From the online accounts I read, he wasn't trying to prevent the theft, i.e., not taking on the thieves. He walked upon it with a friend at 3:30 a.m. after a bar closed and thought they were prepping his car to tow it.

When they turned and he saw they were masked, he realized what was happening, but he had asked them if they were towing him, and that caused them to turn and attack him, firing and killing him.

He stepped back when he saw they were trash and stepped in front of his female co-worker, which may have saved her.

Human garbage. The man who has no regard for what you worked for and will steal it, will kill you just as quickly.

Slightly less than 50% of homicides in the U.S. are ever solved.

The media foment about the tiny number of justice system misdeeds instead of the heads of these walking human filth. Over 10,000 murdered citizens never receive justice every year. Their blood cries from the soil, just as it is written.

At almost 100 years, it's was about time for that childhood to die.

At one time, she would have been bounced from her job once she started looking older....glad she made it to the finish line.

Having written this, some of the flights we have taken over the last 15 years that were populated with hatchet faced sky waiters providing shit service but protected by their unions made me wistful.
