Does anyone else remember this TV show when they were kids? I used to watch it after Sesame Street. Man, this video brought back memories :) .... Especially the "HEY YOU GUYYYYYYYYYYYS!!" yell in the beginning!

For the young'uns ... look for younger Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno as cast members in the video!

OMG, I love that show as a kid. I remember watching it every day after school. Dam makes me feel really OLD now LOL.

Is this the show where the the cartoon construction character was climbing up the real life kid and naming his body parts like "the knee, the chin, the ears, the hair". When I was a kid I was so fascinated by that segment.

(I hope someone knows what I'm talking about. Please verify if you can.)

That show was a must on my daily watch list when I was a kid. Those type of shows helped make me the warped individual that I am today. Thanks Public Television and thank you Cathode Ray Babysitter!

I was born in 1979, but this show was on when I was in nursery school from 82-84. We used to watch it in the blue room every morning before arts and crafts.

That sounds vaguely familiar ... def. rings a bell. I would bet $$ that you used to love those Schoolhouse Rock segments on ABC ... "Conjunction Junction, what's your Function?" ... I think I will start a thread on this LOL.

I know I watched it cause I remember the show but nothing really about it. I do recall Dyno woman or whatever her name was. I must have been 4 or 5 when it came out. I saw that Seasame St the earl 70's season 1 just came out. Now who the hell would buy that? Don't get me wrong I watched it and loved it as a kid and I love the 70's but still who would sit down and watch that now?

Stoners, that's who.

Is this the show where it has the line '3-2-1 Contact.. something something?'

And the one with the Spidey's theme - Spiderman, where are you coming from (???)...

My memory is low low now.

Is it?

Holy crap, I was just thinking about this show the other day. I was watching "The Ringer" with Johnny Knoxville, and the maintenance man who loses his fingers looked and sounded really familiar, then I realized it was Luis from the Electric Company! Then I remembered Morgan Freeman, and Rita Moreno screaming out "Hey You Guyyyyyyyyyyyys!" It would be great to watch a highlights special of this show.

3-2-1- Contact was a completely different show that came on in the 80's. It was a really cool science show about all kinds of topics. It was shown on public television just like The Electric Company. I remember watching it after school each day. It only last for a couple of years though.

Oops! I am so sorry. How embarassing.

Thanks ya.
