Chapter 722 - C
“Studs, Josh. We are so studly in our tuxes. Damn, aren’t we good looking,” he said with his arm on my shoulder. I had to admit we were two damn good-looking dudes for sure all decked out in our tuxes.
“You ready as it’s about time we headed that way?” I asked.
“Let’s do it, buddy,” Tuck replied with determination. “Are we all set? Everything in place ready to go?” he asked. I told him ‘let’s do it’. He hugged me one last time and kissed me on the lips. “You’re the first one I’ve kissed in this monkey suit. What do you think about that?” Tuck asked. I told him I thought it made my dick hard. He laughed, then groped me, making me jump. He then patted me on my ass and I patted him on his as we walked out the door. “I’ll send someone by in the morning to return the tux to you to take back to Uni. Pack up my clothes I took off today and the small suitcase I brought with me and take that back also. Millie has all new clothes for us already packed for the honeymoon. And don’t be sniffing my boxers for a whiff of Hector while I’m gone,” he chided, making me chuckle, telling him he was something else.
It was still a little early when we got outside to the wedding purview. Forest and Taylor were there in their tuxes, both looking damned hot in my mind. “Look at you guys how nice you cleaned up,” I told them. They shook their heads at me. Tuck was talking to the minister.
“I see you got our buddy all cleaned up and back in shape,” Forest chided. I told them both that was definitely a labor of love for what he put me through. They both said they understood completely. I told them they had no idea. Joey came limping over to us.
“Damn, you guys look sharp. You wouldn’t believe what I just went through having to help my wife get dressed for this shindig, while my leg was still hurting. I told him it wasn’t much better with Tuck as he was somewhat tipsy when I left found him after I left his room. “No. OMG, Josh. What did you do?” he asked. I told him about stuffing coffee down him and having to clean him up and get him dressed. We were far enough away from Taylor and Forest that Joey said, “kind of what you had to do for me with my leg the way it was,” he chided. I smiled.
“Yes, but I didn’t have to fuck Tuck, thankfully,” I replied to a huge smile from Joey.
“That was amazing, Josh. I can’t tell you how wonderful that felt. I will remember that for a lifetime, trust me. Oh, hey, I’m supposed to give you the wedding ring for Tuck to put on Millie’s finger. God help me if I forgot that,” he said, fishing it out of his pocket. I put it in a secure pocket in my tux coat. “Good, it’s your responsibility now. Have you seen our two naked boys this evening?” Joey asked. I told him not yet, but suspected they were over at the big tent where the reception was going to take place. He suspected the same. The minister beckoned us to him, so I left Joey, telling him I’d see him later at the reception. Tuck, Forest, Taylor and I huddled up with the minister. He told us that all of us, with the exception of Tuck, should help usher people in, asking them if they were friends of the bride or groom and sit the bride’s friends and family on the left and the groom’s family and friends on the right. I told the minister we were about the only friends and family Tuck had so did it really matter as it was mostly going to be Millie’s friends and family.
“Oh, heck, just put them anywhere so it’s not so uneven,” he replied. I was glad to have that settled, avoiding an embarrassing situation with no one on Tuck’s side. I was sure Millie didn’t want that.
Taylor, Forest and I would escort the ladies to rows with their husbands following. There were some sweet little old ladies that just thought we were the most handsome guys in the world, I was kind of shocked to see a couple of old spinsters with young escorts wondering how much these boys were being paid to escort the older ladies to weddings so they could show off their boys. A couple of them set off my gaydar making me laugh. Even Forest couldn’t get over some of what we dealt with.
There was this woman decked out to the nines, dripping in jewelry that came up and grabbed my arm followed by her husband who was tall and looked wealthy for sure. “The grooms side, please, up front,” she told me, triggering my curiosity, as Tuck hadn’t mentioned anyone coming from is side of the family.
“How are you related to Tuck if I may ask?” I asked. She looked at me rather sternly.
“I’m Tuckerton’s mother,” she said rather sharply, shaking my boots. “And how do you know Tuckerton?” she asked me rather curtly. I told her I was Tuck’s little brother in our fraternity and his best man for the wedding. “Humm!” she replied rather sharply, as I let go of her arm arriving at a front row seat on the aisle which was the grooms parent’s designated spot, I knew from previous weddings. I shook hands with Tuck’s father and introduced myself. He didn’t have much to say, but seemed fairly polite, not overly friendly as one would think he might be having just met his son’s best friend. Tuck was back behind the purview with the minister. I snuck back there to warn him, not wanting him to have a shit-fit seeing his parents there right in front of him as he said his vows. I was also grateful we left out the question of someone objecting to the wedding as I thought there might have been a chance the parents might have.
I found Tuck. I’m sure he could see the concern on my face as I caught up to him and the minister. “Tuck, what would be the most concerning thing in your mind while saying your vows to Millie?” I asked, somewhat concerned.
“Good grief, Josh. I don’t think anything I could think of would concern me on this day that I know of. I would be pissed if I looked out and saw my parents there, but they weren’t invited, so I guess unless there’s a tornado coming or Millie ran off, we should be good,” Tuck replied. He still noticed my concern.
“Uh, I don’t know how to tell you this, but I just met and seated your parents,” I told him to his shocked face.
“Oh shit! She did it. She really did it. Shit! Oh sorry, pastor,” Tuck replied upset, then remembered he was cussing in front of a minister.
“I take it there is some kind of riff between you and your parents?” The pastor asked. Tuck hung his head and basically told the minister his parents did not approve of him marrying anyone that didn’t have a Washington, DC pedigree and he would only marry for love, thanks to me. “Maybe they’re ready to make amends,” the minister suggested.
“I think it’s more like they’re ready to start a war. Mille told me it wasn’t right for us to get married and not invite them to the wedding. I guess she took it upon herself to invite them and not tell me. That’s almost grounds for divorce before we even get married,” Tuck replied to the minister’s concern.
“Oh, Tuck, surely not. I’m sure she was hoping to make amends with you and your family as she became part of the overall family. You can’t hold that against her, Tuck,” the minister replied.
“Did they say anything to you, Josh?” Tuck asked.
“I asked them how they knew you, and they told me they were your parents. They didn’t seem all that nice, if you really want to know. That mother of yours is kind of gruff,” I replied. Tuck told me I didn’t know the half of it. “Anyway they’re sitting in the front row of the groom’s side so don’t be too shocked when you see them. It’s a good thing we left out the question of objection in the ceremony,” I added. Tuck said that was the understatement of the year.
“I suppose I should go talk to them and warn them if they try to disrupt the wedding, I’ll have them removed from the premises and possibly arrested,” Tuck replied. “Come on with me, Josh. I might need backup. What do I say to them? Sorry you came as I didn’t really want you here?” he asked me before we took off. I rolled my eyes.
“This is one of the most important days of your life, Tuck. Try to get past all the old history and get them to buy into sharing this day with you. Tell them you’re glad they were able to be here and share this moment with you. Tell them how much you love Millie and how proud you are of being able to introduce her to them. Act like nothing happened before and everything in the past is forgotten and washed clean. That’s what I’d suggest any way. See if that gets you anywhere with reconciliation,” I suggested. Tuck said he thought I was crazy but offering up an olive branch was better than just throwing them out, although he still thought that might not be a bad idea. I chuckled, but told him to be the man he believed himself to be now, and to show them how proud he was to be that man. I got a quick hug.
We walked out from behind the makeshift curtain behind the outdoor altar and there they were. They stood up when they saw Tuck. He didn’t hug them at first, but started off by saying he was glad they were able to make it, and he was happy to have them there with him for this day.
“This wasn’t at all what we planned, Tuckerton. I mean we don’t even know this girl of yours. Are you sure you know what you’re doing?” his mother asked him, rather curtly.
“I’ve never been more sure about anything in my life. I love this woman more than life itself. Josh loves her too,” he replied, looking over to me. I said she was wonderful in all our eyes.
“Studs, Josh. We are so studly in our tuxes. Damn, aren’t we good looking,” he said with his arm on my shoulder. I had to admit we were two damn good-looking dudes for sure all decked out in our tuxes.
