  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

The gullible will always be gullible

On topic....it sounds like they all deserve one another.

But I guess religious people of all faiths believe nonsensical things, so why not?

Anyway, it's an amusing story.

I'd like to know how the woman's husband, children and landlords are liable.

The word gullible isn't even in any dictionary :?

^ I know.

What's up with that?

it IS gullible to think that there is no validity in nature based theologies

32% of the world - over 2 BILLION people - believe that females were created from a males rib - that a stick turned into a serpent - that the entire red sea opened up on command - that a virgin gave birth - that an ark contained the entire world's lifeblood -

2 BILLION believe that a God transcended from humankind

500,000 MILLION believe reincarnation

hell over 50,000 believe that a spaceship is coming to get them

and yet everyone thinks it's a stretch that some can guide others through metaphysical means #-o

I am not saying that Sophia Adams is the real deal - there are shysters in all paths - but earth based religions are not even remotely as farfetched as the theologies of the mainstay religions... I am much more apt to believe that someone can heal with natures herbs than I am in immaculate conception
