Scroll down to "Thread Display Options" and then under "Visible Post Elements", make sure "Show Images" is checked.
That might fix it for you... otherwise, I'm not sure.

Like when I look at FullMonty's post a few above mine, I can see his large picture and the small thumbnails at the bottom.

On my own post, I dont see a picture, only the link and my text.
