened?” Jake asked, somewhat horrified. I shook my head.

“He didn’t know, and I’m not sure he really wants to know. I know I don’t think I want to know. This got to Conner like nothing else. Usually, he’s the strong one that takes everything in stride and helps everyone else. Jake, this really got to him. I saw that man cry for the first time in my life. I didn’t think he knew how to cry, but he did tonight. Neal doesn’t know any of this, and Conner doesn’t want him to know. Conner said that he and Harold spit up when they graduated from high school as Conner went to college and Harold didn’t. Not only that, but Harold was starting to hang out with the wrong crowd, the ones that hung with Spence and Simon. He said he got into drugs and no matter how hard Conner pleaded with him to get off them, Harold couldn’t or wouldn’t. I’m sure Spence and Simon had him doing their bidding by keeping him high on drugs. That’s what Conner thinks anyway. Conner thinks that he might have been involved with the group here in town that deals drugs and wholesales them to the City. Could be connected to Kenny for all we know. It’s actually a distinct possibility. I really worry about Clay getting anywhere near this Kenny guy. I know he thinks he might be able to find some things out if he hooks up with Kenny and Shelley, but it kind of concerns me, especially after what Conner witnessed today. Again, Conner thinks someone sent a message to the minions of the drug operation that if they had any thoughts of going on their own and leaving Spence and Simon’s drug business, Harold is an example of what can happen to someone that tries to leave,” I explained. Jake was somewhat stunned.

“Damn, Josh, now I’m going to have nightmares tonight after what you just told me,” Jake replied, somewhat seriously. I reached down and grabbed his naked cock and balls.

“Don’t worry, Jake. I’ll never let anyone cut your balls and dick off as long as I’m alive,” I promised him. He said he wasn’t sure that comforted him as much good as it sounded, saying if we weren’t careful and those boys played as rough as they did, we both could end up like that. I kissed him goodnight, telling him to have sweet dreams. We soon fell asleep in each other’s arms.

This chapter followed up the heavy mood of the previous one.
And even in this situation, FT, you did well. :=D:

There are hints of possible connections between the murder and what they are investigating through Clay about W&S's involvment with drugs and it seems that maybe all of these threads are going to be woven together and be part of a huge amount of shit that's ruining the place our Bent boys are.

On a positive note, Clay is happy for another chance to enjoy Josh and Jake :luv2: who wouldn't :luv:

Can't wait for what's next :corn:

And as always, great work ..| so keep it coming FT, keep it cumming ..|

I agree with Thanatos's comments.

I think Simon and Spence are linked to what happened to Harold either as a signal to others in their organization to continue to toe the line or there is a power struggle taking place by someone new who is taking down those who are loyal to Simon and Spence by making a example of Harold.

The mood in this chapter was heavy and dark at times but you pulled everything together as usual FT.

I'm excited for the next installment hopefully tonight.
