What are songs that are making airplay currently that are annoying the living hell out of you?


I listen to the radio at work and I find myself switching stations often because I can't stand certain songs.


My current list:


"Boom Boom Pow" by Black Eyed Peas; disposable shit.

"How Do You Sleep?" by Jesse McCartny ft. Ludacris; how did this tool get Ludarcris to do a song with him? Seriously, this guy's voice is like scratching a nail to a chalk board.

"Lips Like Sugga" by Florider; everything this guy releases is god awful and the skank that sings the chorus stole that tune from Eiffel 65. A perfect example of why rap music has gone to shit.

"Dead and Gone" by T.I. and Justin Timerlake; I didn't mind this song the first few times I heard it but there is only enough of Justin's whiny ass voice a man can handle.

"Blame It on the Alchohol" by T. Pain; this song is OK in small doses. Sadly, the radio feels necessary to play this three times an hour.

"If U Seek Amy" by Britney Spears; this stupid bitch thinks she's cute releasing this "controversial" song. The lyrics are fucking stupid and don't even make that much sense and the "babahy babahy" shit makes me want to smack her.

It's actually Jamie Foxx's song....I didn't know it at first either...I thought it was straight T-Pain through the whole song...but nope there are actually two people singing on that song....weird...lol.


I haven't really listened to the radio in a long time...but flipping through video channels and such this song...haven't even listened to the whole thing but I've seen the video like 5 times in the past day and a half on MTV Jams...and it's RIDICULOUS

arggh there are so many that are played so many times on the same station in one day and have been played for the last three months it seems like. Those are just my top five to lay waste to right now.

i was SO gonna start a thread like this after hearing Boom Boom for the millionth time, at the beginning of CSI NY last night!!!
 
Actually I love how If you seek Amy got edited to "If you see Amy". I LMAO'd so hard then died a little inside for stupid censorship.

I agree with most of the songs listed.

This is gonna sound so damn pretentious but am sure I'm not the only one who feel the same. So..yeah.Anything that get's airplay outside of college radio, really. Same shit over and over like every 15 mins or so you'd hear the same song.

i'm also getting tired of "day and night"
not a bad song... i loved it when it first came out... but now its just overplayed and annoying.

no you are absolutely right! Aside from that or XM, where they can actually play what they want and what people want to hear, the majority of radio stations suck really bad. It hasn't always been this bad...but now its pretty much intolerable.
