well this is eye opening.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dawson not too long ago, and while we didn't discuss any specific transition at CF, it seems to me that the writing is on the wall. It looks like he's exploring other projects, less and less performance, focusing on more of the business of excelsior, and maybe settling down. Although i must say the agency escort ad makes it a little suspect.
I did also happen to be in a chat with him, i think the last time he chatted on CF live, and he said he had been taken off the roster.
I do agree that if he retired, it would be a big loss. He is my all time favorite model, and the one person who provided me the most educational tool I can use as a grown up! His Preshow Show is my bottoming bible. Dawson is everything i ever hoped to get out of a man. His face could cut glass, and his body could cut diamonds, those icy blue eyes make me wish i was an eskimo just to have something like them to look at like that every day, and the way he carries himself, just doesn't leave room for words, he's charming and well spoken and quite the classy guy. Hes always looked marvelous to me to me, and I imagine him doing so for years to come.
The interesting thing about the culture at CF is that it has always been, tight knit and close, to protect the models and keep the alure so -- shiny, I think they're now realizing its hurting them, and again, the writing is on the wall -- as it is being proverbially torn down. Social media profiles are cropping up, and events are happening and are in the works. Change is certainly in the air at Excelsior, we'll just see if our Dawson will be a part of that change.
