Even though he is in a relationship, you should still let him know how you're feeling right now, then it's up to him to decide whether this romance is really over or not. GET IN CONTACT WITH HIM, either to end it nicely (apologize sincerely and wish him well, and possibly friendship), or "re-ignite" the fire (tears and kisses?).

Dude, I know what you mean by being 21 and not wanting to play the field...Well, I'll be 21 on New Years day BUT I feel the same about not wanting to play around...

Anyway, the only thing that I can think of saying has already been said on here. Try not to compare other guys to him and try to go on with your life. You don't have to start dating until you're ready but try to do things with friends to get your mind off of things. Once you realize that you don't need him you can do whatever you want to.
