It's interesting to look at Elvis' static expression without the contrived stage expressions. He mugged so much.

Here, he looks like he might be wearing eyeliner, but then he appears almost Italian.

But, when you back up and think about it, his face is almost a dead ringer for the Statue of Liberty. For what it's worth, his bloodline included Norman French. Same horse nose, full pout lips (slightly downturned), and broad separated brows. For reference and comparison, here is a closeup:
