I don't believe either parties run with the intent to cause any harm to the country as a whole. It was bound to happen when the American public elect someone with the intelligence of a wiffle bat (my apologies to the wiffle bat). After the whole Clinton scandal, it seemed inevitable that Republicans would take over the White House, and it was inevitable that since the Republicans, mainly Bush, fucked up this country so much, that a Democrat would take over this time.
I've not seen any evidence that would lead me to believe that the Republican party intended to make such bad decisions. Sometimes when people do what they think is right, it turns out to be the worst. But you won't cross that road until you test the traffic.
So no, I don't think they're a terrorist organization, and although I see how you arrived at the questionable politics of their side, that's a rather ridiculous question/comparison to be answered.
I think they hid a lot of things, and they made a lot of rushed decisions along with some bad and some fatal ones, but as I've said, I don't have reason to believe they were intentional.
