Chapter 871 - D

“Do you think it’s possible to find a girl in college, someone more academic than what you would meet in high school that wasn’t just interested in finding a husband and getting laid, that you could share common interests with? And, if you could, could you imagine developing feelings for her and possibly falling in love getting to a point where you could share that love physically with her?” I asked.

“Sure, it’s possible. I haven’t had the opportunity to meet anyone so far, but the semester is just starting and I’m sure there will be many girls in my classes I’m taking that I might meet and enjoy. Not sure they’d bother showing us anything they didn’t want us to see. Don’t know if any of the boys speak any English or not,” I commented.

“None of the ones I’ve been around seemed to understand English or speak it for that matter. That might be a way that Nicki keeps them in line. No telling what he tells them about us Americans. Chapter 871 - E

Done with Greg, I headed downstairs to catch Cal to tell him my final arrangements. I got huge hug from him. “True. Very true. Well, just do the best you can with memorizing the layout and all the security procedures that you can see. Anything would be a big help to use in the future if we have to. I’m just excited as shit that I can get something done with this investigation while the Miami Bureau sits there holding their own dicks. “I have to be asked by the Miami Bureau for help to intercede since it’s not my territory. You gave me the information to begin with, otherwise I would never have looked into it and found out what I did as the limp dicks in Miami cant’ get their dicks out of their hands to actually investigate something. “Hey, the Bureau will deny that you had any involvement with us at all, but they will get the local sheriff to go get you and charge you with trespassing. Don’t worry though as we’ll bail you out,” Cal replied.

“The more I hear from you the more concerned I am that this is not a good idea and maybe I should just stay home. Thanks a lot,” I told him rather perturbed. Cal chuckled, telling me not to worry about anything there as he had my ass covered. What I could do is start going to practices with you, Josh, since you and I are close friends. That would let Tuck get to know me better, seeing me more often. Then maybe we tell him down the line,” Cal suggested.

“I don’t want to have to entertain you at practice all the time. I’ll think about it,” I told him. He reminded me we had practice tonight which I confirmed, but was not ready to start a big commotion and then leave town right away. “We do have an investigation we’re staring on, in case you forgot,” I reminded him. He told me he’d behave, but he might just have pet my balls occasionally for shits and giggles. “Don’t think that will impress Tuck any, Cal. “I have work to do if you have nothing to add for what I’m doing in Key West this week,” I finally said.

“I don’t see any problems as there aren’t any complaints about Nicki anywhere in our system or the locals for that matter. As far as everyone is concerned, he’s a law-abiding guest in our country. Yeh, he likes Logan and the two get along great, but don’t think for a minute he wouldn’t drop Logan if something happened between Jake and you that freed you up. That boy practically gets an erection every time you’re near him. Well, I guess now we know what Bryce wanted to talk about when he said he needed to talk to Josh. We definitely know it wasn't a discussion he had in mind. He wanted Josh's dick for sure. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, I'm wondering if Kirk isn't falling for Josh somewhat, but then who doesn't? They tease each other some, but that's generally the way things get started. Will this become a lover's triangle of sorts. Where is Jake in all of this? He may have to get involved. So much going on all over the place.

Josh is setting the stage with Cal to meet with Nicki. Josh has no idea what he's walking into which is scary to an extent, although he always manages to make things work out. He almost bought the farm with Rowen that one night in Clay's apartment when X showed up. That was a tense moment. Not expecting anything like that with Nicki, but who knows. I'm sure the meeting will be interesting however it turns out.

Thanks for your comments, BC. Bryce is still an enigma in Josh's mind. Josh loves him, but can't quite figure out what it is that Bryce needs in the form of love or which gender he prefers. Does he love Josh just for Josh or is he attracted to guys and just doesn't see beyond Josh yet. We'll see what happens.

In this next chapter, Josh makes his last checks regarding ongoing business, especially the new dorm. He's also brought up to date on the number of shareholders to be initiated on Friday night, a number that shocks him some. Then he attends the Basketball practice where walk-on candidates will be evaluated, with Tuck and Forest needing his help in doing such. He's a busy boy until he heads for Key West.

Chapter 872 – Checking Out the Dorm, Planning the Initiation and Basketball Practice

Although Kirk was disappointed that he couldn’t fulfill his dream of having a love affair, including hot sex, with Bryce, he did seem like he was thrilled to be here with us. Tuck got several questions from both the would-be wall-on guys about the program and some from his returning team members. He sent the walk-on tryouts out to warm up as the rest of us watched to see if we saw any immediate talent that excited us. Then he sent Dave and Caleb out to mess with them, then Chase. Tuck told the guys to try to keep Chase from stealing the ball from them. A couple said they were stealing proof, but Chase proved them wrong. They suddenly became more humble after that. Tuck ran the drills several times to see if they could figure out how Chase was stealing the ball. Two out of the mix finally were able to keep him from it. Tuck told them Chase was one of the best in NCAA Basketball league for stealing balls, also telling the troops he was one of the guys I insisted on keeping when Tuck thought he was too short and we should keep a taller athlete. Tuck reminded them that’s why my insight was so important. Kirk, who was sitting next to me, patted me on the back.

“You never played basketball at all?” Kirk asked me. Tuck ran the new hopefuls through several drills along with our own guys. Chapter 873 – Discussing Bryce With Kirk and A Little Slice of Heaven

“I am glad for the opportunity to have you with us, Kirk. I know you’re going to be a very valuable part of our organization. You’ve already proved yourself helpful and willing to work on anything so that says a lot right there. “I get it, and I’ll honor your wishes, Bryce. I’m just happy to be reunited with you in friendship and not have to treat you like I was forced to when in high school. You’ll never know how much that hurt me as well as you,” Kirk replied. I was beginning to think we started something we didn’t want to start.

“Hey, I’m sorry if I started something between you two. I sure as hell didn’t mean to do that. I care about you both now so can we all be close?” I asked. “Hey, Bryce, you looked good out there tonight working with the team. I can tell they like you also and you work well with them,” Kirk commented, trying to soften the tone, catching Bryce by surprise, attempting to give him some praise. .

“Thanks, Kirk. I do enjoy the guys. We’ve been practicing together all summer so we kind of know each other’s strengths and abilities. There are times I feel like when you and I played together. We each knew what the other was capable of and how to maximize the talent together, passing off to each other and setting up shots. I always felt comfortable with you and what we could do together. I feel the same way with most of the guys on the team I have to interact with. I feel lucky, and extremely grateful, that Josh spared me and got me into this program. If he hadn’t offered to house and school me for a year, I wouldn’t be here today. I can never thank him enough for that,” Bryce said, reaching over and squeezing my hand again.

“Looks like we both were rescued by Josh, just me a summer later,” Kirk commented. Bryce said that was very true in a way, not wanting admit Kirk’s rescue was less than his.

I know what you do is important, but please have a safe trip and come back to us soon.
