Olaf was kissing a paramount at the Hugo de Groot plein when he got into an argument with the people of the snackbar IBO (there's another snackbar there now, of the FEBO chain) and he decided to have a kiss-in that was attended by scores and scores of people with umbrellas... covered by the media. Then a less salubrious (Jan Roos, if memory serves) journalist suggested he kiss a woman and Olaf spit him in the face.

I came by there because it was near my late lovers' studio but there were so many people there you could only see umbrellas.

Later Olaf was at the Artist's Bar at Wasteland Festival and I attempted to talk to him when he was standing before the bar alone.

He never replied, but later they told me that was typical of him.

I could say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...but you need to be on this so hard.

My throat is so raw, I literally cry any time I know I am about to cough. Otherwise, I'm ok.

I have bourbon, and Grand Marinier, but my med precludes it. Something about not waking up.

I'm sorry to hear that. The Association was one of my favorite groups growing up. If you listen to their music today, it sounds like soft rock, though I didn't think of it that way when the group was hot.
