Looking back, this was one of the first actors to make me realise (not that I knew a word for it) that unlike my friends, I preferred actors to actresses. Danny Lockin who played Barnaby in Hello Dolly. Didn't find out until decades later that he was gay and met a grisly end...

Your photo isn't showing but I met him a few times in WeHo and went to one of his Cabaret shows, he was adorable and sweet. And YES a horrible end and AND TOTAL travesty of justice if you read about the joke of a sentence his murderer got away with! (there's still a tribute page to him online somewhere with active angry comments about the injustice. His screen test for Sound Of Music (for Rolph "16 going on 17 etc") is also still somewhere on YouTube)
