I immediately Googled it, and apparently Hallmark has bought the rights to Golden Girls & is switching to the Hallmark Channel in February 2009

Lifetime says it wants to begin building the network on original programming, but their keeping Still Standing, Fraiser, W&G, & Reba...huh?

Isn't GG arguably the most "TV for women" show of them?

Tune into Lifetime right now. That episode is on. I am watching it.

They restarted the series a couple weeks ago. I think this is my 4th time watching it from episode one with the gay cook, to the series finale when Dorothy got married.

I still feel a sense of loss at the passing of Estelle Getty. How fortunate were we to have had the opportunity to enjoy her work.

I might have missed it somewhere in the thread, but the "Frida Claxton" episode was pretty funny to me...especially when the lady came into the funeral by mistake and told about all the good deeds that Celia Rubenstein had done, then kicked Frida's casket...and the episode where Phil dies was kinda sad to me...I get kinda choked up when Sophia cries, "My baby is gone!"

I love this show. I used to watch it all the time with my mom before I moved away for college and lost cable. Too many hilarious episodes to count. I wish they hadn't tried to do that failure of a spin-off though
