Her daughter Ashley has now said that she shot herself.
 
David Milgaard - Dead at 69.

In 1969, at age 16, David was tried and convicted of the rape and murder of a nursing student. He spent 23 years in prison before being released in 1992. He was exonerated in 1997 when forensic tests determined that DNA from semen found on the student's clothing did not match David's. (The real killer was found, convicted, and spent the rest of his life in prison.)

David died yesterday after a short illness (pneumonia).

Pity the best composers were dead long before they had the possibility of recording their own versions of their work :rolleyes:
