The older Caddies, whether Land Yachts, or "Station Wagons", were POWERFUL, SMOOTH, and nowhere near as "Road Worthy"/Drivable as Today's Caddies. 
I'm surprised I didn't manage to kill myself, or others, while trying to manoeuvre them through their "less than sensitive" steering, and "just roll on/around/through" road manners!
They were, indeed, Tanks!

"Cloud Soft" Comfy! Butt, also, "Cotton Ball" handling!

Today's Caddies are a FAR Cry from their predecessors! (Thank Goodness!)
Yes, Virginia, Progress can be a Very "Good Thing"!
