Epic Fall,
Thanks for the warning, and I am certain that death is closer than I might think.
As for this movie, 3-D or not, I have no plans to view it. I need happier things to think about and plan for, like me next coupling with me partner.

Shep+:eek::eek:

Yourself. He's already taken. :|

Anyway, movie looks awesome!!! Have to see it in 3d, there's no way I'm settling for 2D with this movie... maybe.

I miss the guy who was in first movie. He is fucking hot. I forgot his name. He was also in Dawson Creek and did a gay scene.

^Kerr Smith

And I can't believe they're actually making another sequel. The first was okay, the second was watchable, but the third was downright atrocious.

I couldn't possibly imagine seeing that in 3-D

I've never had any desire whatsoever to watch any of the movies.

It's classified as 'horror', but I consider them and other 'slasher' movies of that genre BG&G (Blood, Guts, and Gore). They don't scare people. They just gross people out.

^You should really watch them, and then judge.

I'm not judging them. I've never been a fan of 'autopsy' movies. I just don't consider them 'horror', but there's really not other classification for them.

The original Alien is a horror. The Birds is a horror. Jaws is a horror. They're scary movies.

As far as I'm concerned, the best horror movies don't show you anything or they show you very little. The mind fills in all the scary stuff all by itself if it's done well.

Take The Haunting for example. The original 1963 version didn't show a single ghost, but it was as scary as hell because your brain was telling you what you were seeing. The 2007 version bombed because the movie showed you everything and your brain didn't have anything to do except to try to figure out why it was supposed to be scary:

The remake of The Haunting came out in 1999, not 2007. And I agree, the original is brilliant and the remake sucked.

And I can't wait for The Final Destination. I LOVE the series and I've been waiting for this movie for a long time.

No I get you 100% I love these movies but I am a real scary cat BUT these movies do not scare me at all... They just make you say ewww or thats disgusting... For example (I get scared from ghost movies i.e Thirteen Ghost....but gory, and bloody movies like the Saw series and Final Destination do not scare me... I still like them though.

3D Looks AWESOME FOR THIS ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE

When's the exact release date?

Also, who are the two hot guys in the movie?

It looks good to me. I wonder why they went with "The Final Destination" instead of "Final Destination IV/4"...

When's the exact release date?

Online it says August 28th and August 14th so I don't know. So probably sometime before, during or after August...

Seriously, that just upsets me that there will be no more movies.. :(

They bracing for the movie to bomb or something? I don't care I'm still a huge fan. haha

EDIT : Only i can fuck up quoting someone...

OH! They did it because this is the last one? I didn't know that...

I liked the series too. That does suck... :(

August 28 is the release date.

Bobby Campo is the lead and I'm assuming the other one you're referring to is Nick Zano, the guy in the pool.

If it works there's still going to be

THE VERY LAST FINAL DESTINATION

LMAO

Oh well doesn't that sound like fun.

Being drowned in a car wash or having your head stuck up so you can be decapitated.

I have to ask. When are they going to stop?

The first one was an airplone exploding and everyone dying but a fucked up ending.

Actually Kinda did enjoy the first one. The focus seemed to be more on the fear of death and who was next and how a twisted son of a bitch death it.

The second one that starts off with the highway seems more "OMG HOW CAN WE KILL SOMEONE". Like being stabbed with a pole, a run away bus, a fire, it just got so unreal.

And the baby thing was kinda stupid. The "OMG let's have false hope but oh wait no were fucked and it's gonna happen again."

The third I never even watched. It just diddn't look that great. Also they keep changing the kids every movie. But I think the girl from the first movie is in the second.

I think the concept of the movie is the best part of the series. "If you avoid death than death is going to fucking kill you in any way you can". But the execution was definately more the gore and grossness of "1000 ways to kill humans". Which a lot of movies seem to focus on now.

And I do agree with the poster who commented on the birds and alien as horror.

Psycho was horror too. Your mind really does fill in the gaps more. But it seems that now the "Horror" movie genre has gone completely into decapitation and gore.

I did see a news article a while back on how the movie industry was failing and how they were going to start bringing back 3D films to try and revive the dying industry.

Although I think 3D rides are more fun. Having your senses fucked with and being a moving car the whole time. That star wars thing at disneyland kicks ass.

I kinda get what you mean
yeah the strenght lies in the concept thats true...
But i dont think the deaths in the first one are more "real" than the second one...

The shower scene, the train scene and the last scene (electricity/water/car) are just Too unreal

My fav scene of the series is the car accident in the second one tho... really strong and powerful...

I never meant that the first one had more real deaths. I mean the ending of the movie was just kind of bullshit with death trying to kill them all. The ending right before the credits I mean.

But it seems that's all the second movie was. I do find the most interesting deaths are the ones that start off with a loose bolt, a crack in a coffee cup, or some kind of "VERY SMALL" incident or not even incident. Just a small thing that causes an explosion, countless deaths, or something odd.

I kinda liked in the second one the shot when the wire kind of whips around and grabs the pole and than it all ends with the guy being in the car and when he presses the gas the pole goes through him.

And I actually did like the nascar race going in the teaser for the 4th one with the familar crack and than the bolt going on in the race, the tire going off, and the explosion and fire happening.

But what I liked about the first one is besides the bastard death (who is never seen) killing people that guy kept getting blame it was just kind of bitter sweet how even though how he tried to save the teacher as soon as he comes in she looks at him and the knife just magically stabs her.

The first one I believe had multiple themes in it. While the second one and third one are mostly for affect, gore, and just unreal but sometimes interesting bullshit.

I do like that death is never shown though. They could have done some CGI demon or death that taps everything or breaks things to cause the events. But at least they never do that. Although watch them do it in the final one.

"NOW ONE LAST TIME THEY HAVE TO FACE DEATH. WHO IS FINALLY SHOWN WEARING A WHITE MASK AND WHO WANTS TO KILL THEM ONCE AND FOR ALL. WITH FLYING BIRDS, MICROSOFT COMPUTERS BEING FAULTY AND EXPLODING AND THE DEAD RISING."
