I like the name of the movie....and not much else in the promo

I tried to get excited about the trailer, but it was just kinda uneventful

Maybe I need to see the original to get excited about this one, but still it was kinda 'meh'

Thanks for the clip Paxton! I love Keanu and will watch anything & everything he's in. Maybe it's a good thing that it looks nothing like the original. Can't wait to see it! Keanu rules.

This really reminds too much of "War of the Worlds", but it does seem to have a respectable cast. I mean come on, Katy Bates is a legend in her own time.

some of the remakes are not to bad wotw was ok but the a regnal was much better i`ll go and see this one i hope thay levi when worlds collide alone

There are some movies that were so well done the first time they should have 'hung up the jersey.'

The Day The Earth Stood Still was done flawlessly in 1951, and has withstood the test of time for more than half a century. Not only was it superbly well done, it featured the first use of a score featuring electronic music. The late Bernard Hermann composed the score, and he used the Theremin, which I believe was one of the very first gadgets to produce electronic music.

I have no intention of wasting my time on a remake.
