Agree. There's nothing "funny" about hoping people will die. What if someone came up to you and said, "I hope you die soon." There is no the "milk of human kindness" being displayed here. (Of course, much of the country seems to have the same problem, but what can you do about mental illness???)

Then again, some threads originators are telling you who they are by their threads. Makes for interesting reading.
 
When sexual taboos are out, some other must replace it: death, for example.

I find there are far worse things being said to each other on the net every day, particularly when politics are involved.

Where did you read "hope" they'll die? It is think or expect they'll die.
