Chapter 674 - D
“So what started the fuck marathon, if you don’t mind me asking?” I asked. He smiled.
“A major argument. We had a serious argument earlier in the afternoon,” Will replied to my surprise. I cocked my head as if I didn’t believe that to be true. “I’m serious,” he said, reaching for more beer glasses to fill, pulling them out of the chiller as fast as Dylan and Garth were putting them in it seemed. I told him I found that hard to believe as wonderful as both of them were. “You know what it was about too. Even your name got brought up in all of this,” Will told me. I was stumped by that statement, asking what the hell did he involve me for. Will smiled. “Josh, you know Forest and I have a great sex life together, but we have absolutely no social life at all. It’s like we live in two different social circles, his without any gay friends at all, just straight, and my world, which involves tons of gay friends, not to mention the company we operate being mostly gay. I told him I needed him to come to some of our social events, such as the Sunday night get-togethers, and possibly even the skinny-dipping parties, which I’m quite fond of. I’d love to show him off, if you know what I mean,” Will replied, tongue in cheek, making me chuckle.
“Hell, if the rest of the guys could see him naked, they’ll be standing in line for him to fuck,” I warned.
“Exactly. And I’d be the gatekeeper, keeping him just for me, making the rest of them jealous,” he boasted, making me smile as we continued earnestly filling beer glasses. “Actually, I’d just like to be with him and share the same friends, and him let me be with him in his social circles. He told me that’s just not possible, and that I should know better. I reminded him that you know him only too well and care about him also. He’d be welcome anytime to spend time with us,” Will said.
“I’ve invited him to anything we have going on. I know he’s concerned that Dave, Caleb and Chase are team members and he shouldn’t fraternize with them socially, especially in a sexual situation, but no one knows about our parties and he’s not having sex with anyone even at our social events,” I explained.
“Oh, he’s petrified of someone thinking he might be gay. That Tennessee experience involving him and Dave just killed him, Josh. He’s never going to get over it. I told him it wasn’t right having to live his life in the shadows. He told me that sometimes you just had to do what was expected of you, and keep your true self to yourself. Well, I told him that was bullshit and no way to live your life. I told him he was going to live one hell of a lonely life with that attitude. Needless to say, it got kind of heated. When it couldn’t get any worse, I made the mistake of telling him, I certainly couldn’t love anyone with an attitude like that as it was selfish for any partner he might have. I shouldn’t have said that, as that cut kind of deep. He broke down and cried, saying he never wanted to lose me, but certainly didn’t want to hurt me either. I grabbed him and hugged him for the longest time. Then we had some of the hottest sex ever. Make up sex is fantastic. I always heard it was, but I’ve never had to make up with anyone. Just kill be dead if I ever think of making up with Jules. That will never happen,” Will replied. I about choked along with him.
“So, my guess is that all is great between the two of you now, but nothing has really changed,” I replied. He smiled.
“You got it right, Josh. Nothing has changed. It’s terrible that we’ve come to this as we both feel like we truly love one another, but for me, a part of my life is missing, the part I can’t share things with you and our brothers with him. And the same goes, I can’t share his social life either, as people will suspect he might be gay like me. I told him it was a damn shame he had to act like he was ashamed of me. That got him also. He told me he'd never be ashamed of me. I told him by virtue of the fact I couldn’t share his social life, that made him ashamed of me. I mean it’s true,” Will said rather emphatically.
“How’d that go over?” I asked. Will shook his head.
“That hurt him also. He asked me if I wanted him to give up his coaching career and do something where he didn’t have to hold an image of a straight man. I told him nothing doing as he loved coaching, and was damn good at it too. I told him Tuck loved him like a brother and needed him. I even told him how much Tuck loved you, which he totally agreed, so maybe he’d still love him if he was gay. Forest said he wasn’t even going to go there. I don’t know, Josh, there’s just so much we have to work out before I let myself get too deep into a relationship with him. Right now we enjoy each other’s company in private and the sex is out of this world, with the exception of the sex I have with you, and you and Jake, because it’s even more genuine I feel like. We’re not afraid to tell the world we love one another and show it when we can or feel like it, unlike the love I have for him which has to be closeted. It just sucks, that’s all I can say,” Will explained.
“Relationships are the best, real and genuine, out in the open with nothing to hide,” I replied, then wanted to kick myself thinking about the afternoon I had with Tyler, definitely hidden for his sake. Will concurred, saying he hoped he could convince Forest someday to live his life the way it was meant to be, before he had to find a new boyfriend that could. “I hope, for both your sakes, you can find a happy medium to be able to enjoy one another in both worlds,” I told him. Will grabbed me, hugged me, and kissed me passionately. Dollars flew from everywhere.
Things finally slowed down some, not quite as ramped as they had been. Cal asked me what Will’s problem was, as he was so damned good looking, he shouldn’t have any problem finding a great guy to love. I told Cal he had a great guy, but they lived in two different worlds. Cal said that sucked, but hoped they could find a way to keep going. I told him Will was working on it with his boyfriend. Cal asked who that was. I told him it was better left unsaid. Cal rolled his eyes, but dropped it. He told me he was with the FBI and could find out if he wanted to. I told him it wouldn’t serve any purpose for him to know so just to forget about it. He just chuckled.
Somehow Riley wormed his way onto a bar stool in front of me. I swear he must have given the dude sitting there a hundred bucks to leave, but he got the seat. There he was smiling at me. “Well look who showed up to slum with us cheap folks,” I replied. “You come to make fun of us little people?” I asked, somewhat insultingly. He rolled his eyes.
“Hey, you know I love you and that will never change. You took my cherry for shit’s sake, and I’ll always love you for that,” he replied, rolling his eyes as if he wasn’t going to let me get the best of him. “By the way, I see you hired our darling Stewart. What happened, you get hungry for some fresh new ass?” he asked. I almost threw a wet towel at him.
“No, on the contrary, we found a great new wonderful friend with a beautiful heart that we just fell in love with. It just happened that you didn’t recognize the beauty of this great guy, and just tossed him in the trash bin after you thoughtlessly used his cock for sex,” I replied, being sarcastic. Again he rolled his eyes, like an elitist snob, scoffing at my reply.
“You really mean you found a beautiful young man with a hot new ass you liked to sink your cock in and fuck,” Riley replied. I told him he was almost worthless if he couldn’t see the value and beauty in people, especially ones that were trying to befriend him. Then he surprised me. “Josh, he was too good for me,” Riley replied, which nearly knocked me over. I did a double take.
“What did I hear you just say, and be honest about this or I might possibly hate you more than I do right now,” I replied.
“You couldn’t really hate me could you? Not after all we’ve been through together?” he asked. I glared at him.
“Okay, I find it almost impossible to hate anyone. Dislike, yes, but not actually hate, unless you murdered one of my friends or something like that. But, honestly, Riley, I couldn’t see how in the world, as sweet a guy as Stewart is, how you could possibly treat him like you did. That was just wrong,” I told him adamantly. I thought he was going to cry.
“Josh, I did if for his own good. He needs friends like you, not me. I can’t love people like you do. I’m not being an elitist snob like you accuse me of. I could tell he was a great guy, but I’m not the kind of guy he needs. He needs loving, caring friends like you and your partners to care about him. I’d just ruin him and toss him aside. I’m just in it for the pleasure and he’s in it looking for love. I knew he was all wrong from the start. I just wanted another asshole personality like mine, that liked to fuck and then go our separate ways. Stewart is a keeper, let’s face it. He’s where he belongs with you and your guys,” Riley replied. I shook my head, then told Will to pinch me to see if I was really standing here listening to Riley. Riley shook his head. “You know I’m right,” Riley added.
