This reminds me of a photoshopped but quite convincing image of a colossal ad for a gay porn video being plastered onto the side of a building. I think it was a Leo Ford video. I don’t think your photo is faked - I suppose it was taken during the Folsom Street Parade or something - but it jogged my memory. If anyone has that gag photo I remember, please let me know!

In the ad you posted Billy is the kid with the tattoo on his arm. I don’t think he did much else, but Buster stayed busy in those days. And they’re both credited in “Buster Goes to Laguna, 25th Anniversary Edition,” which I expect must be available digitally, although I can’t swear to it. And my guess is that it’s the footage the magazine was made of.
